Make sure you are not using a bright monitor in a dark room. Turn down brightness. Also a program like flux (https://justgetflux.com/) can reduce eye strain by changing color temperature. The color temperature program has even more benefits but i mainly use it for the eye strain, but must have imho.
Timezones are a tricky thing. As an Australia (GMT+10), 22nd actually means 23rd for me. Where are you from? Because your post says "2 hours ago" and you're referring to "tomorrow". Which would fit you into a similar timezone as me wouldn't it?
Anyway. Here's a link based on the 9-11am UTC-7 time for Switch as quoted by tiberiousr (cheers)
Have you tried running the EGS in offline mode? I hear the servers are being a bit temperamental at the moment, you might be getting kicked out because you lost connection.

DS4Windows http://ds4windows.com is pretty smooth these days. With a basic unmodified profile the only issue is the game shows an icon for the pad button, when you actually want the share button. (DS4win remaps the touchpad to the mouse.)
After that, you could mess with a custom profile to add a bit better control -- the main thing is that the keyboard shortcuts still work when in gamepad mode, even though the mouse is locked. So I disabled the touchpad-as-mouse thing and added some extra functions to that by sending keystrokes.
Thanks! I actually found a more complicated solution (using this http://headsoft.com.au/index.php?category=vjoy to bind the keyboard to a virtual joystick), but your solution is waaaaay better!
If you are willing to spend the money the Wii U Pro controller in conjunction with the wireless dongle is amazing. It has 80 hours of battery life, it is lightweight, the Dpad is superb, and in general it is an amazing controller. You just have to get use to they placement of XYAB being flipper to YXBA.
