Ooooohmygod
In the same vein, but alas more HE priced, I found this gem on amazon as well.
The possibilities are truly endless when you want to scare the bejesus out of everyone while you walk to and from your car. Or...nap in your car.
Food can make acne worse. Food does not cause acne. Mayo Clinic says
Four main factors cause acne:
Excess oil production
Hair follicles clogged by oil and dead skin cells
Bacteria
Excess activity of a type of hormone (androgens)
What I said is not a broad assumption. I wasn't talking out my ass.
/srs i had this too and despite finding the culprit it took me ages to sort it, I finally found that this ointment really helped and now I’m cured, just felt I should share in case you’re looking for something!
It was the first result for me!
In case anyone is curious, it is a cute shower curtain.

For most people, washing their face in the morning is not necessary. But if you enjoy it and don't have any issues from it, then sure why not lol.
The best way to learn about skincare is from experts, namely board certified dermatologists. Scrolling through reddit/social media for dermatological advice will procure a haze of contradictory information that often leaves people more confused (and much poorer lol) than they ever needed be. The skin is an organ just like our heart or our eyes, and so doctors will be the most educated on how we should be taking care of it.
If you want to learn more about skin and have extra money for a book, I think this one by Canadian-based dermatologist Dr. Skotnicki is wonderful: It's called Beyond Soap (link). She details from a doctor's perspective how the skin as an organ works, and what skincare products we really "need", if any at all. She isn't selling anything through the book either, she actually encourages people to buy less products and keep things simple.
Another free resource is a site called FryFace (link). This was created by an American-based Dermatologist Dr. Frey to assist her patients in navigating a whirlwind of beauty products they see in the store. She also has a blog she updates semi-regularly with a lot of great information about skin biology, and how to solve various skin issues such as hangnails, sunburns, and skin tags. Her website also utilizes a "product selector" for her readers. It is based off of accessible, common brands that can be found in most American drugstores and grocery stores.
I hope this helps some!
I gotchu, fam. I’m actually impressed, it’s pretty nice quality and the colors are even better in person. I was a little embarrassed to wear it in public but then realized no one can see my face anyway so my shame stays with me. 😂

these babies , except I got a pack of 4 of the exact same ones for the same price but I can’t find that link of course
Yeah I’m not a huge fan either. At the end of the day it is still a chemical sunscreen, but as far as I know, they’re complying with the 2018 law removing octinoxate and oxybenzone so it’s not as damaging to coral reefs and I’ve never had a bad reaction to it personally. Also I’m poor (pore)
If you’re willing to really lower your standards and scrape the bottom of the barrel(like I may be) for gallon jugs of sunscreen, Amazon’s got some even cheaper options in these trying Covid times:

I'm glad people are finally taking my advice that a hot iron is the quickest way to permanently smooth skin. Though I'm partial to this product instead. Don't forget to follow a strict descaling regime as well. I recommend a 90% vinegar solution.
And they still can't manage to make 99% of them reef safe so I can use it on vacation at beaches.
Ended up buying a silly shimmery coconut smelling one and am still not sure I got the right chemicals. But on the plus side, I like the way this one feels so i'm just gunna be a sparkly coconut.

Here is 5 gallons of petroleum jelly for $136.95. Damn, I'm gonna need a second job.
Swarovski?? I'm in the kitchen mixing shit up , and on my laptop only buying skincare off Etsy. It is so clean. Clean. ReFreShIng. Clean.
Quick google image search pulls up research on template matching and facial recognition so unless Dale Cooper has a side gig as a scholastic model, I'm gonna go with nah
This is the one I got. Happy Light has a few models at different price points, so I would look at what works for you. I love mine so far. I've noticed a marked increase in unprovoked panic attacks when I forget to use it in the morning. So the key is consistency. Start with less time, like 20 minutes. It's been known to trigger manic episodes in people who are bipolar so you need to approach with caution. I haven't had any negative side effects so I'll use it for at least an hour to an hour and a half, but I work a desk job from home so that's pretty easy for me. If you have any questions I can't promise I'll know the answer, but please ask anyway.
don't worry, i've received lots of advice from this thread and determined i will never be leaving my house again 💓 house protection inspo ✨
it also does skintags and warts but legit sketchy
(Thanks for linking the original—I could only find the refill and I was like, love the energy, but I have nothing to put it in)
I’m not really sure which one because it didn’t say but the bottle I received was light blue.

so thats the same as this, legitimately asking cause the ingredients are slightly different but I guess I know for next time
I was thinking of the film they put on office windows in skyscrapers like related https://www.amazon.com/Security-Adhesive-Shatter-Protection-17-7inch/dp/B07ZYZGL91/ref=sr_1_33?dchild=1&keywords=window+film+for+office&qid=1604954064&sr=8-33. I already wear spf. I don't really want anything touching my face since it probably would make me break out, since even wearing one-use masks makes me have nose bumps :(
Srs After using one of the tiny sample things of that same sort of thing when I got it in my Birchbox, I bought a huge jar of plain lanolin off Amazon and that was four years ago and it’s still got quite a bit in it. I depotted small quantities into other containers for maximum portability/minimum contamination and grossness. Totally recommend.
Well if you're not doing anything in particular, I would go with a good plumping toner/lotion plus a really creamy and emollient occlusive... A pair that I've been enjoying lately is Biyougenki Premium in the blue bottle and coffee butter from Amazon. The coffee butter is not make up compatible but is amazingly soft and feels so hydrating and nourishing. Biyougenki in the blue bottle is super gentle but really gets my skin moist and plump feeling. Love them together!

I just linked this in my reply to OP but maybe it’ll work better for you? I had a horrible reaction to the TO at first and started using this with great results. Now I can alternate between this and TO, I agree that 10% may be too much starting out. I definitely won’t repurchase the TO again and just stick to this amazon one.
do you know if the azaelic axis is causing your skin to react or is it the absence of the zinc since the zinc is what soothed your skin issues? regardless, I haven’t found anything yet about an exact substitute to curology, but from looking up that skin condition, I found something that might be helpful. I guess the skin condition is a form of eczema and the National Eczema Association recommends for that skin condition to wash your face with a face wash containing that zinc stuff. This face bar from Vanicream contains it (https://www.amazon.com/Vanicream-Medicated-Cleansing-Sensitive-Pyrithione/dp/B073JZ2967/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=zinc+face+wash&qid=1600058303&sr=8-3). I remember once while looking up fungal acne they recommended lathering up some in your hands, applying a thin layer to your face, wait a couple of minutes, and wash it off. I wonder if doing something like that would help. There are also creams that have that ingredient in it (https://www.dermaharmony.com/products/seborrheic-dermatitis-cream).
Any will do, this is the one I use
