For me that moment is funny just for the sheer absurdity of it. The Bucks wanting to do a stupid spot to honour a friends dead father is weird enough. Botching it, and Meltzer not watching it live elevates it to some excrutiating, bathetic level shit.
That and "hey, remember me?? Here's a random assortment f recipes I've collected and put my face on the cover of!"
Some people, like Snoop, can just sell anything on pure novelty.
"The TNT app is available to over 80 million homes across the United States." -- David "Head of AEW Marketing" Meltzer
The fact that that statement came from a so-called "journalist" and not a copywriter is hilarious. It's the kind of half-truth you expect from people trying to sell you bullshit. Oh yeah, the app is available to 80 million homes. Lessee how many actually downloaded... 5 million? S'ok, that's still more than people who watch WWE Network, which has a download rate of... *checks notes ... over 10 million installs?! I-I-I mean FED BAD DUB GOOD
It’s Brian R. Solomon’s “Blood and Fire”: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1770415807/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I loved the book, it might be one of my favorite wrestling books. He’s got such an interesting story, going from outdrawing The Rolling Stones at Cobo to barely getting anyone to show up.
It’s on WWE2K22 on all consoles as long as you have your 2K account linked to your console account.
possibly, probably more of a supply and demand thing. they're made by a Japanese manufacturer and the area i live in has a high asian population (no it's not Kenny Omega's closet) so they're at pretty much every supermarket and gas station.
they're kinda like Jolly Rancher soft chews but without the sharp, sugar bomb tang. I'd say a cross between taffy and Skittles. they're on Amazon for pretty cheap, I'd highly recommend checking them out
That's strange. Good for TNA then!
I've been listening to a South African science fiction audiobook called Rosewater It's read by a Nigerian as well. I think. It's super good.
It's about a town that's popped up around some sort of alien object in Nigeria. Most of the book takes place in 2066. Once a year the object opens up and everyone within a certain vicinity is healed. Cancer. HIV. All of it. The lead character is a sort of psychic who operates a mental firewall at a bank and does interrogations for the government.
Awesome, then you’re already on the first step. Try the Headspace app and/or read The Mind Illuminated: A Complete Meditation Guide Integrating Buddhist Wisdom and Brain Science for Greater Mindfulness. It is written by a neuroscientist and it will help.
If you can’t afford it, pm me your PayPal or Venmo or whatever. I’ll buy you a copy.
Fun fact: the Watch TNT app has 5 million installs in Google Play Store. No actual numbers from App Store, but reviews are scathing.
Honestly at this point Davey's defense of AEW is more like official press releases and not actual journalism.
