Yes on the "Abeja Loop Trail". Here's a link to the trail if anybody is interested:
Like others, I’ve started getting 5 gallon water refills because I tried a bunch of different water filter pitchers and the water was still gross for me. I go to The Water Lady (someone else mentioned it) and use this electric water bottle dispenser https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B07NRYR6B6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_0Q1KDBJ9SJRVCW9P23AX
Hey I had trouble with Aphids eating my rutabaga leaves out in Santee too. if it's helpful for you to know this: you can buy green lacewings and deploy them like orbital drop shocktroopers from hell to commit aphidcide on those grubby bastards. It worked for me, now the rutabagas are producing leaves again
same here! we have two 5gallon jugs and we go about once every 7-10 days to fill them both and we have this for hot and cold water
we paid for 200 dollars worth upfront and with the amount of water for free we got it comes out to like 20cents a gallon and its the best water we have had!
also for pets, a heated pet bed is amazing, my cats absolutely LOVE this, it plugs in but uses next to no electricity, definitely get the large size

I have one of those oil heaters, they're still very hot to the touch and were not very good at heating up my room evenly, so I switched over to a ceramic heater with a fan that oscillates and has automatic temperature control.
I prefer the ceramic heater.
This is something similar on amazon. https://www.amazon.com/Lasko-CT16450-Oscillating-Thermostat-Protection/dp/B08KSJZW4T
Thanks, appreciate the comment!. Yes Dogs allowed on a lease. Below is a link from AllTrails for the main Lagoon trail. Note that the neighborhoods above the lagoon west of Hwy 5 have trails with great views of the area. Check Google/Apple maps for access points. Dogs also allowed.
I bought this: AUTO-VOX T9 OEM Look Rear View... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08FT4VC37?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
The selection they had there was meager and the person who I talked to softly suggested I just buy my own. They installed it in a couple hours for $400. Very professional and very nice to work with.
Have your roommate point a portable fan directly at themself, preferably a DC powered fan because these use less electricity than AC fans. https://www.amazon.com/Vornado-Energy-Circulator-Variable-Control/dp/B01MUGM7J7/
Then you can set the AC to 80 and still be comfortable.
While you're waiting I have two of these in our 650 sq ft apt and they are the best window units I've ever had in 20 years:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08677DCKN/?th=1
Super quiet since the window splits the noisy part outside. They have larger BTU sizes as well. But man I only paid $350 for mine last year! Not they are up to $530, at least on Amazon.
Amazon has it. Free 1 day delivery with prime.

Not sure why your vet gave you a prescription, it’s available for humans without a prescription. Just make sure you follow the vet’s instructions for dosage instead of the package since you’re using it on your dog.
Familiar with Bluetooth FM adapters?
If you can plug this thing into your vehicle, you can broadcast your phones audio onto an FM channel that you choose. As long as you live somewhere with an FM frequency that isn’t being used by a radio station it works very well!
Here’s a random one from Amazon, can’t speak to this particular model but gives the idea: Limited-time deal: (Upgraded Version) Bluetooth FM Transmitter, Sumind Wireless Radio Adapter Hands-Free Car Kit with 1.7 Inch Display, QC3.0 and Smart 2.4A Dual USB Ports, AUX Input/Output, TF Card Mp3 Player https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0756WZ2V3/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_dl_ZRVGBPMGTZR6DJJD3J7A?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
what kind of e-bike did you get?
Gazelle.
Do you worry someone will try to steal it
No. If I leave it somewhere like Balboa Park or Hillcrest, I use two U locks and one beefy chain lock in addition to the built-in café lock in conjunction with a $17ear piercing motion sensing alarm. It would take an educated thief with a good angle grinder and an extra battery Half an hour or more to get my bike. I also know how to lock it and how to pick a good spot to leave it. However if I’m just running into the store to get some thing I usually only use the café lock and the alarm and maybe one of the locks. There’s a carrier on the back rack and because the bike is so beefy-powerful carrying all of that extra lock weight around is a no brainer.
If I were in your position I would ditch the U locks and go with three beefy chains. Or there is a new u lock that is totally resistant to angle grinders. Maybe I would do that and a couple of chains. I think if somebody knew my bike spent four or five days a week locked up outside in the same spot for eight hours at a time they might be able to get it. But I work from home and don’t have any patterns to where I ride my bike. So I’m not worried. It’s doable but you have to plan.
Waterproof bag. Have had one for years. Works great. Something like this:
smack that bad boy to the under frame of your car (via the strong magnet) near the trunk far enough away from the driver door & engine compartment.
So…I was curious about the hat. $25 on Amazon.
Hogue WS LLC I Smell Commies Hat (Embroidered Denim Cap) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09BDKDTQF
But the funny, although not surprising, part is that the hat was made in China.
Best thing to do is If you have a cough, fever, congestion, etc - assume you have Covid and act accordingly. Omicron is super contagious and you probably have it. Unless you are high risk or have difficult to control symptoms, get a pulse oximeter ($22 on Amazon) and monitor your blood oxygen level, drink lots of fluids, and rest. Hospitals/doctors will do nothing unless you are high risk or your symptoms are severe. Here is the CDC recommendation on how to treat Covid. https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/if-you-are-sick/steps-when-sick.html And here is the pulse oximeter I got. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0881PTQH4

There's a whole book about alien encounters on Coronado island that happened while (then) President Bill Clinton was staying at the Coronado Hotel.
This is a canon 24mm prime 2.8
Here is an amazon listing for the same type of lens.

Live in a 650 sq ft 2 bedroom in OB (so maybe not as hot as other places) - one in the kitchen and one in the smaller bedroom\office keeps the whole place cool. Can't put it in my actual bedroom because it would stick out into the walkway, but still works. Super quiet because the loud part is outside the window - first window unit I've ever been happy with.
I use the Waterdrop Ultra filters for drinking water at every sink. I have 3 of them installed and have been really happy. You can even get one that is setup to filter the main water feed to your sink as well so that you are washing dishes and your hands with filtered water as well.
Hey Jake! Came here to say exactly this. Disc golf is often called "hiking with purpose." If you're already into hiking, you'll love it. There are several great courses in San Diego, and the commenter above me is right that there's a built in mechanism for grouping up on any course with tee times. (Also, if you go to an open play course and there are other solo players, it's very common to ask if people want to group up.) Grab a starter set of discs for $20, watch a youtube video, and you're good to go.
Feel free to PM me if you want to play a round in the next couple weeks.
Aww man, that is so sad. He must be extra insecure and lonely with all the changes too. My dog, Smokey, was the same. He was given up to the same rescue twice because of horrible separation anxiety. The people's neighbors complained because he would sit in the yard and cry all day. And when I got him, my neighbors would be standing outside my apartment when I got home thinking it was on fire because of how he screamed and wailed. It was nuts. He sounded like he was being tortured. I used to bring him with me to go grocery shopping, leave him in the car, and physically run to go buy some food. I ended up putting him on Prozac, and I also followed this book to the letter:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/1891767054/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_2yMeGbJJ3AWWJ
He is soooooooo much better now and is actually only the 3rd most anxious of our dogs now (our two and our friends' two that live in our granny flat). If you want any training advice, please feel free to message.
Theres a brand new app that works really well in the SD area.
