Yes, I do! Here's the link. VASSOUL Lash Lift Kit, Eyelash Perm Kit, Professional Eyelash Lash Extensions, Lash Curling, Semi-Permanent Curling Perming Wave Suitable For Salon https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07MDDN9V2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apan_glt_fabc_MWEYNP7E4S5TPSGAQC3B?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
This is spot on. SO many people don't realize the importance of matching the base of your primer and foundation. I'd also add that figuring out the right brush for your foundation/BB cream makes all the difference. I use Sigma's flat kabuki brush and it smooths and melts oil-based creams into the skin sooo beautifully.
Sleep Strips by SomniFix - Advanced Gentle Mouth Tape for Better Nose Breathing, Improved Nighttime Sleeping, Less Mouth Breathing, and Instant Snoring Relief - Pack of 28 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B076CQ1NR8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glc_fabc_D2Y9ZFQYPB2VXFKFFR82?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I use this one. It doesn’t irritate my dark circles and my under eye circles and jawline greatly improved with years of use.
I tried looking on Amazon for the same reason and this was the closest thing I could find. Around $30 but it doesn’t look as firm😕
Edited bc I fucked up the link lol
GG Scandinavian Bran Crispbread All Natural Bran Cracker Packages, 5 count, 3.5-Ounce Packages (Pack of 5) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B003G1ZRTY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_WYT0F9JK33JVD65ECD3A?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I love the GG crackers! They are super filling. Lots of recipes online as well for things to put on top
I like jojoba and camellia oils. They're light oils that won't weigh down most people's hair.
Someone pointed out that moisture needs heat to get into the hair which is also something to think about. You might be better off getting a hair bonnet that connects to your hair dryer to give you a heat treatment. I got this one last month and have been loving it. I also use the Aussie 3 minute miracle deep conditioner mask with it and it's been amazing, I can get a 2 pack for like $4 and it's lasted a long time.
i bought this lotion from Amazon after losing a lot of weight that left my breasts looking saggy- after applying 2x a day for a few months they feel fuller and look better than they ever have in my life, with the only side effect being more sensitive nipples. id recommend it to anybody and it’s really been a miracle product for me, good luck :)
Keratin treatment is gentle on hair and excellent in condition. For those who are concerned about dryness and damage to their hair, it will improve to smooth and shiny hair after the treatment.
The brand Honest makes a great tinted lip balm.
I’m lucky to have a medical esthetician in my family so I get professional microneedling done by her. I use a foam roller just like you’d find in any gym and also a tiger tail roller stick. Like these:
I really like the metal chain watch bands, but I have the same problem - I work out every day and didn't feel like changing the strap all the time. What I did was find a silicon chain band and got it in a grey color, so it could look as close to silver as I could get. Does it look exactly like a metal watch band? No, but I feel much better about the band and I don't have to mess with changing it out all the time. The one I got was this one in grey, just for a visualization.
I was a commando queen for years but around 27 or so I decided I needed to be a fresh + clean girl and part of that was wearing underwear everyday. I just get like high waisted cotton undies and they’re so comfy. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07RKMY54Y?ref_=pe_2409890_445922140 also I like wearing mend boxers briefs
> I’ve done 2 laser treatments with them and didn’t really see any difference. Since it’s expensive, I didn’t go back. I don’t know what else to do. They look SO bad and they keep getting worse. I try to cover them with makeup and I can’t seem to get the right blend the right product and that also looks silly. I’ve been considering getting a tattoo on both ankles to cover them up. Any thoughts or has anyone else been in the same boat? TIA.
I’ve been doing at home keratin treatments! this is what I use. You really need ventilation while your doing it lol bc the smell burns ur eyes and nose, but it has made it where I truly don’t need to do anything to my hair. I can roll out of bed and give it a little tousle and be good to go
I felt that about the wigs being tight, and feeling itchy and hot. Personally, I have bought Jon renau wigs (Zara and Sarah style) and they have them in a large cap size and it doesn’t squeeze my head like the others. The best thing you can do is get a wig cap I’ve heard to reduce the itching, and using something like this on your lace front, because if you don’t the lace will be moving on your skin all day causing irritation. For the heat investing in a high quality wig and thinning it out and going for shorter styles can help. Some people even just shave their heads and their wigs fit better and are way more breathable, if you ever decide to try that route.
this sounds like something that was happening to me. It turns out I was allergic to broccoli and gluten. So I was eating chicken, rice, and broccoli everyday and so frustrated that I wasn't losing any weight.
Is there a food you eat a lot? Try to eliminate it for a few weeks and see what happens. I ordered an allergy panel off of Amazon.
Where/how do you walk? I've seen insane results walking at the max incline on a treadmill.
Also, increase your fiber and water intake. I take the fiber in pills because I don't like the taste.
I tried Olaplex #3 because it was recommended to me by a hairstylist friend. They said that #3 was the only one you need to repair hair. I tried it and found that while it did help a little, it was an underwhelming result.
So, I looked for alternatives (I googled dupes) and found this one, Boldplex 3, on Amazon:https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0888NTP6Y?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details
I was surprised when this obvious knockoff worked far better for my dry and curly hair. You get more product than olaplex for the same price (or cheaper).
Sunscreen on hands! I have a sunscreen spray bottle in my car and I also bought driving gloves to wear when I drive. I also keep a baseball cap in there too.
Also, I don't know if this exactly counts as a beauty hack but I love repladies for the great bags and other lux fashion that can help with your overall presence. They are off reddit for the time being because they got unwanted attention in the press :/ so now they went to discord. There is r/FashionReps you could check out tho!
yep, it’s just a basic one from amazon. i’m sure i could have bought it cheaper from a discount shop but i have a lot of scars on my legs due to childhood eczema and your run of the mill hyperpigmentation and i have noticed that they’ve reduced a lot! ofc i also use kojic acid twice a week and only use retinol every now and then. here’s the link: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Advanced-Clinicals-Retinol-Firming-Cream/dp/B00DI9IIEK?pd_rd_w=5eOv0&pf_rd_p=332cb5e7-9965-451c-9366-12b789fde6e1&pf_rd_r=EFM1YJTBM2MM6HY1CEJH&pd_rd_r=d8fbeed4-636c-4977-a9c1-cbfea9a73cc6&pd_rd_wg=7G1qu&... i’m in the uk so the link may be different wherever you are, hope this helps 🥰
Try these or something similar. But instead of inserting them in the bottom of your bra cups, put them in the outer edge of the cups (you'll have to mess around to find the exact right positioning) so they push your breasts away from your armpits and more toward the center of your body. Especially with a push-up bra, you get cleavage city.
Im about to pull the trigger on this machine Nettito. Wondering if anyone has thoughts on this machine? Recommendations for gel? What do i need to be aware of before attempting this on myself at home? Can i mess up my body using it wrong?
Do you anything about the effectiveness of lower end handheld ones like this ?
I got mine years ago so they’re not these specific ones, but they’re just like this: (you go have to tease the hair a little to get it to stay in place over the clips but nowhere near as much as you would have to for the same volume without the clips. I’m sure they do them in other colours too) https://www.amazon.co.uk/Sponge-Clips-Insert-Styling-Girls/dp/B07QYV5MPP/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?crid=3FIB4YZOOEVCL&keywords=hair+bump+clip&qid=1640721941&sprefix=hair+bump%2Caps%2C75&sr=8-3
I just get the following kit but you could also use mens beard dye. Smack it on 8-10 min and wash off with water.
1000 Hour Brow Color Kit Dark Brown - Long Lasting Temporary Color - Lasts Up To 6 Weeks - 12 Applications - Gentle Plant Extract Formula - Professional Formula https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08ZN8JPDH/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_2X3TS5AQ8QEXDCJZ8ME1
Yes! Someone on the sub said any well-reviewed one on Amazon would do 🤷♀️ I got this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08Z7WWPH4/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
and have been happy with it!
Tips I have: 1. Do one eye at a time & read the instructions & lay everything out way before you actually get started 2. Start mixing the tint when you get started. The instructions mentions mixing the tint after you perm them but it takes like 15 minutes for it to darken so you're just sitting there with the tape over your eye waiting for the dye to oxidize.
I use this peeling powder about once a week, and I do a peel-off face mask about once a week as well. Oddly, I’ve found that the super basic Freeman’s cucumber peel mask is kind of a drugstore Holy Grail. :)
I try to remember the book I just read because it had a great breakdown. But something like this (I’m reading it right now and it’s pretty good) would also be a good starting point:
Exfoliate before shaving. Tree hut has some good oil based ones. After that shave how you normally would and use lotion and a body shimmer oil. I really like this one below..
I believe there’s also a smaller bottle for like $34 which is what I started out with bc I didn’t want to drop like $70 at first lmao. But the link you can see the women’s before and after in the review. I’m no expert in photoshop, I’ve only used Facetune occasionally to remove zits but when I zoom into the review picture I don’t see any distortion, blurring or smoothing, which makes me feel like it’s real + my own anecdotal experience?? There are also some reviews saying it did nothing for them though
Sure! I like these shirts off Amazon bc they're affordable. I actually swim with them on because I'm really pale and don't tan. I just burn and freckle. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08NPJN2NN/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_imm_dl_TV7P3VC4CP0HSTT7D9GT?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 I also have a bucket hat I got off yesstyle that looks REALLY sexy. Similar one here : https://www.amazon.com/dp/B096RTQKFJ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_imm_N5M56P54AW0AVSWYCEWR?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
My brother in law calls me a vampire and I look ridiculous, BUT I don't want to worry about skin cancer.
Honestly, there is so much fantastic advice already summarised in this thread!
I'm not sure what I can share that won't take up too much time, but if you have any specific questions or examples/ contexts of when you've been called standoffish, it might be good to use this as a basis for developing a personal plan of how to come across more warmly without being inauthentically different to who you currently are.
High attractiveness + high introversion can sometimes come across as standoffish alone, is there the potential that this is impacting how you are interpreted? Because if you're attractive and introverted you need to modify your behaviour to come across as friendly, but also modifying your behaviour may have other associated risks (like social attention that is difficult to handle).
Here is my book on first impressions! It just came out! I posted some old cut-offs about hair from it previously (when it was just a baby!) after we realised that looks-based first impressions information was.... too much to bite off! I also have Google play, Kobo, Barnes and Nobles and Payhip links but I don't really want to self-advertise too much (despite being proud of them since it took so long to upload them as each system has a different format). I know that the amazon formatting isn't as pretty as the formatting on other systems, so if you want a link lemme know!
Also let me know if you have any questions! Would be happy to help you troubleshoot.
Just bought this! It's $25 for a pound! Collegen Powder
I am using this currently! https://www.amazon.com/KISS-Falscara-Eyelash-Starter-Kit/dp/B082MQP2D7
They look pretty fluffy to me, but I am going to switch to lashify so that I can get shorter lashes for my inner corners :)
I think the name brand will be around the same price, and they have more options and are more natural looking!
It makes them slightly drier but nothing a little exfoliating and balm can’t take care of.
This is the taps I have used for years!
Sleep Strips by SomniFix - Advanced Gentle Mouth Tape for Better Nose Breathing, Improved Nighttime Sleeping, Less Mouth Breathing, and Instant Snoring Relief - Pack of 28 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B076CQ1NR8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glc_fabc_GW0KQJ3HG1R0336YVAM6
I get 10 uses out of the one I buy! It lasts for 2-3 months on my eyelashes every time I perm them which is great. It lasts a long time, and this one is very gentle on the eyes.
I have taken Astaxanthin for 10 years. Truthfully, I think the benefits of Astaxathin are more beneficial in preventing potential future damage.
I didn’t notice any change in skin tint from Astaxathin alone. What I noticed changed my skin tint was drinking 8 oz of cold pressed carrot juice every day.
What made the greatest difference in my skin was going completely sugar and dairy free as well as avoiding the sun and wearing sunscreen every day. I’m in my late 20s but people often assume I am in my early 20s.
This is the Astaxathin I’ve taken for years:
Dr. Mercola, Organic Astaxanthin Dietary Supplement Capsules, 12mg, 30 Servings (30 Capsules), Antioxidant, Non GMO, Soy Free, Gluten Free https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07FKT2S3X/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_ZX41MR6TZ478JT9VM3NB
This is the scale I use it’s very good and accurate in my experience, especially when measuring things like butter that are calorie dense. It has volume measurements but they are inaccurate so just ignore them lol. The only small complaint is that when you tare it you need to wait 5 seconds for it to register. Like if i tare and then immediately remove the plate from the scale to get food it doesn’t register the plate as being tarred but that’s a very small problem that you avoid by just waiting a few seconds lol. But i’ve had the scale for about a year and replace the batteries every 3 months (i use it everyday multiple times a day) and it’s the same as when i first bought it. One of the things i really like about scales is that you can tare an item on it and then take it off the scale, take the amount of food you want and then put the food item back on the scale and it’ll show how many grams are gone. Like if i just want a spoonful of peanut butter, i weigh the peanut butter jar, tare it, then grab a spoonful and put the jar back on. The number missing is how many grams of peanut butter is on ur spoon. That might be an obvious tip but i didn’t realize i could do that for a few months so yeah :)
