Hi, I made a Launcher to check your timezone, change it to china, and then after launching the game, restore it back.

Have to add that i've made it on Win 10. Dunno if works on Win 8/8.1. It should, but I've not tested it yet.

If you got an error involving "zlib1.dll" during the installation, you'll need to follow these instructions. Even if your installation continued after the error message you will be missing several GB's worth of data.

Download the missing .dll file, you can get it here. (Download just the zip) Then you're going to have to reinstall the game, uninstall the game and make sure the directory is empty. I placed the .dll in the following folders:

C:/Windows/system32/

C:/Windows/sysWOW64/ (If you have it)

Game Directory/master/ (its created during the installation, place the .dll file there before the CMD windows appear and the error should be prevented).

I didn't have time to figure out which was the correct directory but my game works so I'm not complaining.

I mean this one. According to your video, this is the only piece I might need is from that torrent. My college's network puts a up a "fortiguard", and prevents me from getting it.

Although, I followed this megalink link in order to get the files without torrenting, but I've been having that datachunk.0 error when I try to copy the "update folders" from each of the four parts in that mega link.

Don't download 1.5 update becuase that's already included in the Updates that you already downloaded

I got some anon to upload it to mega, but I put it in the \3DMGAME\3DMGAME\local folder and I'm still getting a white screen.

Messing with the settings manually hasn't worked either.

I fixed my and some else on this sub's issue by downloading zlib1.dll here. You put it into System32, and while the game is installing, you put it into the install directory's /master/ folder that is created a few minutes into the installation.

Manual fix .zip file. Just drop it in the master folder while it's installing should work. Note that you may not need to do this at all, but i'd do it just to be on the safe side.

Seriously, it's crazy what ten years will do with the same hardware.

I am trying to get passed the Quiet 100% Infinite loading screen, if you could get passed the loading screen for me, it would be very helpful since you have the latest updates and I am still on old cracked version.

I plan to buy the game too, but just don't have $60 just yet, but I still would like to play the game a bit more without restarting from the beginning. Thanks.

note: i managed to play the prologue and continue with the same save, but this means that it might crash and that it does not have the Ground zeroes stuff

Turn it off whenever you're gonna play or whatever, it's up to you, but unless you download a 420 tf2 skin heck from youtube you should be fine with it off, honestly.

Yeah, because u need the cracked .exe from the v1 crack. v2 contains only the .dlls and .ini if you download the 600kb only crack version. But i recommend to download this torrent, it contains everything you need, even updates and cracks (the .exe from v1 and other stuff from v2). Just make sure you extract everything to the proper place and it should be work.

I am able to bypass the prologue from the menu (either via ReturnToMenu or Checkpoint option). Selecting that option, will start Episode 1 from the start. What I really want - obviously - is getting this routine kicked in after the endscene (Horse scene). Sofar no good, i'm afraid. so looking for somebody with good Lua insight to get this finalised. for ease of testing, i've included 2 saves (1st one when you get full control in the hospital, 2nd one just before the Reward report) [download here: http://www.4shared.com/rar/XADw7d-Mba/MGS5_Prologue_Workaround.html] What i've done: edited the ReturnToTitle() function to jump to mission 10020 (= episode 1). then edited the func ContinueFromCheckPoint() to point to aforementioned function. Btw: m46 workaround does not work. even more, if you decide to replay prologue later on, you'll get stuck again!

I hope so, you should look at http://pcsx2.net/ and running the other Metal Gear games, 2 is one of my favorites. Learning the story behind Snake and Big Boss and the other characters is worth it in my opinion when playing Metal Gear games.

As the corepack version installs, at the end it starts extracting files via a command prompt version of 7-zip. As it's doing this it creates a 'master' folder in your Program Files(x86)/Konami/Metal Gear Solid V folder. You put it in there as the command prompt windows come up.
