I believe this is the Mystic Monday’s tarot deck! You can get on Amazon
The included book was apparently very minimal. Stuart Kaplan did write a companion book for this deck, which is available cheap on the secondhand market under a few different titles depending on when and where it was published.
Just based on this one card I thought it looked better than this deck. Ended up finding your Kickstarter and Etsy while grabbing the link and... yeh, much better!
it is "The Magic of Tarot" by Liz Dean, you can find it here
The beginner decks mentioned are great and really useful when it comes to leading but also this book o super helpful I’m still learning so I use whenever I do a reading
I had a non-tarot deck of cards made from a very novel material. It STANK of celery for some amount of months, but eventually wore off. So I second the recommendation to just wait
(Cards, in case that's helpful: https://smile.amazon.com/dp/1589781449/)
If he REALLY want to do some work, Mary-El Tarot. Excellent for Shadow Work. Best to get a workbook with it. https://www.amazon.com/MaryEl-Tarot-Marie-White/dp/0764357166
If he like anime, try Shadowland Tarot. https://www.amazon.com/Shadowland-Tarot-Monica-Bodirsky/dp/0764359037
Fate/Flower Tarot currently seems to be sold by every known counterfeiter at absurdly high prices to cash in on fans of the anime, but nowhere else officially.
If I could make a recommendation, however, the Heavenly Bloom Tarot by Noa Ikeda, leans anime but is more lavishly detailed, original and probably has better card stock.
Just got it the other day. Pretty lovely deck overall, though it doesn't stick to RWS imagery consistently. Nice diversity of characters, though!
Fountain Tarot amazon
Judgment is definitely the Transient Light Tarot, Page of Swords is for sure Tarot Of The Divine, both lovely and the former a personal favorite of mine!
Per this Amazon UK listing, the box with the Knight Cups on the front is put out by Muller Agm / Urania Verlag while the purple/lavender box is put out by US Games. I don't have that Muller version (but do have other Muller Thoths), but I would guess it also has copyrights on the card backs like the US Games version does. Both lavender box USG versions I have come with three versions of the Magus. If the pictured deck is one of those, it will say in the lower right corner of the box, which is cut off in the picture.
Find more details and order you can here: https://www.amazon.com/Tarot-Cards-Guide-Book-Beginners/dp/B0B1J4KGQ6/
And if you like it, I would like to share some previews of our next 2 decks, please write your opinion :)
Hi again. That's definitely a standard Rider-Waite-Smith deck by US Games. I suggest you use this Wikipedia article to check if all cards are present. If not, write down which cards are missing.
If many cards are missing or damaged, you can get a new one here on Amazon very cheap. You could try reaching out to the manufacturers to ask for replacement cards, but I don't know if they do this if you never actually bought it from them. It's worth a shot though, I don't really recommend reading with missing cards. This deck is extremely affordable compared to others, so if they won't send replacements you should just get a new one.
Regarding how to use it, go back to r/Tarot and check the sidebar and/or about section. There's a guide for beginners, FAQ, links to resources, etc. If you're willing to pick up a book, I can personally recommend "WTF is Tarot? ...& How do I do it?" by Bakara Wintner, and "Seventy-Eight Degrees of Wisdom: A Book of Tarot" (revised edition) by Rachel Pollack. You can ask on r/Tarot for help, tips and advice anytime, we're always willing to help!
The box in the above image is in that Amazon listing. The cards do not match, they match this listing:
(Kind of a suspicious looking listing if you ask me, but those are the cards.)
Both listings only say "Gold Foil Tarot" on their boxes.
This deck came out in 1996 ???? I’m sure you seen this one but I’m determined to help you find it and I must know..LOL
Maybe your thinking of the Shadowscapes tarot??? It has dragons but I might be pulling at straws … I’m a big collector and I can’t think of a tarot deck with dragons that has a purple back but I feel like I’m on a mission please post if you figure out what it is!!!
The Tarot Art Nouveau deck by Lo Scarabeo was my first tarot deck and it has remained my favorite and most-used deck 6 years later.
Modern Love Tarot (By Ethony) Card on the left is the Hierophant the card on right is 8 of Cups
Awww, this is such a bummer for beginner tarot readers. I still consider myself a beginner, dabbling for around 2 years now. I saw someone suggested Biddy Tarot to help with the meanings of the cards, which I also recommend! If I may suggest a tarot deck for your next deck, I would suggest Crow Tarot. https://www.amazon.com/dp/1572819618/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_i_86NXK0AQ1V67VBRJ3XW1?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
It was my first deck, and I'm so glad I chose this deck. I've collected many more since then, and none quite matched the energy that Crow Tarot had. It just gave me the best readings, most accurate readings for myself and friends. I find the art gorgeous and the booklet wonderfully descriptive and easy to comprehend.
If you wanted a hands on guide, I found this book, "The Modern Witchcraft Book of Tarot" extremely helpful and easy to read. It has meanings for each of the cards upright and reversed, as well as the history of Tarot, symbolism, how to read the cards, basic spreads, a few simple spells, and a lot more.

This is most definitely the Aquarian Tarot by David Palladini. First released in 1970, it's never been out of print. It has that late 60s-early 70s hippie vibe with all the earth tones and psychedelic artwork.
Palladini also did the New Palladini Tarot, which is really Aquarian 2.0. Both are nice decks. I like the Aquarian for public readings as there is absolutely NO nudity of any kind in it, so people have a harder time being offended by it.
I have this deck in English (full size and tin) and Italian. I'm sure it's available in other languages if you look hard enough. Enjoy! This is a great deck for beginners through pros.
Sorry, I forgot to post it. It's the Prime Muse Double Major Tarot deck Published by Golden Age
It's only available now in Amazon Italy not even in Amazon France. Here is the link. https://www.amazon.it/Vampyria-tarot-interdit-Victor-Dixen/dp/B09757C9KC/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?keywords=vampyria+dixen&qid=1636216512&sr=8-1 FYI, a second edition will be available in march or april 2022.
This one I think from the ones I have seen, is most like RWS.
My most beloved would have to be: Ethereal Visions by Matt Hughes (https://www.amazon.com/Ethereal-Visions-Illuminated-Tarot-Deck/dp/1572819251)
Second place would be The Children of Litha by Alexandria Huntington (https://www.behance.net/gallery/76359269/The-Children-of-Litha-Tarot-Deck)
The other two are Mystical Manga Tarot by Rann & Britt's Third Eye Tarot by Britt.
Lovely, lovely decks!
Hi, it's the classic spanish cards in an rounded edition made by one of the biggest manufacturers: fornier
The cards are not hard to find:

as a curiosity they are good, but not very manageable

Hey u/c0ntrerian - I'm happy to say we fixed the Magician based on your feedback and we finally went live on Amazon today: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B093H2JVCZ
Hope you like it and let me know if you have any questions!
Hey u/blackpepper36! I'm so happy and proud that the listing finally went live on Amazon today! You can find it here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B093H2JVCZ
Hope you like it and let me know if you have any questions!
I still reference this book.
But, before beginning this book, look at all the cards and see what your intuition tells you about them first. I believe the Tarot to be a beautiful dance between what your intuition says and what the cards mean.
Happy reading!!!
Have you tried the Neo Tarot? It's gender neutral, colorful, and diverse in ethnicity and body type. It's such a lovely deck to have!
https://www.amazon.com/Neo-Tarot-Approach-Self-Care-Empowerment/dp/1784882372
For a beginner I would definitely recommend starting with a traditional Rider Waite Smith deck. I wish I would have, as that imaginary is typically the basis for other more artistic decks. However, if you're looking for a bit of a modern updated to the traditional imagery, I think the Modern Witch deck is a great alternative!
https://www.amazon.com/dp/1454938684/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_dZ1UFb6HN6NCQ
And for this price. Ya might as well grab the pocket size! Cant beat that!!!! (I own both. But my original deck is over 20+ years old!! And still in great condition. When I got the pocket deck it was actually not printed in China. I have to get the box which I’m not digging off the shelf right now! But it was still a deck printed in- shoot I’m drawing a blank at the moment! lol!) so the kits have the orange box still. The one that’s just the deck does not. Enjoy!!! It’s a fun deck! I’ve always liked it!
Tarot to Go! (Activity Book) (Charming Petites) https://www.amazon.com/dp/0880882492/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_HpLOFbPMQ1WXF
This is ONE link. With the orange box. However I’m not sure of the size of the cards I do believe it MAY be the bigger cards. I’m going to add 2 more amazon links because 2 of them have the orange boxes and the newest one doesnt. I do believe based on this description it is the larger cards

Tarot of the Divine by Yoshitani Yoshi 💖 It's about folklore and fairytales from all around the world 💖
The Hedgewitch Botanical oracle set is my personal favorite. It compares each card to a trait of a certain flower, examples being fern being Growth, marshmallow flower being Adversity, etc. Plus in the guidebook it has some ways you can use the flower and tells little facts about each one.
I love the botanical inspiration deck! The flowers look amazing! https://www.amazon.com/dp/1572818557/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_OyZDFbR7T4ZDD
And then there's this Soulflower Plant Spirit Oracle deck that's in my wishlist! https://mysoulflower.com/collections/oracle-card-deck
It's been on Amazon for a while $45.
Publisher previously came out with a 'Universal Gold Edition' in a silly oversized box for more $$.
They're milking this deck for sure.
I saw it at the Dali Museum in Florida when it originally came in the 90s - cost $100 at the gift shop. Current versions probably have different card stock but it's the same deck. You shouldn't have any trouble ordering it today.
I absolutely love this deck and plan to make it my new one whenever I buy another. This is the amazon link because it’s the first to show up.
