Emotionalism #1, I & Love & You #2, then the rest! I love the Avett Bros obviously, but I'm going to admit to you that it typically takes me a few listens per album to fall in love with the music. They're just that type of music that takes me a few rounds to adjust to.

Also, if you're kind of on a budget & you haven't heard of it yet definitely look into Spotify. They have [almost] all of the Avett Brothers music to explore and figure out which album you love the most. Amazon Digital Music regularly has sales on their music once you decide to take the plunge. ;)
