1. I installed (this CURT 13381 Class 3 Trailer Hitch)[https://www.amazon.com/dp/B075FCVDKB?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share] in about an hour. Tips: (a) it really is a 2-person job. (b) it was hard for me to align the holes. I couldn’t get my second arm under the car while using the other to hold the whole piece in place. Second person would be gold. Or getting the car up off the ground. (c) a paint scraper or something is really useful to scrape some gunk out of the way and get everything in place.

Check out hyperdip, they sell a kit for wheels. I blacked out all the emblems on my car this weekend. Its super easy, but time consuming. I'm in the process of tinting my headlights too. Also, super easy.

This was my only complaint too. Scoping the steering wheel all the way out helps a bit but still not enough. I got this on Amazon after like 6 months and it fit like it was made for the tig. It can be a bit inconvenient when you’re reaching for things around the center but totally worth it.

Hard wire them. Remove the center console and splice in. If you're crafty like that.

Short of that you can clean it up with one of these. It will keep it closer to the console and less apt to get kicked.

I Avent tried these yet but I did buy the wrong similar kind and extra retainer clips that were supposed to work. I've had these in my cart for a while but haven't pulled the trigger yet. Retainer clips built in is the key.

21 SEL 4motion, with 3rd row - great car

We have 2 adults + 2 kids in boosters. It's plenty spacious for going around town, and 3rd row works with boosters when grandparents visit (which is why we got it).

We've taken two longer road trips, and I like it, enough space for the 4 of us and our stuff to be comfortable inside. The tech is very good. The adaptive cruise works nicely, the lane-change detectors are well-calibrated and very visible, the wireless Android Auto and Carplay are well-integrated and easy to use.

The steering is kind of numb to me. I wish we had memory settings on the drivers seat. The center console storage was crappy, so I bought this tray that made it 10x more useful, though it should just be standard on the car. Car-net is good, but a little sluggish sometimes. I wish it could close the sunroof remotely, not just tell you that you left it open.

Nope, just unplug the current light future, and the new LEDs are plug n play. The existing wiring plugs right into the new fixtures.

Hey thanks!! I did 3 coats with the G2 Paint Kit... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004BQ87YK. Hands down I'd recommend that paint. So easy to apply. All I recommend is getting a better brush vs. what comes with the kit. The time was really all in the prep as most know when it comes to painting projects in general.

Tuxmats for the floors. Almost 30% cheaper than most floor mats and they clean up nicely.

Cargo Cover instead of the $149 VW version. Don't fall for the hype on being able to store it. It fits between the seats and rear tire space if you pull the seats forward.

It still uses App-connect to run CarPlay. It’s just a dongle that connects to your phone via Bluetooth so you don’t have to plug the phone in all the time.

You can see the clear looks nice compared to the orange lens and how bright the LED is compared with the original bulb. At night it really is super bright!Definitely a more modern look and I take the added brightness as an additional safety feature. You might like the smoke/black lens depending on your paint/taste.

Install: Simply remove screws (T25 Torx), starting just above the side marker. 3 screws in the wheel well and 1 underneath. Pull (harder than you think) to release the clips and reach your finger behind the liner to press the tab at the top of the side marker lens. Pull off the bulb housing and pull out the bulb. Plug in the LEDs and complete the process in reverse.

Maybe 20 minutes for both sides...in my tight little garage I actually did one side entirely by feel— so easy! Highly recommend...

Sorry for the delay here. You won’t have any problems with the car alarm or anything. That RP4VW11 module from PAC Audio is your data control harness that will integrate with all of the main functions like backup camera if you have it, steering wheel control, and fender audio (if applicable). You would purchase some sort of dash kit from Metra Electronics or Scosche that will adapt to your current radio cavity. Some of the new Kenwoods and pioneer decks have wireless CarPlay so no USB flush mount required for that. Anyways, hope that’s helpful.

I use 303 Aerospace Protectant. It’s a water-based coating, so rain will wash it off eventually. But it gives a nice, satin black look to the trim pieces on cars. It also adds UV protection so the sun doesn’t bake and fade the plastic. You can use it on the interior too if you want. It doesn’t agree with dirty surfaces though, so only apply after a wash or clean the trim first.

IIRC the flashing engine light means "an issue is occurring right now" while the solid light means "there was an issue".

Its entirely possible that you've just sucked some, crap into the fuel line which caused the stutter/misfire because you were really close to empty, but it cleared itself through.

It's possible that your tank itself was actually empty and you were running on what remains in the fuels system, so sucked air into the fuel line. You fill up, get back on the road, the air bubble gets to the injectors and spaffs air into the cylinders, making a less than optimal air/air fuel ratio and the engine stutter, thyen the fuel starts to flow again and all's right with the world except the check engine light.

Maybe order yourself a cheap bluetooth ODBC connector from Amazon or eBay, get a copy of Torque and investigate the error for yourself.

It will likely say something like "code P0304, cylinder number four is misfiring" (P030x are misfire codes, with the X denoting the cylinder number) or "code P0203, problem with cylinder 3 injector" (similarly, P020x are injector error codes). Most times, with one of these code, you can clear it and see if it comes back, which is pretty much what the dealer will do anyway.
