There are ways of doing it but you need a GOOD vpn! NordVPN or expressVPN are 2 of the best for Tiktok. Free VPNs are the not the best really.
If you have a Apple phone you can change the region while using a VPN to say the US and download the app there. Similar with an android, the app store you need to make a new account with your VPN switched on this will automatically take you to the US store or whichever country you've chosen on your VPN.
I use no-watermark downloader to backup all my TikTok videos and I found that it downloaded my videos with the sound intact where the sound had been removed. The sound is coded within the video, so TikTok doesn't remove it so much as they mute it.
I've tested this where sound has been removed due to no longer being available in my country and for sounds that were just outright removed and no longer exist. It also works if you save the video straight from TiKtok (I just don't like watermarks).
App is here, if you're interested. Not sure if it's also available for IOS but I imagine there's some similar apps out there.

Hi, same problem we changed to NordVPN with their NordLynx thing which promises better speeds and our quality improved a lot, so for us it was definetly the old VPN and internet speeds fault, there is also a filter that improves quality (I have no idea what its called but its not hard to find)
Also, I personally believe TikTok allocates bandwidth unevenly to creators cause big ones always have the best HD videos so yeah, shitty practices from a shitty company
I doubt it has something to do with NordVPN. Most likely it is an error within TikTok. In answer to your new topic: some people say a VPN has a negative effect on your TikTok account and others say it doesn't. Nobody knows for sure. As long as you always use the same country and city the algorithm won't be confused and everything should be fine.
No. It does have a so-called "kill switch", which means that when it loses connection (tends to happen with VPN's) it will shut down your internet connection so your own IP will not be shown to whatever site you're using. Very handy. NordVPN is top notch in my opinion.
Hey this doesn't work with eSim. I have bought an eSim for saudi arabia but because I'm using it in the UK it registers to the nearest network even after connecting to Saudi Arabia through NordVPN. Any suggestions?
Hi, yeah almostisntenough's no sim, VPN, turn off location/cloud services suggestion is still working! Just make sure your tiktok isn't linked to any existing social media that might reveal your location.
I use NordVPN
I've tried VPNs like NordVPN and ExpressVPN on the mobile and on the laptop. I got the most of the views at the beginning from US what was great (it is my target and I'm in Spain). But I believe it was just luck because using the VPN on the laptop I got a message from TikTok that server was not trusted. Looking at my other videos (17 in three days) on the ones that I've analytics it shows all European countries. Also viewing my 'For you' side they are most from Spain. So it seems not to work. Will follow you with the hope there is a solution...
If you're still looking for an alternative, Buffer will be launching a new tool called Start Page this September.
Start Page is an online home for your brand where you can showcase the things that matter to your audience the most. It’s a simple, beautiful, flexible page that you can put together in minutes, update in seconds, and share across your social profiles.
Plus, it's completely free, which makes it a great choice for musicians that might not have the budget to create their own website.
If you'd like to get early access to Start Page before we launch it publicly, you can register here. Anyone that registers will have early access to the tool and will be the first to know when it will be shared publicly.
Hope you love it!
Did you still get recommendations from people in your country on your FYP? Because I still do even though I use a VPN and it bothers me. Makes me feel like my VPN is not working. I'm facing the same situation and whenever I'm about to post content I turn on a VPN (I use Betternet or Velocity), head to Google to use an IP checker and it usually says I'm in the US, then I go to funimation for good measure because it's not available in my country and when it works then I know the VPN works. But after a few days after the analytics come in I notice my international views are high but after a while with VPN off they return to being heavily from my country. Please help, is tiktok immune to VPNs?
