I got into UFOlogy because of the Hudson Valley sightings. A close friend told me about a friend of his, who he said was very trustworthy, who was one of hundreds who saw a huge craft, "plain as day" in Hudson Valley. I was dumb struck. I had never given much thought to UFOs and had just assumed it was all nonsense. But my friend is very level headed (Harvard physics guy, VP eng / chief architect at a few successful startups) so I was intrigued, and went down the rabbit hole.
This is his cheeseball home video ("Tri-Dot Productions") that he sold at UFO conferences. Driving around in his little car trying to look badass, truly UFOlogy's #1 Cringe.
He literally licensed this to Amazon Prime, you can watch the whole cringetastic thing: https://www.amazon.com/UFOs-Area-51-Excerpts-Government/dp/B074PBG8VB This was Lazar trying every possible way to cash in. He even got Testor to make a model kit of his flying saucer. Champion huckster.

Does that help? Is that what you’re looking for? Unfortunately it’s up to ufologists to find and compile the data ourselves. Maybe some of us should link together and plot data points and sightings onto google maps? A visual aid would be a lot of help.

Not sure what these links have to do with The NY Times reporting of the (apparently extremely watered down) Pentagon UAP report, but enjoyed digging through these links.
I'd like to brush up on my Spanish so I can read this (was mentioned in one of the UFO Mag articles you linked):

I'm currently reading The Cryptoterrestrials by Mac Tonnies because Hal Puthoff referenced it in his 'shadow biosphere' paper. I'm only 18 pages in but it's a quick read. Basically the idea is that since the only planet we know of that presently has life on it is Earth, it's MUCH more likely that any other intelligence we'd run into would come from here, so what we should be looking for is another intelligence that evolved prior or parallel to our own and took a different technological development pathway. He goes on to speculate that the notion that aliens are from space is likely a ploy designed to keep us looking in the wrong place. The idea is that this 'other' race isn't as powerful as we suspect they are, they just have slightly more advanced technology, so much of what they do is 'dazzle' us to make us think they're more powerful. Wizard of Oz.
I just found it through a google search.
There rarely are depictions online of other beings than Greys but they are out there if you look hard enough. I also have a paperback of many alien species I got on amazon... I should prolly rip it apart and scan it to post online (pictures anyways).

When Gilda Toby Ganezer and I (Avery Ganezer) created our 700+ page book (UFO 101: A Visual Reference for Beginners), we wrote a whole chapter on unclassified documents via FOIA (Freedom of Information Act) covering topics on UFOs among the United States government.
We found a “smoking gun” memorandum that we would like to share with you from V.P. Keay to Mr. Belmont on October 27, 1952 regarding… “FLYING SAUCERS”… Let us reiterate the memo’s synopsis:
“Air intelligence advised of another creditable and unexplainable sighting of flying saucers. Air intelligence still feels flying saucers are optical illusions or atmospherical phenomena but some Military officials are seriously considering the possibility of interplanetary ships.”
We are not surprised as we appreciate the candor among some officials.
Again, as Deaf authors and researchers, it was quite difficult for us to overcome language and cultural barriers but with perseverance and determination, we were able to put together over 700 color pages of research work on UFOs. Thank you for letting us share some of our work with you via Reddit! Your support of our work truly, truly appreciated!

The Uruguayan ufologist Fabio Zerpa (resident in Argentina since 1951 , died in 2019 ) tells in his book Benjamín Solari Parravicini: el Nostradamus de América that the artist claimed that an extraterrestrial ship He had kidnapped him while he was sitting on a bench on the sidewalk of 9 de Julio Avenue (in the heart of Buenos Aires), when two beings with whitish eyes approached him. An enormous light enveloped them until they were transported to a circular room, with luminous panels and a central tube in which the individuals moved. One of them approached him and speaking telepathically in groups of three words in Spanish told him: «You must preach love. Universe is harmony. We are watching them. His behavior is aggressive. We have many chosen ones. We will meet again." Parravicini appeared on the same bench more than three hours later, at 6:40 p.m. WikiSource
I'd really like to the what is apparently the only book written about him and his abduction, but it is only published in Spanish and there are still zero copies on Amazon or anywhere else.

Oh shit, if you didn't then start going to https://www.epicgames.com/store/en-US/ every single Thursday. There are 4 or 5 free games you can redeem there right now. You should definitely do it, I've built up a collection of over 3 grand in free games in the last year and a half they've been doing this. It's ridiculous really.
Not an author, but Where Did The Road Go? (https://castbox.fm/va/4726) is a phenomenal podcast that goes in depth into these ideas and investigates the link between all things paranormal (cryptids, UFOs, ghosts, etc). The present some great ideas and theories, and many of the people on the show are authors themselves who write on the topic
> Jung did not believe UFOs were objectively real, but rather reflected mythic and archetypal content.
Ditto for me, that's why I did not subscribe to this sub, I was asked to participate by another user.

Was thinking this same thing the other day while reading SETI's recent headline about how aliens don't exist (despite the evidence to the contrary). If alien civilizations are revealed have been here all the time, then a lot of hard-working scientists/debunkers are going to be reveled to be wrong all along, thus they have the most to lose and will have the most provocative headlines.
I also agree with Nye's assessment that the leaked military photos are actually ARVs (alien reproduction vehicles) built by secret black box military tech. Which is also cool & interesting.
Have been reading Ardy Sixkiller Clarke's travels among the Maya (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07J1K8XP4/ref=dbs_a_def_rwt_hsch_vapi_tkin_p1_i0). Strongly recommend.
Have been thinking a lot lately about how we can be making it easier for the folks at SETI and other historically critical scientific orgs to accept that they may be incorrect, and to be more open-minded and open-hearted about this subject.
It's ok, we can move on from our 20th-century prejudices now and embrace the more beautiful world that our hearts know is possible, to quote Charles Eisenstein. That sort of thing.
Personally, I'm excited to embrace our Star Trek future & healthier societies that result in lush, thriving worlds of bountiful ecologies where all are fed and all are taken care of.

They're not. There's an entire (well-written and well-researched) book on Triangular UFOs. In fact, in some databanks triangular UFOs have a higher report count than traditional saucer / elliptical.

A flying disc was not understood to necessarily be a spacecraft at the time, but possibly a probe, or some other mysterious thing that flew. There was no connotation at the time of it being a vessel that would be able to carry a being. That interpretation of the phrase developed later through the 50s and 60s. Another "flying disc" was reported to the media found just before Roswell and measurements are given which would make it about the size of a car wheel/tyre. This one had a return tag to a US General on it. This is officially recorded and released military data from the time. Imo, Major Marcel released the statement, because he's worded it to insinuate that the debris is his, and he is "lending" it to another army air base for investigation. If it was a craft capable of carrying occupants, or even with occupant bodies, he would not have had an expectation that he'd be allowed to claim and keep this debris. I explain this and loads more in my book, UFOs: A Fundamental Truth by Anna Whitty. You can download it here if interested: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B08R7GCZLM

There are academics and ministers who see this differently. Alien Encounters
We have to get more info on the man that witnessed him being 'beamed' up the craft. Strange fact is that they found Todd on a spot where they had already been searching.
