Try this app. Go to exercises>Dry eyes. And do those exercises morning and night.
Also, blink once for every 3 sec. Due to screens we tend to forget blinking and irritated sclera form in the eye.
Try taking foods that have vitamin A(carrot(2) and green leafs) and omega 3(walnuts(3), fish) daily.
Don’t know about the coaching institutes but there is a book by CSE AIR 53 Manuj Jindal Sir named “The Kick A** Craft of Answer Writing” which generally guides you in a essay writting and Mains writting ways and i found that book helpful, you can give it a try.
Doing this will only make you go crazy. Your mind is not made to just consume monotonous things that why there's a term called as "Break" Please don't do this and hamper your mental health.
There are other ways of restricting your usage of gadgets. I personally use Block app while studying. I just assign my timings and the apps to be blocked and ret during my studies neither I get any notifications nor any urge to check.
For desktop/laptop you can use Cold Turkey It acts the same way like the above app. Just assign which all websites you won't visit along with timings and you are good to go.
Moreover people on Tedtalks or anywhere, where they are just telling to get extreme with non-usage of phones and all, just exaggerates things. Telling you from my experience, my mental health went more into rut. Don't do this please.
If you want to take digital detox you can go for hiking or take a short breakand visit a place or you can also go to meditation centres I think it's called Osho vision.
Please take care of your health especially mental health.
Yeah…self study history is a bit cumbersome for Maps. I enrolled for a dedicated Map session with Ahlawat sir post Prelims 2021. But…in my view…there is a wonderful book too. Map Entries for History optional by Ranjan Singh and Rashid Yasin. Practice sites from this book everyday for 30-45 minutes and you will find yourself comfortable dealing with sites asked by UPSC. Also please practise sites from Previous Year Papers. A few sites invariably repeat. Also try to be innovative in your approach towards the 25-30 word explanation for sites. A standard approach will fetch you standard marks. You have to be different to fetch more than others. Here is the link for the Map book :
Worse here. But I will give you a solution that works 99%, in exchange for one and one thing only -
That one thing -
You will let this go. The resentment. The hate for the whole situation. I don't mind even if this takes a few days.
Why this one thing? If you don't let it go, it will run in your mind even if you were in the most peaceful place on earth.
= COMPLETE WASTE of your time

It's great you're practicing with time, that's important! score yourself regularly as you've been doing. there's books that come with explanations and solutions that i've been using for csat. I also have more trouble with the math q's so I found those helpful. i reco this one. dont stress yourself too much; you really just need at least 33% :) good luck, pal

Hey!
I am Karan. I came across your post looking for accountability partners. We built a platform, Ekam, exactly for this problem!
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ekamfocus.ekamflutter
Ekam connects you with a fellow aspirant for a 1 hour study session. You share your goals at the beginning, and evaluate your progress at the end. You can schedule as many sessions as you like.
It is much easier to focus when you know you will soon be answerable to someone.
I hope you find the platform useful!
Best,
Karan

Appreciate this initiative. General Awareness (GA) is the most scoring section of the SSC CGL Tier I Exam. There's no need to remember any formula or rules to solve the GA section. Check out https://reddit.com/r/UPSCPractice and also download the UPSC Practice Mobile App at https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.upscpractice.app for all-round learning.
I'm too preparing without coaching and I'd recommend you to see Vikas Divyakirti Sir videos on YouTube for guidance and clarity over exam. My suggestion would be read NCERTs like a story book first then make your own notes from ch 1 again.. I do this mainly for history and geography. and must not forget to do this for 6 to 12th ncerts for history, geography. 9th/10th - 12th for Political All ncerts of Economics. and for the rest of the subjects as per your conviction.
