are you near a major city? meetup.com has a stupid number of groups that is like having the keys to Disney land when it comes to finding people to network with. The active groups meetup likely once a week, some once a month. I've met with one "free-thinker" group for things like bowling or beach bbqs but it is an OUTSTANDING way to find potential job leads outside your circles.
No experience with them but it looks like they charge (I couldn’t see how much). I don’t know, you may want to try blogs like askamanager.org first since that’s free and she has sections with cover letter examples (you shouldn’t use a template), resume advice, interview advice, follow up advice etc.
My personal bias is I’m hesitant to pay for services like that because they prey on desperate people to make a buck. It looks like they’ve been around since at least 2017 so it’s suspect that they don’t have more reviews etc. https://www.trustpilot.com/review/www.workitdaily.com
There is a wealth of free info out there. Good luck!
Unemployment Neurosis IS a thing.
So, hang in there and try to upgrade your skills in the meantime.
You're not alone.
Plus, OP is pretty damn smart with a Math degree and a full stack dev course under her belt - which leads me to believe the problem might be her Resume.
If that's the case, read a book called Get Hired (it's by the guy who founded Zip Recruiter) and adjust your resume accordingly.
Sending ya'll ❤❤❤❤
Hugs, you will get something. Don't give up on yourself.
Keep applying, and also try to reach out more via linkedin and email.
If you're a copy writer and you don't have a blog or some kind of online presence, start one. Also a one page personal website if you haven't got one.
Carrd.co is good for that sort of thing.
https://youtu.be/-28pQc9SDO0 This video REALLY helped me before I starting working at my first job after 4 years unemployment. I take medicine for anxiety these days and will also start zoloft soon too. I go back and rewatch this video and others from her when I'm having a low confidence day and it gives me the reminder and mindset I need.
I also am slowly and thoughtfully working through this confidence book! I highly recommend if if you enjoy pondering and writing out your thoughts like I do. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07HQ5SSZ1/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_EV882BMVWG6NP40809CQ
