I'd go with the iPhone 6/6+. I'm not an Apple fanboy (I like em', but am equally as happy with Android...a predication so I don't get jumped by anti-Apple fanboy, fanboys, haha), but Apple hardware does trade like bearer bonds, and their ability to maintain resale value is nearly unmatched.
Here's a link if it helps...it lists the carriers where the iPhone 6/6+ should support 4G LTE.

I'm going to take this moment to tell people that the Android app Automatic Call Recorder works beautifully. It is able to record both me and the person I am talking to with great clarity. I suggest anyone using an Android phone at least try it out before talking with Verizon reps, and use it to record conversations with them.
If you mean the flip phone, there isn't much that can be done besides recording the conversation with a computer microphone or something. If you mean the smartphone, maybe try the Automatic Call Recorder. It works really well for me, but I am on Android 5.0, and I don't think the RAZR smartphone is.
Felt the same way about hue bulbs since I first saw them when they came out. Really glad to have them and I've been enjoying different scenes for different things like watching tv, or if I'm in bed winding down. You can hook your nest in with iFTTT to turn on the bulbs for various things. I had mine blink red if the house got too hot.
