China welcome to privacy!
Aight so moons are a crypto coin you get directly from reddit for getting upvotes in /r/CryptoCurrency which are distributed every 4 weeks. You need ~5 upvotes per moon and capped supply is 250mil but only around 200mil will be in circulation due to burning/losing access. Right now ~70mil are in circulation and the price for one moon is ~$0.18, which means the market cap is only around $15mil or so.
Reddit also receives 40% of all moons which makes me believe that reddit would do anything for moons to rise to high value so that they themselves can make a lot of money. If moons were to reach $10 the market cap would 'only' be $2.5bil which would make it a Top 50 crypto which is very much doable in my opinion, especially since it's an official crypto by reddit itself which could create another Doge/GME type situation in which everyone would want to get into the crypto game to make a quick buck and I'm prepared for that.
Thing is, moons are still on an ethereum testnet and are not allowed to be sold or traded according to reddit, however they're working on bringing moons to the official ethereum mainnet which would also make moons available on big exchanges such as Kraken, which already has setup a page for moons. You can still buy moons on websites such as http://celesti.trade which is where I get my moons on a weekly basis.
Even if moons reach $1 that's already an easy x5 but I'm pretty certain $10 could happen some day :)
Sorry for the lousy summary but I don't have much time lately so I had to write this rather quickly.
Yeah, I've been holding for a while, and I'm very cozy. We dipped when all the altcoins crashed a while ago, but the thing about PRQ is that it's never really had a pump, the market cap is so low. This is all still at the bottom. The project is extremely promising, when we get a major exchange listing it's going to rocket, and it's really looking like that's on the way. Actually I should probably have said more about that in the DD
ETH is definitely more relevant than Bitcoin, but I think long term ETH holders are going to be let down. 2.0 needs to come out soon and it needs to lower the gas prices down to pennies if ETH wants to remain on top and I don't see that happening. Then again, I'm not an expert on ETH really.
I should have taken NKN more seriously earlier but do look into PRQ. The technology is really incredible.
Ethereum is not beaten by superior techs as it already has the majority of tokens being developed on its blockchain. I was a big fan of Algo but nobody builds on Algorand with few exceptions. Algo has superior tech but there’s no adoption. Not comparable to Ethereum by miles. Ethereum is also evolving into 2.0 so there’s really no worry there about it being obsolete.
Bitcoin on the other hand is already obsolete and very slow. Lightening still is not dependable and it’s a centralized solution which defeats the whole of Bitcoin.
Small cap coins that are worth investing are hard to find. But they are there. I will look into PRQ and NKN although I remember dismissing NKN before.
Both are stupid. BTC and ETH are being beaten out by superior tech and they already have massive valuations. Shitcoins are the opposite, room to grow but no credibility. You should be loading up on credible projects with unique (and important) technology that have moderately small market caps, then holding those for years. PRQ and NKN are my main holds but there are many good options.
Haha. No joke, several years ago when I was trading Forex, I had a Magic 8 ball I would shake before a trade. Anyone remember those? (I didn't pay attention to its results but it was fun to ask for giggles). https://www.amazon.com/Mattel-Fortune-Telling-Teller-Original/dp/B019K1XZ1U/ref=sr_1_2?keywords=lucky+8+ball&qid=1647576738&sr=8-2

Yes. The market cap isn't even 100m. It's not about prices or percentages, it's about the fundamentals and value of a project compared to its current market cap. That is, if you're investing long term rather than gambling.
Even if you want to short-term gamble, yes there are a lot of good things going for PRQ right now and I think we'll hit $5 by the end of the year.
I respect your opinion, but heavily disagree, although I do think you'll do moderately well in general investing terms just holding legacy coins such as BTC. You'll probably beat the stock market easily.
Crypto/Blockchain technology has many more applications than just as a currency, for one thing, and even as currencies there are projects that are faster, more efficient, less expensive, etc. than BTC. As crypto expands, assets will be seen with greater and greater understanding and with an institutional eye, instead of ground-level perspectives, which is what I think the "BTC only" view stems from.
It's true that investing in projects that just act as yet another currency and hoping that project comes out on top is usually foolish, but investing in projects that present unique and practically useful technology is, in my opinion, the smart move.
Think about NKN. I know people who have held it for ages for this reason, and it's recently paid off as more and more attention is being drawn to it's unique technology, using held crypto as processing nodes for a... New Kind of Networking. NKN is wicked fast and hosts a number of true privacy services uniquely, it's a refuge if something went wrong with the conventional internet, etc. It's a smart long term hold, not just another player in the currency rat race, although it does the currency aspect incredibly efficiently, far more so than BTC.
That's why I'm shilling PRQ here, it's a similar case in my opinion. Many things will die off, but good, necessary tech will win.
PRQ is a Blockchain antagonistic tool, it is important technology for many projects and has no reason to create its own exclusive network. PRQ isn't trying to simply compete with and rise to the top among other currency projects.
Uniswap is for ETH and ERC-20 tokens only. You can go that route, but be prepared to pay for high gas fees. Here's what you should do: get the Strike app and use it to send BTC to Binance. Trade the BTC for BNB. Use Binance smart chain to buy PRQ on Pancake swap. Super low fees on both Strike and Binance
No, obviously it wasn't explicitly stated, but it's clearly forthcoming; They've stated they applied for it, and the CEO previously held an important position at binance and understands the binance listing process very well.
That, and to get more in-depth PRQ had an issue with token governance that was making it difficult to get exchange listings, which they've now fixed. There's at least a very high likelihood of a listing coming soon.
You aren't understanding. The project is still in its infancy, the market cap has never been significantly high. You're talking about large percentages in the context of a small cap that easily fluctuates for that reason. You are absolutely early, now, MAYBE you could have gotten in at a penny when no one knew about PRQ except murcko basically but that's not realistic. I understand we went to $2 once briefly, but when PRQ hits a low-medium level market cap that will put it at about $10. Get it? Everything you're discussing is activity at the floor.
And I'm not down home boy, I'm up, and still holding happily.

Get it. Use it. Currently 5.5%APY for staking in the wallet and ease of use for participating in governance once it kicks in 10/1/21. Governance participation rewards can be higher than the staking rewards and in the beginning, you can get both.
It’s the easiest and best way to hold and grow your Algo.
Then look up Yieldly and their no loss lottery.

Obviously yes, I hold link, although you can't go all in on link and really make it at this point. You should've listened years ago before the market cap was this high. If you want something with an equally bright future and equally good tech with a lower market cap, go into PRQ. I think PRQ will reach $50-100 within five years.
