That's actually a pretty great solution. I just finished some backend stuff (codes are now linked to games via igdb and games can contain multiple codes). Implementing code manamegement into the site and opening up the submission form to non-users is next on my list!
Thank you for the detailed report. Like you suspected, the RGB colors are saved in a R3G3B2 encoding. This is something that was born because we wanted to save multiple profiles on the keyboard on a limited EEPROM.
I agree that the representation in the Wootility is not good right now (and potentially misleading). It's something that is high on our list of improvements. I'm currently thinking about three solutions for this problem:
I currently leaning more towards option 1, because I think a good 1 byte encoding should be enough for a single RGB LED on a keyboard. Right now there are a lot of "bits" wasted (i.e. 00000011 == 00000010, but a different brightness). I'm thinking about a system that will just split a color wheel into different sectors, with each sector having 3 intensities. Kind of like a HSL system, but optimized for RGB LED's.
I'm very curious if you have any thoughts to add. Thank you for the detailed report. (And sticking to the format lol)
Pretty cool but id imagine from an ethical point of view its not right to be scanning a users desktop etc, you can suggest something on the trello here. https://trello.com/b/NpKEdAgB/wooting-roadmap
You can't get OUR French keycaps anywhere, because they simply aren't ready yet. However I've located some alternative keycaps that fit our 60HE boards from third party companies. The first link is Corsair's PBT Pro keycaps, which are very similar to our own offerings. They come in a few colour variants if you want something different than black.
The second set are "pudding" style, where the bottom half of the keycap is transparent, giving them a different look when LEDs are shining.

If you just want something simple you could get the HyperX pudding caps off of Amazon (or other retailers). You can find different UK layout caps on Amazon but it can be a little trickier as you'll find many that aren't compatible or even some that say they are but in reality, they aren't. You can also find various options on Overclockers UK. There will be many other options but if you just want something simple and straight-forward, then that's where I'd go.

We do make UK layout keycaps but they're all sold out right now, we do have new ones on the way but I'm not certain when they're set to arrive
Another wfh person here. Interested to see suggestions.
I got this one, but just as something that supported display port and didn't cost $200+.
Works fine. I haven't done any latency testing and don't know how.
yes. Autohotkey would be the standard answer, but MS powertoys (https://github.com/microsoft/PowerToys) recently added 'Keyboard Manager', in which you can remap 'Win (Right)' to 'Menu' - seems to work for me (thanks for the idea)
This was a single set, and was surprisingly cheap, at $30 for the set. I'm no expert on mechanical keyboards, but these look and feel great, especially for the price. It was shipped from Shenzhen though, and took from November 11 to December 5 to be delivered.

Thanks again for the response.
> This phenomenon significantly increased or started once using third party keycaps ?
Truth be told, I bought the keycaps while waiting for the board to ship, so I've never used the original caps with it. I plan to test them to compare though - I should be able to swap them back in the next couple days to verify though.

Certainly - I used these HK Gaming Doubleshot PBT Pudding Keycaps.

Any extra noise caused by springs, lube, or resonance aren't really on my radar currently - I only referenced that as people had used a lubricant - and I was curious if a similar fix could be applied to the stems in my instance. I'm not concerned with noise currently, and if it becomes an issue in the future, there are at least a few threads existing with solutions currently that I could follow - but I do appreciate the insight there.

Nope, I don't have a Wooting two since i don't have the numpad. This is what i got it from Amazon.
I really like the simplistic design language going on. But what if the keyboard design could be slightly altered to something like this?(https://www.amazon.com/Orion-Spectrum-Mechanical-Gaming-Keyboard/dp/B01BBKYM3I/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1528406681&sr=8-3&keywords=logitech+g810) If the Wooting two could add the media control buttons, like pause stop and skip, the mute button and volume wheel, it would be my all time favorite keyboard. This probably won't happen, but if it did that would be amazing. Hopefully someone agrees with me
