Not all team members are anonymous though. Check out the linkedin or go to the blog page. Borz and CCR have maintained consistently that they want to retain at least some level of anonymity.
As a team member I wish it were as easy as most of the community wants. Of course it would be ease investors minds when you put a face to a project. It wasn't all that long ago, a couple years really, that no one in the crypto space cared about who was working on the project.
Once more traditional type investors and people new to crypto, and starting seeing all these ICO's last summer during the huge run up . . the dynamic shifted dramatically, and maybe its a matter of the change in the nuance of the average crypto investor, rather than the project themselves.

Again, I understand. But members of the team are quite active in Discord. (There are a lot of us)
We respect the right to privacy. Anyone is able to come public whenever they wish. We are actively seeking a business development manager and a CEO, and our copy/blog manager is a public speaker.

We are aware that a much more public face would instill investor confidence. Believe me when I say that I wish we could overcome all these hurdles now and move on. XBY has never been a typical project, it's just not the XBY way ;)
But posts like this help myself and the team (because I bring back what is said here) so it's good to have people offering constructive criticism.
