>I'm not going to fix YouTube Center for the new YouTube layout.
>I should probably elaborate on why I'm not going to fix YouTube Center for the new design. The reason is that almost all of the UI features (resize, buttons, like/dislike, comment flags, etc) will need to be redesigned/refactored. I made a couple of wrong decisions when I developed the current YouTube Center. The first and foremost pressing issue is that it's all contained inside a single file. This made it a lot harder to maintain YouTube Center as it grew. However, it made it a bit faster to test as you didn't need to concatenate the files. Another issue is the performance of the current YouTube Center. It's probably not noticeable in most cases. However, it's still an issue that needs to be resolved.
>In conclusion due to having to remake some of YouTube Center to make it work with the new YouTube design I decide I would rather continue on my "remake YouTube Center completely" project aka. MaiaYT.
> As of many of you know. I have not been actively developing on YouTube Center and there's a good reason for that. I have acquired a full time job, which leaves not much time for development.
However, if a major bug occurs, because of some change in YouTube. I will try to fix it in a relatively small time frame.

He just updated the developer version to build 549, all fixed.
The button overlap seems to be partial fixed. The issue is fixed for me, however, it's not fixed for another user in https://github.com/YePpHa/YouTubeCenter/issues/2352.
Edit: Found the issue. Should be fixed in v546.
I reported the issue on GitHub already. The short version is that the developer's certification for Safari expired, and he's working on getting another one from Apple.
But where can I find it? I've been looking for an updated version in the "developer version" page, but it only shows the 2.1.7 one, which is the one I already have.
I would recommend you to try the developer version.
I have also added a sticky post on this subreddit with some details about the current developer version, which you can find here.
>until/unless /u/YePpHa updates.
Which he won't. All is not lost, though, he's working on a new userscript.
In the YoutubeCenter options disable the 'embed' option.
For the broken script on the youtube site I fixed it following CollinChaffins guide (on chrome).
Thank you.
Just switched over and the difference in page load times is astounding. Videos also no longer delay on start and all the issues with the damn thing are gone.
Unfortunately, it lacks the ability to change the video render mode which was very useful as I still use Flash due to using Pale Moon, and the lack of quality/ratings on thumbnails is a bummer, and not having a static header really sucks as it cuts off a big chunk of the available page, but, I'm willing to give them up as the prevent autoplay feature actually works, and works well. Edit: Due to CDN issues (with my ISP?) it's a bitch, but oh well. It's made for HTML5 too so I have to keep resetting the video player size on every browser start.
Now I just need that annoying white bar below the player gone, conflicts with my black theme, ugh!
Still quadrupling Firefox's memory usage on startup (1.6GB peak, drops back down to ~400MB on finalization). Takes 70MB more memory over 2.1.7 too when loaded. #1005
Prevent auto-play still not working in flash most of the time. #1116
It's been many months since I reported these issues.
I can't say I see a difference between the latest developer version (501) and the old 2.1.7 on Firefox/Pale Moon using Flash. Maybe I'll switch to it on Chrome (used solely for 60FPS videos), but the majority of my video consumption is still on FF/PM.
Reverting back again due to the incredibly increased memory usage.

I'm using the greasemonkey script, developer version.
I'm not sure if the options are the same for the addon version
