Breakbarrel is something I’m concerned about her being able to perform reliably. How easy is it to prime, and how is it pressurized?

My dad is insisting I go for the Sig ASP20, which isn’t too far off from the R7. How do the two compare, aside from ease of use and FPS?

It takes a lot of hard pumps to get to 2,500 psi (what I use for my Benjamin Armada 22 rifle). It's a serious workout!

I've been pretty pleased with my Beeman QB-78D once I upgraded all of the seals. Off the line, the seals are junk and it doesn't hold CO2. $15 in replacement seals and a little grunt work to take it apart (there are plenty of youtube guides) and it's a great little plinker. No idea what the fps is.

Make sure to use silicone chamber oil for lubing the chamber and not a petroleum based lube. Your manual will suggest which one to use, which will likely be the Crosman brand one.

I think that optic may be overkill, perhaps I’m looking at the wrong one.

I’ll look around for things I can mount to an 11mm dovetail, I’ll probably find something that’ll suffice. Worst case scenario I’ll just grab a picatinny adapter and throw on a holosun optic.

What specs do I need for the compressor? I’ve found this which seems to suffice for what’d be required.
