> An official app / program for desktop. The web app works great but I dislike having yet another tab open.
I'd rather have a proper 3rd party API, that would allow your library to be integrated in your favorite player (Clementine) and many other cool things.
This is a great script. Thank you!
One issue I am having with it is in regard to "Liked" songs that were liked on a station that has since been deleted.
The script interprets the "Like" and associates it with the station, based on the data available at http://www.pandora.com/content/tracklikes it then will created a new playlist on Google Music.
Is there anyway to have it check whether or not the liked song belongs to a Pandora Station(a live/current station), if it does match it to the playlist on google music, if it does not just put it into the "Pandora" liked playlist on Google Music without creating a new seperate playlist.
The app Sleep as Android has an option to add playlists. I haven't used the app in a while, but I know the option is there to add playlists and have the ability to shuffle them.
This is the first of a series of playlists I intend to make. I take a classic hip hop album, and add all the songs that were sampled for each track, and then the track itself.
Using whosampled.com to get samples
I pulled the listing from what-song.com
I did not add "Higher" or "Missing You" because while they work great in the context of the movie, they don't fit with the "party mix" theme of the rest of the music. (EDIT: Also removed "Too Hard")
Some of the songs listed are not on All Access.
Some songs have multiple versions (remix, featured artist, radio edit, greatest hits, etc.) so I tried to get the correct one, but I couldn't be sure on all of them unless I went back and watched the movie again while playing through this playlist. Please let me know if you notice anything being the wrong version.
I used this list since it seemed the most up to date. As expected, there's a couple songs that aren't available on Google Play. I'll update the playlist as the last two episodes air.
I just started using this third party program for Windows and so far it hasn't buffered once! It's not perfect, I'd much prefer the normal site to work since I use some great Chrome extensions for it like Music Bubbles, but at least this works!
Okay I checked and it seems that since Google never released Play Music API's that Sleep as Android can only bring up the playlists but cannot play them. You can copy the mp3s you downloaded and make a local playlist like OP said if you wish.
I also found another solution that I just tried out and it seems to work. I used an app called Automate and this script which will read your notifications to see when Sleep As Android alarm goes off and will play the most recent audio you were listening to, which means that you have to run GMP with the playlist you wish to use then leave it open while you sleep. When the SAA alarm goes off it will automatically resume what you were listening too.
This was just a quick google, so I assume there is other scripts out there written for apps like Automate and Tasker that allow you to resume play on something you were listening to with the default alarm app instead of using SAA.
Was disappointed to Android version didn't include the banging 80s hits of the PS2/PSP version so I copied over the playlist.
edit: and even more disappointed to find out the game doesn't work at all without hacking the APK or something.
This works only with Spotify and Youtube but the developer said GPM is his primordial objective once Google relases a GPM API.

Yeah its is weird. I contacted Google's support about this a while back and was told that this feature is only available in 3 countries if my memory doesn't lie to me, they are USA, Canada and the UK.
Also the most irritating thing which caused me to contact them is the fact which is still true to this day, they are advertising this feature in the Play Store in the app's screenshots yet again it is a region based feature for only 3 countries.
if you want to also scrobble on your android device i would suggest this app. I've been using it for over a year now. The UI is kinda ugly and old, but you only look at it once when setting it up and sometimes to check to see that its working (at least i do) https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.adam.aslfms
