I got mine on eBay that was already used with some shitty baseball cards in it for $25 shipped, new ones are on eBay for 70 but amazon appears to have them a lot cheaper. Might be able to find a used one on eBay for cheaper but I just looked and didn’t see anything. Would definitely recommend, it comes with the plastic cases for each card. Looks very clean, I’m sure I’ll end up needing another one at some point

The main difference between the two is the top, one is on a hinge, the other you can completely take off. The fit is a little snug for graded cards, especially the wider slabs like SGC and HGA, and when you use team bags it makes it even more snug. Probably makes it good for carrying around, but slightly annoying for quickly taking them in and out.

That’s a lot of questions. I can’t help you much on the flipping part, but I can help on the storage. I put my good cards in a penny sleeve and top loader. Then I put them in a 4 row storage box (link below). I find it to be the easiest way to organize and keep track of everything.
These are what I have been using for jersey cards. Works great, and they still slide into a top loader case. For the top loaders, the best thing to do is just start buying the different sizes/points. If you have all the different sizes, it makes everything easier, cause the sizes can vary so much when you are opening up boxes.

Not sure about the size, but it looks like a rigid/photo mailer. I use larger ones for ESUS shipping; much better protection than PWE.
Plenty of varieties on Amazon.
The IKEA cases are great. If get get them, you must also install some lighting - it makes a world of difference. As for lighting options, I got these ones: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00URLTUXU/ref=ppx\_yo\_dt\_b\_asin\_title\_o06\_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
But I actually saw a brand called Luke Light custom makes them specifically for the Detolf display case. https://www.thelukelight.com/
I'm not familiar with Luke Light but mine did accumulate wires where the Luke Light is supposed to be a bit cleaner

I got 2 sets of these. They work great for slabs and one touches. I have them on a wall in my office that doesn’t get direct sunlight. I’ve heard nail polish wall shelves work well, too. But when I was looking at those, the bottom lip was typically an inch high which would cover the bottom of the cards.

Great cases for the cost. I have three of them.

No problem! I made that mistake when I first got into the hobby.
If you enjoy keeping your cards in a binder, there are coupon pages that do fit top loaders as well:
Ultra Pro 25 (Twenty Five Pages) 4-Pocket Coupon Pages (3.5 X 5 inches, top load pockets) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B005H7F0RY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_1213T9SV34NBQ2M0X2AX
I keep all my slabs in graded card sleeves. It helps to keep them from getting scratched when they rub against each other. For your issue, that's probably pretty normal, unless the storage case is somehow causing it? Really wouldn't worry too much about it, but the sleeves help a lot!
If you like the separators, this one:

Get a light box if you plan on doing this for a while. I scooped one up for taking some pics of different things and ended up using this for selling cards as well. Even better if you get a piece of cardboard to cover the front of it, then pop a hole to shoot your pics through, and it helps to prevent showing your reflection on it.
it was $37 when i bought it - https://www.amazon.com/MCS-Collector-Display-Sports-52894/dp/B005IHVQF8/ --- i dont have good reviews. but it worked.

As others have said your LCS should have what you want, but if you can’t find anything there these shipping boxes from Amazon have treated me well. They fit cards in toploaders just about perfectly: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07PW9ZPH1?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
The decision to grade a card, depending on the expected grade you’re looking to return, is decided on a much more micro level than most anyone here can provide an answer to.
The value of those cards aren’t going to suddenly fall of a cliff anytime soon. So I’d suggest investing a small amount in grading supplies to better make your decision.
I wouldn’t call these supplies the best but they were cheap solutions to fit what I needed them for at the time.

I second this. There are thicker penny sleeves and thicker top loaders you can use. You’d probably want 130 pt top loaders.

I’m a little confused about how it is supposed to work, especially on borderless cards, but it looks interesting.

I like the ProAvoc one in Amazon better since they allow you to display 9 toploaded cards in one page.
PROAVOC - 9 Pocket Toploader... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08K3RSMP3?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
The page and the binder is naturally oversized as a result, but 9-card page is definitely a better look as a personal preference. It's currently out-of-stock and last I heard from them on their Facebook page a few weeks ago, they've been in touch with their supplier on getting these back in stock.
I ended up buying this and have been very happy with.

I use 3.5 x 5 photo sleeves like these. They work pretty well, but if you go this route, I'd recommend a thicker more sturdy binder. 2" at least. If you start putting slabs in there it gets thick really quick.
Here was my final solution and it works great.
Fits the card (with room to spare for sure) and slides into the top loader without issue.

If you are serious about investing, this post isn't a joke. If you are just looking to "get rich quick", you aren't investing you are gambling. Investing is sports cards (and making money outside of bull markets) is a grind, and almost a second job, so be ready to dedicate a chunk of your time to it.
Your next step should be simulating investing in sports cards. Before you even put a dollar into cards, give yourself $500 excel dollars and make some purchases. Track their growth/decay, and try to understand why cards go up in value.
Learn how to build a business case. If you are investing, truly investing, you should have a business case that discusses your acquisition price, your growth expectations, your risks, and downside and upside sell ranges.
If this is too much work, then don't invest, gamble. There is no shame is just throwing money at the wall and trying to hit big. If your budget allows for a ton of risk, why not?
If investing or gambling aren't for you, and you still want to be involved in sports cards. Find a player that you like, and collect what you like. Most people shouldn't gamble within sports cards, the market is super volatile and most likely inflated at the moment. Most people also don't have 3-4 hours a day to actually make the commitment to truly invest in this sector. You will hear every get rich story during the bull market, but there are about 1000x as many failures that are unspoken.
Apologies on the delay, had to get the right one from the lady who’s at her patents:)

Here was I was looking at
It's hard to tell from the naked eye/pictures if it's worth grading. Do yourself a favor and get a jewelers loupe. This is the one I use and it's been hugely helpful in deciding what to grade and what not to grade.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074SJJM32?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Here's an example. I bought a card from a guy down at my LCS trader night. We passed the card around at the shop and pretty much everyone decided it should go in for grading and had a good shot at a 10. Most people would have given it to the owner of the shop that night. I'd forgotten to bring my loupe so I took it home and this is what I found.
There's no way this gets a 10 with that corner. And since I don't have the budget to get a bunch of 9's in my orders so it's not getting graded.
There are differences. I'm not sure how to tell, but I think it's the ones they sell at Wal Mart only fit thin (20-35 pt.) cards. I have dinged some corners trying to squeeze cards in the Wal Mart ones, I now avoid any supplies from Wal Mart. There are also thick ones for relic/jersey cards, that work great for not dinging corners on those really thick cards, I've been using these for thick cards-
Maybe someone else will chime in, but the penny sleeves at Wal Mart suck in my opinion, they are very thin.
I bought this Arkhive card case based on a recommendation from this sub. It’s not it’s intended use (meant to hold Magic boxes) and it’s a bit pricey at $35 but it feels really nice and top loaders fit like a glove.
Like someone else mentioned if you can see it with your naked eye it will take a hit... I’d recommend watching some videos on YouTube and getting one of these if you’re going to start sending stuff in... this helps me measure more precisely centering and helped me understand that some cards we’re going to likely get a 9... Carson LumiLoupe 10X Power Stand Magnifier With Dual Lens (LL-20),Black/Clear,7x https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000VL1YNA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apip_vWTHOTuRb2oyr
I'm gonna try this one out once I get enough cards actually worth displaying. Reviews look solid.
I’ve started measuring just to be sure with this... which also really helps with seeing any imperfections grading companies will see... while my centering wasn’t perfect it was around 55/45 which is acceptable for mint gem... when I got my 9 Ja and Luka back and checked them I realized I had a couple of issues you can only see under magnification.. both issues were on the back btw so really hard to gauge just on the front... I’m still learning but the more I see come back from grading gives me better understanding each time... I’m sure there are people here with significantly more experience than I have though... Ah gotcha. I got a pack this time I think so gonna cross my fingers. Are he hobby boxes much more expensive?
