I went through something similar earlier today.
You can get the download links for older versions here (you will need to be signed in). You will also need to recall which version you were previously on or just download them all and try trial & error.
This had been talked a lot over at /r/Photoassistants
But long story short. On the cheap end you can use a travel router like you mentioned. I've done this, it works fine. The weakness is capture pilot's stability. You most likely already have a battery pack that can power this for a full day.
Next step up would be Hollyland Mars transmitter systems (supports up to 4 ipads) The ios app isn't perfect but it works.
Then as you mention the Teradek serv pro. This is the most expensive but more solid option. You'd need to also rent some batteries and 2-pin lemo connector for whichever battery source you choose to go along if you don't have a solution.
>You can also simply delete the dupe files Capture One makes by using the command line ("del __1.")
And as an extra fun fact to tag onto here, you can make your own ICC colour profiles using a colour card like the ones from x rite for example
I have never tried this, but according to it's specs it could be an option, a magnetic adapter:
https://www.amazon.com/YoungSelly-Magnetic-Connector-Thunderbolt-Compatible/dp/B09SP1JZPC/ref=sr\_1\_5?keywords=thunderbolt+magnetic+adapter&qid=1656316448&sr=8-5
I'm sure it's possible using layers but if you want an easy way to do it you can just apply some LUTs. Quick google search gave me this first hit, https://sellfy.com/makeartnow
You can use it as a base and adjust to your liking.
Photo Mechanic can be set to show any metadata including Title in the grid or what they call contact sheet view. I do know you can change the Filename there but never tried to change the Title.
But the Filename and Tile ought to be the same (although the Title will not have a suffix). There are tools in Lightroom to sync the Filename and Title (using a plugin which I'll dig out the name of if interested). DittoPhoto Mechanic.
Thank you for the help everyone. I was not able to resolve the issue in 14.4. I've been this is a known issue from more than on person. I downgraded and download 14.3.1 (https://www.captureone.com/en/account/download/previous) and the export bar works as expected. I Love C1 hopefully that they can resolve this on a future update.
I'll check that out, I just assumed you had to outright join or get invited to be in the beta program. I've been a subscriber to C1 for years.
I couldn't find a link anywhere on their site, I tired my like and for anyone else interested in giving freedback and hopefully get C1 back on track, this link works once signing into your account : https://www.captureone.com/en/account/beta/beta-tester-signup
Edit : Beta download link is on your account info page.
Their website answers this question in FAQ #3:
> Your Capture One for Nikon single-user license is valid for one user, on one computer.
Unfortunately it turns out you can't: https://www.captureone.com/en/resources/feature-list
Personally I would just start a catalogue, import the images you want to edit and don't give too much thought to organising that catalogue. If you don't routinely import tons of images then it's probably not going to get too unweildy. See if you like the editing part of the software first before you invest too much in library management.
The free Express version of Capture One offers quite a lot. The feature comparison is here: https://www.captureone.com/en/resources/feature-list. I think the big one for us Fujifilm users would be support for the Film Simulation profiles (they are very close to the JPEGs you get out of the camera) and I believe that is in Express. Personally I went with the Pro subscription as there were a few features I needed and I use C1 a lot. I advise sticking with the free version for now and if you need a feature it would be an easy transition to the Fujifilm-specific Pro version (which is less than the full Pro version). HTH.
I've been checking for this update since I saw the sneak peek on YouTube. Glad to see it's here.
FYI, the What's New tab in the Resource Hub announcing that 20.0.4 is out leads to a "page not found" error on the website at https://www.captureone.com/features/release-notes.
A thing you can do, is sign up as a Capture One beta tester............ You can do it here: https://www.captureone.com/en/beta-tester/beta-tester-signup 😉

Some apps have performance settings which can increase or decrease the available cpu cores, memory usage, or whether to use gpu, depending on ones preference. I'm not familiar with C1, which is why I asked.
They have a list of supported cameras.
https://www.captureone.com/en/features/supported-cameras
If yours is not on the list then you have to wait for it to be added (I am in the same situation too)
Wow... when your products highlighted key features include such innovations as "Crop tool", "Scrollable interface", "Keyboard shortcuts", and "Added labels to icons"... and you ask $99 and up for an upgrade?
Basically the entire What's new - page could be summed up in "We tweaked the UI and added DNG support". Still no iOS/iPad OS support, cloud features, or better DAM features? Looks like I'm going to pass on switching fully to C1.
Try using v11. I've had a lot of crazy issues with 12 myself. Went back to 11 after a few days and havent had an issue since.

Never had a calibrated screen back in the day. Learned a bit from https://smile.amazon.co.uk/Professional-PhotoShop-Correction-Retouching-Manipulation/dp/0471018732/ref=smi_www_rco2_go_smi_1285150262?_encoding=UTF8&%2AVersion%2A=1&%2Aentries%2A=0&ie=UTF8
