but keep in mind you have a complimentary 100 miles for free. but you have got to be kidding me if you rent a beast of a motherfucker like this car and not go over that. You can, if the owner allows it, its something around .75 cents extra for every mile over. $120 as well to get the car delivered to you/closer. there are restrictions on that as well. When all is said and done, I would do it again in a heartbeat and 10 times over. This was my first time using Turo and I was hesitant.
i want to see what the rusted one looks like. you can see it in the reflection on the front bumper.
this made me want to buy a bus. then i found out they are really really expensive.
oh absolutely. and hong kong traffic can get quite bad sometimes. but they do have some nice and scenic windy roads over there, so it aint all bad. Most of the luxury cars in HK are garage queens though.
They say the new G37 coupe replacement will be a TT V6, and given that the Z has shared the same engine + platform as the G coupe in the past two generations, i think we might be due for a TT Z refresh
Also, the R32 GTR was created for Group A racing: After cancelling the Skyline GT-R in 1973, Nissan revived the GT-R again in 1989. At the time Nissan was competing in Group A Racing with the Skyline GTS-R. Nissan wanted to retire the GTS-R in favor of a more competitive vehicle. The new generation GT-R, E-BNR32 chassis (commonly shortened to R32), was designed to dominate Group A racing.

Have put the rest of the album up at /r/thewholecar if you would like to stop by.
XR6 turbo. It's an Australian built Ford with a 4.0 Straight Six Turbocharged engine. Very solid platform to build a high hp engine on.
As a car overall not that great though, bit of a boat. I think this was running around 700hp at the wheels.

Another year is behind us so I made this gallery of 135 best cars I got to see (and photograph) in 2015.
Hope you will like it.
I wish you all the best in 2016, happy new year!
Ight. Here are the steps:
1.) Make or find a low-poly 3D model of a car in any modeling software you like. Just make sure to export it as a .obj 2.) Import the .obj into Pepakura Download here and organize the unfolded 3d model onto paper to print. I recommend watching a few videos on how to use Pepakura to get the best results! 3.) Print the template onto cardstock. (Don’t use regular paper! The results are gross!) Use an x-acto knife to cut out the pieces and score the edges with a ball-point pen. Glue the parts together with Elmer’s glue. (Don’t use superglue or epoxy etc. Those adhesives are too strong). Do not attach wheels/wings until they and the car body are painted. 4.) Paint the car. YOU MUST USE PRIMER!!! If you want a light color, use white primer. Darker colors require black primer for best results. If you want, put this Krylon Shimmer metallic paint over black primer for awesome metallic effects! You can find some here: Amazon Krylon paint 5.) Paint on accents/windows by using painter’s tape to stencil out the rest of the car. Take this slowly. Don’t try to paint everything at once or you might mess up in some spots. 6.) Attach wheels with hot glue. Do this diagonally so the car sits flat on the ground. You don’t want it to be crooked. 7.) OPTIONAL BUT RECOMMENDED. Find some reflective tape and use it so make head/tail-lights. To make different colors, use a sharpie to color the tape. It looks really nice!
Other than that, you now know everything there is about making these paper cars yourself!
Gallardo is a spanish word, meaning "gallant". There is a pronunciation on that site if you click the speaker icon next to the word.
In spanish, two of the letter "L" next to each other are pronounced like a "y". Such as how "pollo", or chicken, is pronounced "poyo"
So "Gallardo" is basically pronounced "Gayardo"
Looks like it. I was guessing SEL coupe.
Not true. The body is modified, but it's an Exige chassis. It's wider than the Elise, longer, and shares the basic design of the Exige.
"It’s no secret that the carbon-fiber shell comes from a Lotus Exige."
A guy I know made an E-Pacer. Think "Wayne's World," Pacer, but with a ton of batteries. it always makes heads turn.
This is from 2011, Original Source here. They didn't race in ALMS last year and the car was used for a lot of promo stuff leading up to Petit le Mans.
This car sucks. Consumer reports gave it a failing grade http://www.consumerreports.org/cro/news/2012/09/fisker-karma-earns-a-failing-grade-from-consumer-reports/index.htm
Whenever this car appears on r/cars or r/carporn, people seem to forget how utterly useless this car is. First off, the electric drive system is completely useless. They call it an extended range electric car. Well thank god its extended range because without that combustion engine this thing couldnt even go 30 miles. Its about as useful of an electric car as a hybrid chevy suburban. This car is stupid, ugly, and just so some middle aged politician can say "I drive an electric car". Furthermore, the wood is "reclaimed wood", the seats use more of the cow so much less is wasted. This screams "I am a white person and I drive an electric car thats more eco friendly than yours" Please. Buy a Tesla, not this piece of garbage.
Downvote me all youd like, but it doesn't change the fact that this car is shit.
Here's the rest of the album, I hope you guys like it. There's more race shots coming so check back in a few days if you want.
Cheers!
Grand National, a car I will always lust for. Friends dad has one 610 at the wheels. Absolute monster. Mandatory clip for the new documentary coming out on them. http://trailers.apple.com/trailers/independent/blackairthebuickgrandnationaldocumentary/#share
Yahoo answers? Let's try a dictionary instead.
By the way, I take back what I said about not replying anymore. Can't help but have fun.
I used an app called AfterFocus Pro for the blur effect, if anyone's curious.
If the parking lot was empty I wouldn't have bothered, but the cars in the background were too much visual clutter so I blurred them out.
May have gone a bit overboard on the blur, definitely not to everyone's taste.
Listing doesn't exist anymore but one was on Facebook marketplace for $29k about a month ago (and it wasn't a scam). Dunno if you want to try searching the way back machine or something, here's the old link: https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/3092504567539667/
Does this spot look familiar? I ride past here every day on my way to work.
This book helped me so much when I was learning photography. He has others, but I'd argue this is his best to start with.

Check out Donut's "Past Gas" podcast on it! I love these guys and its a good intro into it. If you don't have time for that check out their "Up to Speed" episode!
Yea it's a nice display, but I hope you maxed out specs or forever hold your peace. Don't bother trying to repair it, like at all I loved my old Mac pro but I also upgraded ram hd and ran through 3 batteries. OSX, is great just be careful with it.
You can't really say a Purple Very Rare Vulcan though, thanks to the inexplicable existence of an adjective order in English (and other languages).
(Although there are many ways to phrase the title so it does make sense, I wanted to share that neat piece of information.)

Consumer Reports calls the fisker karma the worst sedan they have ever seen. Including it breaking down a couple of days after ownership.
Needless to say, this car is garbage.
weird! Well maybe the site is saved in your cache or something, even http://www.isitdownrightnow.com/gtspirit.com.html says the site is down currently.
I don't see too many really nice cars around here, so it never gets boring.
Small world this NSX is for sale in my area. A local garage's owner is selling it. Heres the link to the listing if you want some better pictures of it https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/583347785457116/
I don’t know what generation of Hue strip you have, but my original one has 6 wires, one common +12v and then a ground for each of Red/Green/Blue/Warm White/Cool White.
You should be able to use a generic 12-volt “RGB/Variable White” strip that has 6 pins. Here is one that would likely work.
A quick search tells me they’re a premium item:

Each to their own, but everytime I see something like this, I can't help but think it'd be cheaper to rip out the entire drive train, fab your own "Locost" chassis (a Lotus 7 type car), and plonk the running gear in and end up with a lighter car? There's even a book that guides you through it, though its based on using a Ford Sierra donor, but the principles are similar. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Build-Your-Own-Sports-Car/dp/1844253910
I have a Bluetooth cassette tape that is connected to my phone. You have to charge the cassette tape with occasionally. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B083BX9FPT/ref=cm_sw_r_u_apa_fabc_4J2N5717HHJM6AMMB02C?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Some owners upgrade to a newer head unit but the car is stock with 8400 miles so I feel like it will ruin the experience.
I am not sure the cd player will work out. Its a very bumpy ride and the few personal items I've had ended up all over the car. There's no storage areas other than a glove box.
The little bit I have driven it I didn't play much music. Is loud the wind and 10 cylinder engine with side pipes is an audio experience in its own.
Mate. That looks great! What are you driving these days? Are the pistonhead meets still going on?
By the way, have you seen this app?: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gsd.carmeets
So I own a copy of Driving Ambition, a book about the development of the F1. I just saw that they sell for over $200 <em>used</em>.
I'd like to share some of it's content here, but wonder if this is the best sub for it.
I'd skip the 16-50 and get the 18-55
It's actually $50 cheaper than the 16-50 as well, at least separate from the camera. Don't know what the difference is if you buy the 16-50+A6000 kit.
I'd get the kit with the 55-210, and then buy the 50mm and 18-55 separate, but it's up to you. I had read about people disliking the power zoom before I bought the camera, but I didn't think I would dislike it as much as I do.
It's completely up to you and your preferences however.
The next lens I'm planning on buying is the 19mm Sigma or 20mm Sony.
