You can actually get the CCNA Routing and Switching 200-120 Official Cert Guide Library. This is both books so when you get done with one, you can start the other. Amazon Link Below. These are the most recent versions of the Official cert guide.
Again the CCNA 200-120 is both the 100-101 and 200-101. I bought mine recently.

Another good book to read is Todd Lammle CCENT book. It's best to use Todds book to get introduced to Cisco but then read the official cert guides because these are what Cisco will be testing over.
The reason why I am doing the ICND1 and now going for the ICND2 is because I want to KNOW the equipment. You study CISCO not for the certs but to know the equipment, the certs are tools to give you credibility as well as tell you how well your doing on understanding the equipment.
Don't be a weak CCNA: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yJi0qyd4A-8
I've put a few up here for you to take a look at. For ICND1 there really isn't much to do for packet tracer. Normally I just created what I needed when it was necessary. This is what I have for that portion of the CCNA though. Enjoy.
You can also get a few additional ones from this link as well I think. They are for GNS3 though.
Hi, sound like you have everything sorted to get going. Honestly I am unsure about the CBT nugget videos matching with the current exam. I passed my CCNA over 2 years ago well before the new exam came out. If you have the revised nugget videos which were put out late last year I would have thought they were done to match the current exam.
If you are unsure if you have the new or old videos I see the CBT Nugget website http://www.cbtnuggets.com/ has a 7 day free trial so you could always watch the first video on the videos you have to what they have on the site.
Thank you for all the info as I just Stumbled upon this post. I have this book by Odom but find it hard to read with my ADD. Is the book by Lammle any easier? I am interested in learning, CCENT/CCNA since i picked up CCNA 2015 200-120 Video Boot Camp With Chris Bryant for 10$
Have you checked archive.org? Here is a link to the page, but can't tell if the animations are still there as I'm on an iPad:

This is the newest book by Todd Lammle. I just got it in the mail and I am on Ch.2. It's really good so far. Whichever book you decide on, ensure that it was published after August 2016.
I would read the "31 Days Before your CCENT" book. Since you got a 70 I can assume you've got a firm grasp of the material. That book helped me immensely.
The new exam is 100-105, and it's the icnd1 v3. Anything published after August 2016 should be up to date, but double check before ordering. The book I'm looking at getting is this.
One last question if I may -
How essential is having 2x WIC 2T cards and the DCE/DTE serial cables to the success of the CCENT and eventually the CCNA? http://www.amazon.com/Cisco-WIC-2T-2-Port-Serial-Interface/dp/B0000515JR
I don't have this but read I should.
I DO however have 2x of these in my home routers: http://www.amazon.com/Cisco-WIC-1DSU-T1-1-PORT-Dsu-Card/dp/B00067ARVY/ref=sr_1_2?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1461934349&sr=1-2&keywords=wic+csu%2Fdsu
Can I simulate a WAN connection using CSU/DSU?
Thanks!
Under $25. Best resource I've found. Not the only resource you should rely on though
This copy? http://www.amazon.com/CCENT-ICND1-100-101-Official-Guide/dp/1587143852/ref=asap_bc?ie=UTF8
If you wanted to throw it up on either ebay I'd buy it right now for 10-15$ or diirect paypal maybe or by another safe payment means
Todd Lammle's CCNA Book was my main study resource. I would highly recommend it, and make sure you complete the chapter reviews.
The only other resource I used was packet tracer to get the hands on experience with the commands. Again, highly recommended. It makes a world of difference when you can configure the network and interact with the stuff yourself as opposed to simply reading it.
personally I'm starting out Todd Lammle's CCENT study guide while also using packet tracer to play around.
I hear that a lot of people here also like Wendell Odom's book for the CCENT which is the official book.
I'm regretting the Odem book after some of your suggestions to check out Lammle http://www.amazon.com/CCENT-Study-Guide-100-101-ICND1/dp/1118749685
