Hey Benzie, thanks for the videos you made for CnC rivals, highly informative and concise.
Yes I do want developers to earn for the hard work they put in the game. Just not too keen on paying / early players having an advantage beyond skill and game knowledge. Think this type progression game design is in service of making most money for the publisher, instead of making most enjoyable gameplay. It do not have to be like this. Most successful PvP games aresuccessful because they do not link player avatar / units power with time spent / money. Think about all the fighting games, DOTA 2, LOL, Overwatch, CS GO, even damn Fortnite BR is not pay2win. Exception is (again EA) FIFA making a football game (in some game mode) pay2win. Unit stats should be only a concern of game balance, not how many hours or how much money you put into the game.
So hoping to see if there is more creative revenue generation methods to sustain a well made game, instead falling into the same old pay2win tune.
P.S. In fact I found there is one example that match my original question: a mobile RTS game with one off purchase - Iron Marines. Cost much less than $30, just bought it. Unfortunately Iron Marines is single player only.
There are also other interesting alternatives, like the Game Live app from Samsung: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.samsung.android.game.gamelive
Once installed configure the app with your settings, and start streaming. It may not be compatible with all devices, but still is an interesting alternative.
I used this app for Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.duapps.recorder
Not sure if it is the best option though
DU screen recorder is pretty good.

The problem with all screen recorders under Android is that they record audio through the microphone, rather than internally, so the audio is fairly poor quality and all ambient sounds are included.
