You can if you prefer, most times I just use a watchmaker's screwdriver, but I also have one of these for hard to reach chips.
If it's not wet in the garage, you have nothing to worry about. These things can take a lot of abuse. If you are super paranoid, you can take the board out and store it in the house, but honestly it's gonna be OK.

I've used them for transporting arcade cabinets in the back of my truck. a 6 hr drive in pouring rain and the cabinet was 100% dry.
Throw a silica gel packet that /u/nighthawke75 linked and you should be golden.
If you have an old Android phone/tablet lying around, mount it and install the Pong Clock!! It'd look great in any arcade setup!
