My go to for gift giving advice: "If the person has had a stable job for longer than a year or so they don't really want anything you can just pick up at a store and buy. They can do that themselves, but every person with a job is in need of the same thing, time. If you can spend the time to make something cool with arts and crafts, they will love it for forever. Social media is an immense fountain of inspiration for these kinds of things and you can almost always find guides to make things by yourself, and relatively cheap."
Food for DnD should be be of the snacks, tapas, hors d'oeuvres, appetizers variety, i.e. bitesize (unless you plan on taking a break to eat). You'll want to avoid things that can spill or drip onto papers. Chips are always greasy and will ruin character sheets/smear screens. I wouldn't expect DnD players to clean their fingers constantly at the table, so if you want to use sauce, keep it to a minimum and use toothpicks (these little swords will be well received at any table). I also suggest avoiding bone-in and other things that will leave "evidence" behind. Cut off the tails of shrimp, and if you burn the side of something cut off the burnt part. And don't forget to consider allergy and dietary concerns.

A deeper understanding of your character
Homemade DnD arts and crafts
A character sheet that has all the updates you were supposed to do in between sessions
Ready to be in character without the DM having to re-immerse you
Are you implying this item is still too strong to be in the trash, or do you not understand how a Censer of Controlling Air Elementals works?
The Stinger- An enchanted, shoulder fired launcher. It's a one-off shot, fire and forget. Takes one action to aim, one action to fire. The projectile streaks toward an AIRBORNE creature of your choice within range. Make a ranged Attack against the target, with disadvantage if you choose not to sight in properly before firing. On a hit, the target takes 4d6 explosive damage.
Hey there, r/d100!
I have started a program called Power Word: Charity that I am going to sticky at the top of this page. Every month, I will be creating a new d100 PDF that is PAY-WHAT-YOU-WANT. 100% of the money made from these PDFs will go to a select charity.
For example, for April 2021, I created the 100 Forest Encounters PDF. Every cent that this PDF makes is going to The Nature Conservancy, a global environmental nonprofit that is doing big things for the planet. In May, I will choose another charity and create a new d100 PDF for it.
For every $300 that we make, I will release a new TTRPG book of mine, complete with different d100 lists, completely free to the community.
I just felt that now that the community is a little bigger than it used to be, we can do some good for our world. I hope to provide you with as much interesting and useful content as you can handle.
Thank you all for being a part of this amazing community, and making everything possible!

I use a service called Notion which essentially is your own entirely customizable webpage using markdown. It allows you to create and arrange pages, tables, lists, expandable sections, linked databases, embedded video & images, and tons more. I've spent the last week and a half setting up a wiki-like series of nested pages that contain a plethora of information about my world, my PCs, my planned plots, arcs, storylines, etc. , and basically anything else that is at all relevant to planning & running my game. I then have a 'dashboard' landing page that allows me to quickly get to and reference it all. I can't show you the actual thing because it is hidden/private as I would not want my players to be able to see it, but this is a stripped down version of it to give you an idea.
And this is just one page with only a few elements. The free version of Notion lets you create up to 1000 elements total, and a $5/mo subscription thereafter ($4/mo if paid by year) allows you to create unlimited elements & pages.
Just one of the options out there but I'm loving it. My last session went super smoothly thanks to my ability to quickly and easily reference pretty much any information I wanted.
Thanks for asking! I put up a link to it on the site a while back. Due to wedding craziness i havent added much, but it does work! I use it regularly for misc tavern characters and loot piles :)

Flawless! I'm currently working on an app to do that, but it still is on an early phase, check it out:

I feel that forgotten beasts in Dwarf Fortress would work great for this. Heck, even found a generator for D&D 5e! (Hit the green Run button up top) You'll just have to up the size it gives you.

Weird I tried posting something a second ago and then my text disappeared halfway, sorry if I accidentally posted and this is a double post, but I'm not seeing it. Not sure what I did 0.o. Anyway...

On my blog, one of my most popular posts is my 20 Weird & Wonderful Micro-Settings. I would like to post a followup eventually since I'm sitting on some ideas, but for now that's what I've got!

Below is my description of the Quantumverse, one of the settings from that post, which is also the default setting for my tabletop RPG Pixels & Platforms, which is going to be my submission for DREAMJAM. I haven't submitted it yet, so keep an eye out!

> An emergent microverse that exists "between particles"; a compressed computational world formed from the distribution of sub-atomic particles in physical space. A world of varying densities of compressed and encrypted pixels, voxels, and polygons. A fantasy world on a circuit board; a kingdom of baking-yeast people and the nefarious Rat King; A silk road Arabian Disco.
Brought the magic ring to the top of the volcano to drop it into its fiery maw, paused to delivery a heroic soliloquy and was overcome by the toxic fumes.
Yes, I did admit I was wrong. And to that, I simply stated my opinion, whether right or wrong. I also went with an online resource that is for this purpose and realized after discussion that it lacked a critical feature. Am I a math wizard? No. I still contend that using 20^5, solely, to calculate this is wrong. When, indeed, there is a formula to use for the problem and it simply is not 20^5. Facts we all can agree on 100 items on the chart. 5 different categories with 20 different possibilities each. Repetition is allowed but not for individual results and order does not matter. Added: each result must contain 1 item from each of the 5 categories. E.g. human beggar, beggar human, orc beggar, fisherman orc, etc. ~~You will see at the bottom of this image the formula for combination with repetition~~. Edit: This image contains the formula for combination order does not matter and without repetition. I have given you my resources and have provided supporting evidence to my argument. Show me yours, and I will gladly concede if need be. https://www.freecodecamp.org/news/content/images/2020/04/Permutations3.png
It's really mostly a decoy. The PCs find a tomb, but instead of the one they are looking for its just one of a minor noble. So I put just some silver, minor potions, fancy but dull daggers and the aforementioned owls in the various chests. I guess the deceased was into ornithology?! I also added a dead rust monster larva preserved in alcohol, because I the map I used had quite a few containers in that room. I adapted this fantastic map for my campaign, just replaced the jester references with a demon-posessed merchant that plays a minor role in the campaign: http://www.dundjinni.com/forums/forum_posts.asp?TID=13800
