I love these line of blue/green cover supplements so much!
My fav is still https://www.amazon.com/Charlemagnes-Paladins-Campaign-Sourcebook-Roleplaying/dp/1560763930
It has such good historical information for a small book of an RPG.
To this day I still remember those books when I got them brand new back in the day, the best books!
5e has a starter set that is much cheaper on Amazon.
Walk down that road, though, and the "Frequently bought together" down below is just the start....
Basic Fantasy is also a good choice.
Libre Office is a good free alternative to MS Word.
27 pages is a little much for a character sheet. What I do is just print out the class section straight from the PDF and print out spells as-needed.
I also recommend formatting your text with columns to make it a little more readable and lessen the page count.
QUICK UPDATE: After showing off the Myassari zine mock-up a few weeks ago, I’ve had several players/GMs ask me about ordering a copy outside of tonight’s drawing. For you I bear good news - The patron profile, much like Myassari herself, is no longer bound to the cold, void realms of PDF, and has taken on a physical form - manifesting as a neon-red zine ready to be dropped into your campaign and zine-box!

Hope you guys enjoy Myassari! Here is a copy of my release announcement over at orderofthequill.com:
Witness the birth of a new DCC RPG Patron! Myassari, the stenographer of birth and decay, the silent observer, the deity of midwifery and time, is now ready for your ungrateful worship! All with her bearing blessed by the Dark Master himself! Download the full, 25 page patron, complete with taints, spells, and lore, on RPGNow for FREE or Pay-what-you-want! Written by myself, Julian Bernick, and illustrated by Trevor Hartman, this patron was conceived and developed after her initial name-drop in “Cast Tower of the Blood Moon Rises!”
Bring her into your next DCC RPG session - but… why you ask? Have you ever wanted to turn a treacherous demon-lord into a plump babe and raise him as your own son? Have you ever wanted to shroud a fellow adventurer within the mucusy secretions of a healing membrane to lessen his pains? Have you ever wanted to summon a phoenix built of boulders to smash in the brains of your foes (or allies)? THEN KISS HER TALONS AND BEG FOR MYASSARI’S MERCY!
In early July, everyone who is following Order of the Quill on Google+ will be entered for a chance to win a limited, zine printed copy of Myassari, The Patron of Birth and Decay! I’ll be rolling three winners total. Outside of this drawing, I’m not sure how many of these I’ll print, or if they’ll ever go on sale.
Have you looked at FoundryVTT, I don’t have much experience with VTTs, ran one game with FG and did not care for it. Had setup roll20 and made a post about VTTs here. I bought the foundry license and haven’t looked back. Already ran two sessions with it and it’s a blast. I highly recommend it if you want to give VTTs another chance.

The DCC official dice are better, and take note that they just completed a kickstarter for newer, shinier ones. But...
If you just want cheap versions of most of the weird dice, you can get these on Amazon, or even your FLGS... I got mine to order them so I paid like $6 per set, no shipping.

Nice. No pictures, but I’ve used this to a similar effect. Trifold, landscape orientation. Pockets on front and back. It’s great since I mostly buy digital products these days.
Conan is really the best of what you are looking for, but definitely involves old school racism.
