The easiest thing to do is buy a tag gun so you can reattach the tags.
They are only $15, so it will pay for itself after one use.

When I switched to daylight bulbs it was a huge help. I think the first ones I bought were just some cheap 40w to try so they were definitely softer. Had to get a 3rd cheap clamp lamp to put in the middle and then 1 on each side as well. Adding the 3rd lamp really brought everything together perfectly with my setup. It’s just one of these that I took the reflector cone off and most the time now I just hold it in my other hand right under or above my phones camera lenses. Hell I’ve even just clamped it to a febreze bottle a few times when I need it stationary. I’m have 0 concept or knowledge of the art of photography but I am very good at being creative with what I have available instead of wasting money on unnecessary equipment so my first recommendation is to pick up a pack of daylight bulbs to try first. 60w probably. It may not necessarily be MORE light you need but a softer light. Can try building a light diffuser box for your LED bulbs or ever find some white glossy/reflective board to set on the sides of your backdrop to help bounce light into more of your environment.
I don’t think it’s explicitly prohibited. Maybe best to turn it off when listing and try it again or make a new account with a different email and list without a VPN if your account is blocked. Or upgrade your VPN to Betternet or TunnelBear etc and be able to select your location as in the US. Hope that helps.
u/GenericModerator2020 is quite correct. Even $100 is too much.
I own this one, going fine at 5 years. Currently $23. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00KYA0RC2. Goes to 110 lbs. I use it for most of my day-to-day shipping (I have another scale for uber-heavy items). It works great and I've literally never been caught 'off' on my weights. My only complaint with it is the auto-shut off invokes after like 90 seconds, even when plugged in. A minor PITA to have to keep turning it back on when shipping.
Whatever you buy, I'd strongly recommend getting one with the 'remote' display. The ones with the display on the unit can be easily hid by larger boxes.
FTR in case anyone thinks otherwise, that's no affiliate link. Just posting it 'cuz it's the one I actually own.
These are the half-sheet labels I use for eBay.

They work pretty well. Only problem with them I have is when I sheet feed them through a second time (to print the second label) the label gets very slightly "toner dirty" but I use a cheap Brother printer so that's probably more a printer thing than the labels themselves.
Re: the first part - yeah that's my worry. Like, in the vast majority of cases, it'd probably not be a huge deal...but then there'd be that one time where someone breaks something while tugging on the case to get it out, lol.
Re: the second part - oh interesting. Is that something you can get from USPS or UPS? Or just buy it on Amazon? I searched there and found this, is that basically what you're referring to?
Thanks!
Get a postage scale. Something like this. Add weight to all listings when posting the items(pre package items after taking pictures), and have buyers pay actual shipping. I always do teh QR code option, so that I don't have to print anything.

Good luck - get organized, be honest about the items and you will be successful.
These are the ones I just purchased, but they’re $25 now. The other sizes I got from Walmart and Staples, so just search their sites for the size box you need. You can sometimes get free shipping or store pickup to avoid the extra cost. Hence, the reason to check box prices regularly.

Do you have a shipping scale? If not, get one, weigh the items and use "calculated shipping" for the weight. Shipping rates across postal zones vary too much to do flat shipping or free shipping.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01GP27QAI/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1 I have a smaller one (out of stock right now) and love it awesome pics everytime and I finish themoff with Clipping magic.
I bought a photo box years ago ... I paid WAY more than $16 for it.

I just got the Amazon recommended shipping scale a few days ago. It was $20. Goes to 50lbs.
I got the free one from the stamps.com free trial many years ago, works great but it only goes to 10lbs.
I got this one because it uses batteries and electricity and I want to try selling larger items like kitchen appliances and electronics.

> It's really just a 53" x 12 yard roll of construction paper. Pull it out, take your pics, pull more out when it gets dirty.
Same here, but I just use cheap rolls of Kraft paper.
4' x 200' for $28.
Stick a broomstick in it, mount 2 hooks on the wall, then just roll it down and across a table.
Instant seamless background.

I put one in the bottom front aiming upward at 45 degrees toward the item and diffused with two pieces of printer paper. The second is 1/3 from the front up top and pointing down with a fabric diffuser. This is an example of the result (screen shot on my phone and upload to Imgur killed the resolution but you should be able to see the balance of illumination). https://imgur.com/a/fm7qo5L
I use a Nikon D90 (ooollld but good and inexpensive these days) and a 50mm f/1.8 Nikkor AF-S DX lens.
There is one! It’s not all the way quiet but it is SIGNIFICANTLY quieter. It gets a little louder toward the end of the roll. I forget it’s quiet until i misplace it and use the old one and am like DANG! That’s loud!
Much cheaper than the quiet tape. It’s a good compromise.
Here is what I have.

I've had a hard finding good quality poly mailers so I recently switched to these:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07738KWRT?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details
I know they're not exactly what you're looking for, but after going through too many bad batches of poly mailers I switched. At about 50 cents a piece they're pretty damn affordable, too.
I use an inkjet printer since I'm only selling old Pokemon and sports cards so I'll never get to a volume where I'll need a thermal printer.
This is the ink I use. I bought it 2 years ago and it's only $11 for a set of black, cyan, yellow, magenta, and a double sized black cartridge. I had absolutely no problem with my printer recognizing them, just put them in and it was done. Obviously the ones I linked to are unlikely to be compatible with your printer but the brand seems to be good and have a wide range of products.
These are the printer labels I use. They're out of stock right now but they're $11.59 plus free shipping for 200 + 20 half sheet self adhesive labels and after the very first item I used them on I was glad I bought them. I walked in, went straight to the kiosk, scanned it, dropped it in the slot, and was done in less than 2 minutes. The first two sales I just went to the post office and used a QR code to have them print off the labels and I spent 20+ minutes combined waiting in line between the two visits.
>If anyone has recommendations for pro-level lighting, I'm all ears.
I use the same type of lights, but I bought wall mounts for them.
It frees up the space the stands take up, and you don't have to worry about knocking them over anymore.
Buy a (digital) shipping scale, so you don't have to go to the Post Office to figure out what your packages weigh.
This is very similar to the one I use:
https://amazon.com/dp/B00KYA0RC2
Check out PirateShip.com. You'll get discounted USPS rates with no minimum postage purchase and no monthly fees. For a small/new/infrequent seller, it's a godsend.
I've purchased a couple of these over the years. They work great!
Full disclosure.. The first one broke after about a year and a half of heavy use.
I've been happy with this one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00I9D5IFM?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share Almost every scale on Amazon should work fine, as long as the weight capacity is high enough. There is one feature I want to point out, though! Once you get over 5lbs or so, it's helpful to get the style where the display screen is separate from where you set the package on the scale (it's a lot easier to read!)
I like it overall. I ship a lot of 1st class labels and this definitely comes in handy. It can misprint labels at times. Also, if doing a good amount make sure you get the stand for rolls. The rolls aren’t the cheapest either but so much better then laser printer. I only use it for shipping labels, not sure if it could be used for anything else, kind of interested now with what else I could print. Nonetheless, let me know if you have any questions. Completely worth it and never have to worry about ink again!
> Uline is going to be the cheapest, more than likely.
I can't figure out why people keep saying Uline is the cheapest for anything.
I have never found a single product they are the cheapest on.
A 12" x 750' roll of bubble wrap is $45 at Uline, plus shipping. That's 6 cents a foot, not counting shipping.
A 12" x 700' roll is $23.99 on Amazon, with free shipping. That's 3.4 cents a foot, shipping included.
Uline is literally double the price.
Pics were always my nemesis too. I tried and failed setting up several “DIY” solutions, but finally gave up and invested in a photo light box.
It has been LIFE CHANGING. It actually makes photographing enjoyable because you can get the right shot the first time, and they look so professional. Cuts down editing time tremendously too, as I now have do little to no editing!
Below is a link to the one I bought. It’s awesome, but pretty huge and hard to find room for...the last pic in the listing is not lying, you really can fit a tiny human in it. (My 8-year old was happy to test it out! LOL)
There are lots of smaller & cheaper options, starting around $18...possibly even less.
I wouldn’t have the first idea how to author a DVD and if I was going to do it, frankly I’d choose a better film than 7th Cavalry from 1956! Have a look at the one star reviews on Amazon as shown here: 7th Cavalry (1956) - Official Columbia Essential Classics Region 2 PAL release https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B008U7ZIP2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_AdjqFb94ZCFPH and you’ll realise a professional company has put this DVD out with a poor quality transfer.
Thanks for the accusations though, nice way to help another eBay seller out!
Hi,
It says clearly on the rear of the box that there may be some loss of quality in the transfer. A picture of the front and rear of the box was included in the listing.
Having looked it up on Amazon, there are a lot of complaints about the poor quality of the transfer 7th Cavalry [DVD] https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B003VY8932/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_w98pFbBT530GN
I didn’t sell him a bootleg. It says clearly on the rear of the box that there may be some loss of quality in the transfer.

This is the one that I have. It’s economical and pretty versatile. If you have a larger item you can still see the weight.
