This is all speculation, so please keep that in mind.
I am of the opinion that we will see the following exchanges:
1.) Kucoin
2, 3, 4.) Changelly.com/HitBTC/Bitcoin.com.
Again, that's all speculation but it would match up with what I've seen/read/feel. Personally, I would be stoked to get Changelly as it's the easiest swap exchanges ever and it's how I personally got started in altcoins so I think it would make acquiring ERGS so much easier for people. No account even needed.
Hitbtc uses the same trading engine and is very closely partnered with three 3 exchanges.
I believe Hitbtc is also a prime broker on tradingview.
I am hoping they all share the same APIs, and you get your wish.
Let's see.
Ergo can be bought at Coinex, to avoid fees you can transfer algo or xlm there. After that you sell it for usdt and buy Ergo. It does not require any KyC. If you use a referral link you'll have Lower trading fees in Coinex for 3 months. Here's mine if you want to use it! Best of luck
It won't be Binance. It may be Changelly.com which should be easy enough for anyone to understand. You don't even need an account. You just select one crypto to send, and one to receive. Send the one, receive the other.
But, what about the current process do you find confusing? Maybe I can help. The easiest way to buy Erg currently is through Coinex. Since you're an ADA fan, this will be easy for you.
1.) Create a Coinex account.
2.) Deposit ADA to Coinex.
3.) Sell ADA for USDT.
4.) Buy ERG with USDT.
5.) Withdrawal ERG to Yoroi.
Please let me know if you need any help with the steps. I'm happy to help walk you through it. In general, it may help you increase your overall crypto knowledge which is always a good thing.
Optional: Put GTON/FTM into a liquidity pool.
“Aether is a peer-to-peer flood network that propagates an entire copy of a text corpus, to all its participating nodes. From this corpus, on the nodes themselves, a content graph is incrementally compiled. This compilation happens under the end user’s control and it can be influenced by them.
The text corpus is a graph with six types of graph nodes, which define relations between users, content, and signals. This graph is pruned by a garbage collector in intervals, the collection algorithm is a mark-and-sweep based on time-to-last-interaction.
The nodes communicate with each other certain modifications (deltas) to the graph they each other have. Each node has the same (or near-same) source data (the text corpus), and syncing that corpus across machines is how changes in this content graph is propagated.”

Now, about your concerns:
CoinEx provides the standard 2FA option to protect your funds. It also uses security factors like multi-signature strategy and HTTPS to provide full-dimension protection for your funds' and data protection.
It's never been -in any way- hacked.
I think it's safe but beyond the information I have given you, you should use your common sense.
Simply buy Algo or Stellar and transfer it to Coinex with fees as low as cents. There you can swap in USDC/USDT and buy Ergo. Here is a referral code for 10% commission pay back: https://www.coinex.com/register?lang=en_US&refer_code=kg4fp
Coinex, there's no KYC requirement to buy, you can transfer another coin there sell it for Usdt and buy Ergo or you can buy directly within the app. If you use my referral link you'll have Lower trading fees for 3 months so I'll leave it below if you decide to use one. Best of luck
I made this script inside a bus, using Pydroid. To be honest, I didn't even do a thorough search, I just looked for the first results and found nothing. Thank you. :D
Yes, you can absolutely restore your wallet elsewhere using your seed phrase.

I'm not really the right person to give you my opinion on that. I myself use Android. Never owned an iPhone. What i could do is help you in the right direction.
I myself use ESET Mobile Security for Android. I think it is also available for iPhone, but there are also a lot of other antiviruses you could implement on your iPhone.
I will link you two websites where you can compare antivirusses. One is in Dutch, but it has a lot of great features. Maybe you could use Google translate on that one.

Android wallet by Benjamin M. Schulte works fantastically well. Simple, straightforward UI.

An iOS version has been in the works; either out in beta or expected to be out soon.
Have not tested the official desktop wallet. Even with a descent degree of technical literacy, seems like such a hassle. Perhaps I'll try it someday.

Coinex, I'll suggest transferring Algo or Xlm there to save on transfer fees. You can use my Coinex referral link for lower trading fees too if you wish. Best of luck
Use coinex, transfer algo or xlm there to avoid fees, if you want to buy directly within the exchange buy Tron instead of Usdt. Here's my Coinex referral link, you'll have Lower trading fees if you use that. Hope it works out well for you
I did it through Coinex, it doesn't require any Kyc so you can transfer some other crypto like Algo there (to avoid big fees) sell it and than buy Ergo. If you use my referral link you'll have Lower trading fees for 3 months. Hope that helps! https://www.coinex.com/register?refer_code=dy8gk
I did it through Coinex, it seems reliable and doesn't require any KFC. Apparently if you use a referral you get lower trading fees for 3 months. So here's mine if you decide to use it. Best of luck
If not, check out the free "Mining Monitor" app on Android. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=fahim_edu.appmining
I'm using it to monitor Leafpool, there's a pro version for $4 but I'm using the free version ATM.
Also the Ergo Mobile wallet for Android here is available if you like that for your Erg, it does not support tokens yet, but anything sent to your address will remain tied to your address and you can view them on the Ergo blockchain explorer.
