I braided one of my non-anti static hoses with some PEX braiding from Amazon, and I’m really pleased with the results. There are a few guides on how to do this and seal the ends using shrink wrap or electrical tape, but I wasn’t happy with the sloppy looking end result and after some fiddling, was able to pinch the end of the PEX wrapping in to the hose thread. I can’t recommend this mod enough!

You can get Tanos original systainer with Makita brand on amazon. It stacks and also hooks up to festool dust extractor. Also much cheaper than the newer systainers. It is a bit of a pain to work the four different latches when trying to connect and disconnect boxes but I bought them to satisfy my ocd of knowing my Makita tools are in a Makita box.

Unrelated, kinda, but the other "recommended by amazon" tape in that link..the Spec-Ops 25' is a piece of hot garbage. Bourbon Moth uses (used to?) quite a bit, but it's 100% some re-branded no name aliexpress garbage.
I haven't heard of your European one, Advent's Master Precision. How does it compare to Fast Cap? Or Tajima? (maybe Tajima isn't a fair comparison as it's class I)
No experience with the Fat Max and there's always going to be exceptions. I like FastCap, some small Milwaukee ones and a Tajima. I could swear the Tajima conforms to a standard, but I'll be damned if I can find that on the Amazon listing.

Not everbody. My Fat Max 25' won't stay extended--it's one of these "push to retract" not "lock to stay extended" models. The Milwaukee ones are pretty good, also Fastcap and a European one I got that's like super accurate.
If you're evaluating the TS55 FEQ, also consider [GKT13](https://www.amazon.com/Bosch-Tools-Track-Saw-GKT13-225L/dp/B07P5VQKLD) that has a much beefier motor (Mafell MT55) and can work on Festool rails as well as Bosch/Mafell rails. That being said I went with a TS55 solely on a purist platform.
I don't have the specific one in my wish list anymore, but I think I found the company name. Search on Amazon for ArtBin. Link below to the type that might work.
I ordered these two. Will report back

I don't know the answer to your question, but I have another useful hack.
I like to wrap my hoses in braided sleeving so they don't catch on stuff. This is what I use:

You're welcome.
On the DeWALT, I'm using a silicone coupler that's used for turbo installations in cars. It's such a simple solution and won't break, no matter what I do. Plus, it was cheap. Link below will give you an idea. I went for the 2.5" > 1.75". 2.5" fits nice and snug on the DeWALT and the Festool hose fits snugly inside the smaller end.

I'm not entirely clear on the 36/32 thing, but it seems the hose actually tapers from one end to the other. I need to measure that...

This is the exact one I use with my dado jig. Really enjoy it.
This is the wrong link - check the Powertec bag's:
I think you’re misunderstanding. While I agree, having a Stabila is better than a piece of MDF for leveling things... as I mentioned above, I’m not in need of something to act as a stop (or a level). The Kapex crown stops are much more attractive than a bright yellow level clamped to a gray, blue, and lime green saw. Which is why I ordered those.
More to the point, a level (Stabila or any other) won’t work for what I’m actually in need of.
The crown stops and the crown support board are wholly different tools. One holds the crown in place, one supports the bottom and is sacrificial. That last bit is the linchpin.
If you clamp a Stabila across the cutting path, you’ll end up with two much shorter and very useless Stabilas. And, I’m 100% sure that isn’t covered by the warranty.
Exactly! I buy these in canada

and once you lube the snaps they’re not so impossible to work with. So much cheaper, but maybe licensing the t-loc tech is crazy pricey
I bought this Cen-Tex hose to tie my domino to my dust collector. The smaller rubber fits the Festool dust outlet perfectly. Maybe you can buy them separately.
Thanks! I’m experiencing exactly what you are describing with the magnetic bit holder. Do you by chance know the difference between the BHS6 I see for $30 from various retailers and the other quick change bitholder for $29 on amazon? Here is the link
