Thanks Im stoked how they turned out! here is the link, I did have to chop them to fit the back doors but they were the best fit I could find online to the shape/dimensions of the escape’s fenders. I tried looking for a long time!
Looks like it the same wiper from 2013-2016
11"(290mm) OEM model number: BB5Z17526-C
Here is an Amazon listing for the wiper with cover (USA)
we just bought a 2014 after reading reviews of the 2013 on consumer reports and other sites as to not being a great model year for the escape. i'm not sure what your 2013 pricing is that you are finding, but the 2014's all came off lease so there is a supply if you can get a good deal?
consumer reports rates these years of escapes as models to avoid: 2006-2008, 2010, 2013
http://www.consumerreports.org/used-car-buying/used-cars-to-avoid-buying/
(also this article is nice to see of any used car you are looking at).
Just double checked what it said on the receipt and it was indeed the synthetic blend. Says they used this stuff: https://www.amazon.ca/Genuine-Ford-XO-5W30-5QSP-Premium-Synthetic/dp/B000NU9BNY
Well guess I'll be going back to just doing it myself in the future^^
A 2020 should still have factory warranty - and the certification should have added an additional year of warranty. I would take it to the dealership and have them take a look and make sure the roof and liftgate are working properly. For the scratches it really depends how deep they are but if it isn't through to the metal then try this. I sell cars, and when they come in with those little superficial marks that takes them right out.
michelin cross climate 2 is an excellent choice. rated for sever snow conditions. don't get the climate+, that does not last.
the p7 2 is a car tire. I really like it, I sell tons, but not for an cuv.
pirelli scorpion str would be a great choice, suv tire 65k warranty.
falken wildpeak at trail is an excellent tire I would recommend. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07WTQM8JL/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_NG5HC5D0AEWAN4EF4XX2
Final Update: (car is back to working state, thanks u/ikkin1989)
So I just used the new scanner to clear the codes and the car is back to working as it was before. I think the computer was just refusing to recheck the system.
I also noticed my HV battery was reporting (nav system) it was or was almost also completely drained. So I drove it around for about 15 minutes and it's back to half now.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00652G4TS/ is the scanner I got which seems pretty good.
So after everything, it cost me $170 for a new battery (the previous one was 6 years old) and $100 for the scanner.
The HV Battery doesn't seem to want to charge over 50% but I don't recall the last time I saw it over that anyways.
I put some touch up paint on it then covered it in some black vinyl tape. Here is the stuff that I used mine is 2017 so you might want to check to make sure it’s the right white
Try replacing the blower motor resistor. Basically there are four resistors built into this piece. Each allows more / less power to the motor thus controlling the speed of the fan. These resistors wear out over time. I replaced it on my 2012 because speeds 1 and 2 weren't working. For less than $20 and 20 minutes, it is an easy thing to check.

If anyone gets a chip in their windshield. Get one of the kits below before the windshield cracks due to changing temperatures. I've done this to all my vehicles and they dont crack/spider after being chipped due to a rock flying up while driving.
ok, so they refuse to do it because you have "no check engine light", so your next best option would be to buy a scan tool. amazon sells the veepeak ones that connects to your phone via bluetooth. i paid 30$ for mine, and depending on what app you use, it gives you a lot of data. you can check your sensor readings and everything.
Here is the one i have:
https://www.amazon.com/Veepeak-Bluetooth-Diagnostic-Supports-DashCommand/dp/B011NSX27A/ref=sr\_1\_3\_sspa?crid=1E3SJ3D81AHZ9&keywords=veepeak+obd2&qid=1671571304&sprefix=veepeak%2Caps%2C236&sr=8-3-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwd...
I would recommend you go to a professional installer ( I got mine from cartoys) as they will have to connect the camera to the unit and also disconnect the MS Sync to have the steering wheel controls working with the new unit.
I just replaced my back up camera. The OEM would work maybe 1 out of 20 times. I was lucky enough to snap the picture of the old vs new.
The old is up top during the day and the new is bottom at night.
My question is, what's up with the blue rectangles on the new camera? Looking through reviews with pictures it appears to be normal. Didn't notice it before purchasing because it went on sale and I jumped on it lol.
Just curious if anyone has any insight. It works, it's crisp and it was cheap so overall I can't complain.
If you're really looking to modernize your 2013's radio, here's an even better option. There are plenty of cool 2DIN head units out there with bluetooth, Nav, and all kinds of other bells and whistles and even without the headache that is Sync.
Your link didn't work for me, but if I cut out some of it then it does. If anybody else has trouble, try this:

Good day guys, for those asking I used "bumper latch quick release button"
They're $4 each on Amazon, cheaper from where I'm from
I just swapped out the 10mm threaded stem to the 10mm bolt of the headlight (2001-2007), "eye"stimated the punch hole, and this was the result, I saw a few people use it on later generation Escapes too
My dash cam I either use the dc outlet, or I have a power cord that connects to the obd port. I have a '19 escape. https://www.amazon.com/REARMASTER-Universal-Camera-Surveillance-Switch/dp/B074M4XMBX/ref=sr\_1\_4?keywords=obd+dash+cam+power+cable&qid=1659065119&sprefix=obd+dash+%2Caps%2C103&sr=8-4

Installation was pretty easy. I found a utube video that showed how to do the whole thing without removing any panels inside the vehicle.
I have curt hitch and curt wiring on my 2013 1.6l escape. It was pretty easy to install. My trailers max capacity is 1500lbs and I don't think I have come close to that weight, but even under a heavier load my escape has no trouble with pulling it. The only downside is the Escape only has a 1500-2000lb tow capacity, and you typically don't want to exceed 50% of that. For your use case I would do it.

Disclaimer I, too, know nothing about cars.
However, if the AC isn't pushing cold air, you can always give one of these a try. If it's just a loss of the refrigerant, you might get lucky and have a $40 fix. You can get them at any auto parts store.
I used a code reader off of amazon. Specifically; This One
Any code reader that has the ability to “erase codes” will do, though.
Normally the sensors link with the car after driving around for a while but if they don't, you need to "train" the sensors with the tool.

I like it, also if you want I added this with some 3m 30 pound tape so I dint need to drill, paint matches perfect and it's held for 3 years now.
I got this for my 2018 SEL and I don't regret it at all. I like how it attaches to a vent and doesn't rely on either suction cup to window or odd sticky substance on the dash. I got a tiny piece of cloth or foam to protect the clip and underside of the vent as well.
LISEN Car Phone Holder Mount,... https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B07YRKDF4P?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
This works perfectly in my 2013 Escape. (I have the titanium so the CD slot is above the display screen and my phone doesn’t block anything)
I used this for a number of years, not specific to any year, or make/model for that matter. Worked well for me, the magnet was plenty strong and didn't interfere with the phone or the car
WixGear Magnetic Mount, Universal Stick-On Dashboard Magnetic Car Mount Holder
I have used this for about 3 years and like it. They work fine if you can do without one of the cup holders.

I had a similar issue on my 2014 Ford Escape. It eats rear tires.
The solution for me was to set the rear camber to -1.2 which is slightly less aggressive than stock (this is outside of alignment specs). I had to be buy third party control arms since the stock rear camber is not adjustable on the Ford Escape
Probably something like this...

I'm looking at this one but if there's something better I'd rather get it. I'm new to all of this.
I used these on both my 2013 and my wifes 2012 when the stock ones starting becoming an issue.
I got these for my 2018 and they very closely match the factory look, but aren't poorly engineered pieces of turd. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07WW2M1XQ/ref=ppx\_yo\_dt\_b\_asin\_title\_o02\_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I'm interested to see if there's an answer, my weather stripping is peeling apart similar to what's in this post
I've done some research and the images of the weather stripping other sites have (autozone, rock auto, etc.) look about the same as places like amazon but can't say for sure if it is.
I also haven't found much in the way of how to (properly) remove and install new weather stripping for these cars
Hi - we just bought a 2014 escape (which looks exactly like the 2013) and love it. we originally expected to buy a 2013, but were turned off by the consumer reports saying to avoid that year of the escape. w/o a warranty, it might be a good idea to avoid knowing that it's generally not a great model year for the car. here's the site from consumer reports: http://www.consumerreports.org/used-car-buying/used-cars-to-avoid-buying/
Buy a pump like this from harbor freight.
It's $7.99

Or save a few bucks and buy the same exact one from Amazon for $16.99 plus shipping

Anyway, buy the exact type of fluid you need, buy two gallons.
Stick the hose in the dipstick hole and extract measured amounts. Extract as much as you can.
Refill with the exact amount you took out.
Start your car and run your tranny through all the gears including reverse.
Suck out more fluid and refill.
Do this a few times until it looks good.
You don't even need a funnel, just reverse the hoses. It's transfers the fluid very quickly.
Or go pay a shop $200 to do the same thing.
you should get a license plate bull bar for the front, like this

The intake is a cheap GReddy clone mushroom filter a local shop was selling. I also had to get the MAF adapter from Amazon. For added rigidity I went to Lowe's and bought a 6 inch L bracket which uses one of the factory airbox holes and the screw for the filter on the end of the intake to hold it in place.
With it installed I noticed better throttle response and improved MPG.
there are plastic retaining clips and nuts that go in there. These work as a good replacement. W702438S300 is the official ford part, good to have a good number of spares as the dealership tends to strip them out as they're meant to be hand tightened but usually get hit with power/air tools.
Take it to a dealership and ask for the part number.
Go to a junkyard and buy a new seat.
Buy a welder and try and fix it yourself. If recommend this one.
I purchased these off amazon for my ‘07 Escape. They work nicely to block the sun, and you can see through them so okay to leave on while driving. https://www.amazon.com/EcoNour-Windows-Magnetic-Suitable-Camping/dp/B08RZBGGXX

Thoughts?
FYI - I do have the original mat/liner in the back that came with my 2018 Escape.
However, I did buy a Husky liner for my 2018 and threw it over the top of the mat. It is a good fit. I would think it would still fit nicely without the original mat/liner that came with the vehicle.
This is the one that I bought:
I used rivet nuts with a hand tool from amazon drilling was a little sketchy but sanded the holes as flat as possible and primed with rustoleum rust sealing primer and they haven’t come off yet! knocks on wood
Could you possibly find me a link? Is it something like this? Cuz this is a lot cheaper than $300. It also sounds like I could possibly have the plugin in the back of the headunit but I don’t want to take it out and mess something up.
So I just used the new scanner to clear the codes and the car is back to working as it was before. I think the computer was just refusing to recheck the system.

I second the BAFX tool. Had no issues with the tool would recommend the free Torque app for Android. You can see what all the sensors are reading in real time. Really useful when my dad swapped two identical connectors putting a Honda back together.
BAFX tool
I'd go w/ compressed air in case it uses an optical sensor. If it's the same as my '07 tape deck / radio, the volume know just spins and spins which to me makes it seem like it's using an optical sensor.
If that doesn't work, you can try to contact cleaner and just twist the shit out of that mf'er.
You could also buy a set of din pins for cheap to pull the unit and disassemble to get in the there and clean it like it owes you money.
We have a couple of these, they're pretty nice. The extra outlet and USB ports are handy if you take them camping or if the power goes out.

You looking for advice or part numbers? I got both. Just yank them out with a set of pliers. Be easy popping them in. I replaced all mine last summer. Also heres the parts on Amazon. Clips
I got the Husky front and back seats on my ‘15 Escape for $130 on Amazon and they’re great. Might mean you can pick up just the fronts for a lot less. They fit perfectly and last forever. I had the same set in two different Jeep libertys for 11+ years and they never gave out or even cracked.

I have the above link, total game changer. Get one for the rear also if you want, I didn't.
I used a China-made WeatherTech imitation called MaxLiner in my C-Max (Same floorpan as Escape, so it uses the same floor mats). Fit perfectly. Found them on Amazon. If I recall they were half the price of WeatherTech. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00HYHX8EM/
I'd surly try Husky Liner https://www.amazon.com/Husky-Liners-Front-Floor-Escape/dp/B009PIKHYW/ if I was doing it again, since they are made in the USA, but I'm not sure they were on Amazon when I bought the Chinese ones.
I don't have a picture right now but it's located under the car on the passenger side where the turbocharger is. I'm thinking the easiest way to access the solenoid is the jack up the passenger side of the car, remove the wheel and splash guard and have at it that way.
Hopefully someone didn’t piss in your vents lol, I haven’t had that specific smell, but as an Uber driver that had a 2017 Escape, I can tell you, that if you put your AC in Recirculate and put it on max, go on your passenger side, and near the intake, on the floor board up under the glove box, spray some Febreze. Personally I like the “fresh” the can looks like this it smells more like fresh laundry more than it does Febreze, not too overwhelming. Cycle between feet, face and defrost vents. It makes a world of difference!
I bought these on Amazon and use them to attach the car top carrier when we go camping.

+1, '16 and recently upgraded from this one to a 129 duo model with the hardwire kit for both parking mode and running only mode. Installed at the edge of the black mesh pattern behind the rear view mirror and ran all cables along the trim etc so it's mostly out of sight.
I haven't tried it on my 2019 Titanium yet, but I've researched and what I found was that if you plug in a trailer light tester (and leave it plugged in) that it disables the feature since it's designed not to engage if towing. Here's a link to a tester and the first review I see is from a Ford truck owner who used it to disable the feature. Even if you don't have the tow package it might be worth it to you to get the wiring installed so you can use the tester.
