We don't have a website like the above although I wonder if we had one how it could prevent from data being served just to you maliciously and not to the above site. It seems like a false sense of security.
The version of GreenAddress on F-Droid is created and checked against the version on github.
You can also use the Chrome App directly from Github by enabling the chrome developer mode (thus preventing auto-updated from the chrome store).
The version on the web page is the least preferable way of accessing the wallet, unless in watch-only mode which should be ok.
Hi /u/osinaldi,
I'm sure by now you have read our FAQ at https://greenaddress.it/en/faq.html. In it, we describe some of the issues with lost 2FA and what we can and can't do as a service to allow safe access to funds where 2FA cannot be checked.
We are painfully aware that not having the ability to access or move coins is a terrible and frustrating position to be in. As explained in the FAQ, we prioritize support due to limited resources. Repeated requests and/or issues that are explained in the FAQ are lower in priority since our response will typically be the same each time. This does not mean that we do not care about your issue, nor does it mean that we will not address it for you when we can.
We plan in the future to allow access to your coins after locking the account, warning through the existing 2FA methods and once a sufficiently long period of time has passed without account activity. We are still finalizing the exact details so that this can be done safely, and we are also developing solutions (using e.g. CSV) to prevent this happening to more users.
Please understand that the more time we spend re-stating the same answers to the same questions in our support channels, the less time we have to implement these solutions. Also please note that once we have a method for you to re-gain access to your coins, you will still need to wait a long time to move them since this is the only way to do it safely. This is another reason we don't prioritize these types of repeated support requests.
Again, as stated in the FAQ, we will widely broadcast details once our solution is in place. We thanks you for your patience in the meantime.
Regards Lawrence, GreenAddress Lead
Hello,
Thanks for your interest! We do not have an iOS testnet version available at present, but you can trying out testnet versions of our Android GreenBits app, and our Desktop version.
I may have some more information for you in the next day or two with news pertaining to iOS, so stay tuned :)
Hi,
Click on the transaction in the wallet and its will show more details. The transaction hash at the top also can be searched for in online block explorers like https://blockchair.com/bitcoin/blocks.
The current outstanding transaction is using either all your inputs or at least some that are required to reach the amount of your other payment. As a result you must wait for it to confirm before the other payment can be made.
Hi,
This transaction does not exist as you can see here https://blockchair.com/search?q=62fc97e41bb081e0db61c1bb5fbd9dbe619e81d66a0106626c32eaad2d174558
Either someone sent you a transaction that was rejected from the mempool and so removed, or they never actually sent you the transaction at all.
Hi,
Please email the transaction hash along with your two factor email or SMS number to and we'll take a look.
You should first verify that the transaction appears on a block explorer like https://blockchair.com/bitcoin/blocks (by searching the hash there) and that it pays to the address you gave the sender.
If you have further questions about the app, please email us at or you can ask our twitter support handle.
You can read about the reasons for the redeposit on the section of this page where it says "Why am I am being asked to redeposit my funds?".
You can get in touch with Green Address:

Maybe it will help you to solve the problem quicker.
Glad to hear it's working OK again now.
If you want more information on how fees work, check out the relevant sections in our FAQ.
Also, it's worth noting that you can always review what the total fees will be before sending, and even set custom fees yourself to make sure you don't overspend.
I hope that helps!
Hi,
Assuming you are trying to reach the web wallet from chrome, please try the full URL https://greenaddress.it/en/wallet.html to get around the addon install prompt.
Alternately you can install the chrome extension which we consider marginally safer than using the web wallet in the event that your netwwork connection is compromised somehow.
Hi,
The following is our stock support response to questions about receiving this error when sending:
'Not enough funds' is typically shown when the wallets balance is made up of many small utxos (inputs) that are uneconomic to spend (the value of the utxo is only just larger than the cost to send it). When constructing a transaction, the wallet adds utxos until the amount requested is reached, and then adds more as needed to cover the transaction fee. If the amount and fee cannot be covered, the payment cannot be made. This is commonly seen where a wallet has received many small payments such as from a faucet, or where many payments have been made, splitting the inputs into tiny change amounts.
The fees calculated for your transaction are based on the current fees being paid to miners to be included in a block. Please see the section "I see there is a fee in transactions, who is the recipient? Why do I have to pay?" in our FAQ at https://greenaddress.it/en/faq.html for details. When fees are high this can make your inputs uneconomic to spend. You may wish to try during the weekend when fees are normally lower, or alternately try sending a smaller amount.
The wallet will normally only let you spend confirmed inputs (those that have been mined in a block). If your balance is showing as unconfirmed you may need to wait for some incoming transactions to confirm. In particular if you are trying to send an instant transaction, then the inputs must have at least 6 confirmations. You can try sending the transaction as non-instant if your inputs are not sufficiently confirmed. In general, you should not tick the instant checkbox/select the instant transaction priority unless the receipient has asked you to.
In all of our wallets you can manually set a lower fee which may help your transaction go through albeit slower.
Please also make sure you are using the latest version of our wallet in order to make sure you are paying the cheapest fees possible.

You may wish to try during the weekend when fees are normally lower, or alternately try sending a smaller amount. If you are using the web or Cordova wallet, you can also try with a custom lower fee if you are prepared to wait for the transaction to confirm. As the mempool is currently quite small, you should be able to get away with quite a small fee, particularly if you wait until this weekend/sunday when there is less transaction pressure.
Hi /u/theperfect2,
As per our FAQ at https://greenaddress.it/en/faq.html, we will not bypass 2FA for any reason once you have enabled it. You will need to recover your funds at the end of the nlocktime period. Please let us know if you have any difficulty with the recovery.
I have the same problem and was also able to access the website and not the app. So I moved all of my funds out.
Go to the https://greenaddress.it/en/ website. Click on "Create Wallet". Put in your 12/24 word key. You will be able to access wallet and send funds to where ever. I moved all of my funds out due to unresponsiveness of Green Wallet admins.
