Hey, I whipped up a quick Chrome extension which will delete duplicate songs (based on names) from your current queue with a single click.
Check out the extension's page here and, if you're interested, the source code on GitHub.
I'm not sure if it'll work, but you could try Prsim for Firefox, or App. shorcuts for Chrome.
Haha, thanks. I might actually update it now. That's only about 1/2 of the real one I have on my computer. Transferring my playlists to grooveshark can be really tedious as I have to upload the tracks myself most of the time. Hopefully Grooveshark isn't going down soon like Gizmodo was claiming
Here's the full list up on Pastebin for now
Nice work!
2 suggestions to add:
1. Grooveshark Non-Stop
2. Grooveshark Scroobler
I didn't know cross-tab keyboard listening was possible, but if it is, then I'm definitely going to write in some kind of support for it; I hate switching tabs just to do simple changes like pausing or skipping.
In the meantime, my friend made an extension (tubeshark) that pauses Grooveshark when a youtube video is played (especially useful when browsing reddit.)
As someone who has never truly listened to the Mountain Goats, where should I begin? "The Sunset Tree" appears to be the most well-recieved critically.
EDIT: Consensus appears to be that there is no single album that I should start with, but single songs from their whole catalogue.
This is awesome because my friend just introduced me to the Nujabes the other day via the Samurai Champloo soundtrack. Since it was an anime ost I wasn't expecting much, but damn this stuff was good! Thought I would share this link which lists a pretty thorough list of the original songs Nujabes used while making his tracks (the sample info). Went there to find out what he used for "Aruarian Dance".
I love grooveshark! Recently I have been using Subsonic to host and serve my own library. This isn't as nice looking as grooveshark, but it works with your video too and only costed me about $12 to buy the android app and donate to the dev.
BTW, where can I find the $30 holiday discount for grooveshark?
