There was a plug under the dash I had to locate, then it was just plug and play.
If you dont want to do this, uhaul will install one for a price.

Grab a set of these and some washers, and you can use the bed bolts locations. And one to spare for the engine bay as a negative post. There is a threaded hole these fit right into for a ground.
There is also another version, the Motorcycle Bed Extender. look at some of the Honda dealer sites for a better price.

Yeap, so far you are correct. I swapped the old Anker USB cable to a new one with better specs and so far so good. Less wiggle on the cable connected to the car port. Thank you for your suggestions! I've installed these in my 2020 (interior and license plate.) Easy and has had no problems for some time now.
Yes actually. If you have good wiring skills or if you have a good aftermarket car alarm shop nearby. You can add a tilt sensor and have it wired to a door trigger to set off the factory alarm or you can go with a whole new aftermarket alarm with a tilt sensor. Here is a digital one that will set off an alarm at 3 degrees of tilt. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000GAYN3E/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_VTMD1SF0CME740E3ET4W
I bought this MICTUNING tailgate cover on Amazon for my 2021 and it works well.

I ordered one for $40 shipped, figured I can’t lose even if I only use it a couple of times (I have lots of tents). It’s in a box in the garage, haven’t had a chance to open it up.
I have had that filter in my truck for a couple off months now. So far so good. I work from home so I installed it and forgot I did after three days of not driving it. When I did drive it I was like this is different, It could be just me but it felt like it had better throttle response. A bit more pickup and go. Just an exhaust tip. Had to cut the OEM tip down to fit and attach it on. Made for a nice little upgrade though.

First things first, get a screen protector that’s made of glass. You’ll get little micro scratches from using it. Better to have it on the screen protector that’s replaceable. For fingerprints, I’ve used eyeglass cleaner and microfiber cloths. I don’t want to use cheap rags and get those spirals on the surface

Sorry, when you mentioned the OEM rack limits, I assumed you already had the OEM rails and bars on there.
This should be the correct OEM part for you. Another route to go would be doing a track install (instead of a raised rail install), which would allow you to take the whole system off when not needed.
Same, I would also add these two:
- I did get aplastic "divider" for the center console off amazon that I have found helpful in keeping it relatively "neat"
-This plug in for thecup holder that helps to hold in bigger cups/bottles.
not all cables are the same, i ordered this https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B01A6F3WHG/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and it is way better than before. I do still get drops but it's far less than before.
If you're looking at any aftermarket mods. I'd recommend the North Mountain soft roll up bed cover for ~$150 and the Tac running boards for $180.
These are the LEDs I used: BRISHINE 194 LED Bulbs 6000K... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07RK6FN9T?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
I replaced both license plate lights, the two door lights on the front doors and the interior overhead lights above the backseat. I still have 4 bulbs left over, not sure where else they can go.
Here's the video I used where the bulbs were recommended and how the various bulbs are changed out: https://youtu.be/ndGCCmzaxNk
One piece of advice for the license plate Iights, push BACK on the light and then use a plastic pry tool to pull it out. He explains that in the video but only AFTER he removes it the wrong way. You won't break anything but it's just really easy to remove it correctly the first time once you know how.
If you can figure out how to replace any other lights let me know. Otherwise I guess it's good to have a couple bulbs spare on hand.

Well worth the cost. I’ve carried sheets good and 16’ lumber with and without it. You still have to watch out around corners, but you won’t be tearing up your tailgate or worried about all that loose weight coming loose and flopping around (or worse).
It’s modular too so it stores smaller and I’ve been able to carry ladders and 20’ baseboard bundles on my roof rack with the back supported in the tall position.
I got some LED highbeams and I'd recommend trying something a little more highend than what I got; but they work well enough and are nice and clear and were easy to install.
But the advice I have is running LEDs will sometimes (like once per year or so) trick the truck into thinking it's got a blown headlight bulb and this will throw a code you can't clear. You can do what I did and just take a photo of your audio settings and then unplug the battery for a minute. Good for another year.

It would be useful to me to add a couple extra tiedowns in the lower middle of the bed.
So I replaced those middle-lower bed bolts with a couple of these + fender washers.
I guess my questions are:
1) Is this safe to do? Do those bed bolt locations have the integrity to handle a small load like the normal tie downs in the corners?
2) Are there torque specs somewhere I should be trying to torque these down to?

I bought a 22 RTL and was bummed to find out the same as you. It has leather, heated seats, blind spot monitoring, moonroof, everything but this! And a couple of other minor things, but this is the one feature I wanted from the top trims. Happy to pocket the difference in cost though.
I bought these DRLs on Amazon and couldn’t be happier with them. They dim to the 6v DRL without flickering and my brights are amazing now. Gives it that modern LED look too without that amber look. They have a $5 coupon right now too.

One of the things i like about it is the fisheye rear view. Basically it removes all my blind spots.
If you're going to do any serious off-roading, skip the Ridgeline. If you're going to do that heavy landscaping stuff like a skidsteer or bobcat, skip the Ridgeline. Otherwise, it's a fantastic option.
Ultimately, you're trading off-road/utilitarian features for better street features.
I bought my used '19 Ridgeline from my Ford guy when I went in looking to buy a new Ranger. The used Ridgeline was pretty much the same price as the new Ranger for me, so it became a test between those two. The length is nearly identical to the Ranger.
I liked the Ranger's powertrain, but the Ridgeline had a much nicer cabin, much larger rear seats and better road manners. Granted, a new Ridgeline starts about $10k higher than a Ranger or Tacoma. You're really paying for a nice SUV with a utilitarian bed. It's basically a Honda Passport.
I've done 2 kayaks in the Ridgeline with the hitch-mounted bed extender that comes out when necessary. For me, that ends up being about 3 times a year (We get to leave them in a certain spot during the summer season). I can tow my Miata. I can tow a camper. I can do my home improvement projects. It's great for snow and gravel/fire roads. Anything heavier duty than that and you'll need to reconsider.
I have installed these in both my 1st gen Ridgeline and my girlfriend's 4Runner: KOOMTOOM LED H4 Low Beam... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08L11424R?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
The light pattern is very good, on par with the original halogens. But what's best about them is that they are 5000k color temperature, which means they are a real white color, and not annoyingly blue like most out there - almost everything out there is 6500k. Blue light, which is a higher frequency, scatters more in headlight housings, atmosphere, and water than white or even yellow (which is why yellow has been popular for fog lights). When I installed these, I parked on the street (with the headlights on) and drove by in the opposite direction in my other ride to see if they looked too bright or annoying, and they do not.
They're a big upgrade for the low beams alone, but oh my goodness, the high beams on these are magnificent. My other ride - an FJ Cruiser - has a 20 inch LED light bar installed on the bumper for use when I go out into the backcountry. I was (and kind of still am) planning that for the Ridgeline, but with the high beams on these it seems less necessary.
Good lighting is important for me since I hit a large black bear on a moonless night on a country road a few years ago. Barely was able to see it and begin to brake when it stepped out in front of me - black bear, black night, no streetlights, anemic halogen headlights. That was in my FJ, which fortunately was upgraded with a steel ARB bumper - without which I probably would've severely damaged my front end, but I escaped without damage. It was shortly after that when I upgraded the FJ headlights with LEDs and added the light bar for those backcountry excursions, and a full LED upgrade for every light in the Ridgeline (except dash lights, haven't gotten there yet) was the very first thing I did to it.
I think I am actually going to just attach 2 cables to the battery and zip tie them together. The one I linked from Noco above, and this too: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B074BS8B14/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?smid=A4R9RZO6QOEKY&psc=1
That will result in two plugs available in the engine bay, one for the Noco jumper and one for "other" (which is anything I care to splice an SAE adapter onto).
I'm with you in thinking it would be nice to have this available without popping the hood, but really, it is not that hard to pop the hood. I also wish the inverter were a little beefier, would be amazing if it could run a tiny vacuum cleaner, but... here we are in the real world!
No inverter in my Ridgeline but I have one in my FJ Cruiser that I believe is rated the same (400 peak watts). I've mostly used mine to power an inflatable mattress for group camping and charging various things like power tool batteries or other stuff that doesn't have a 12v input option. I used to have a portable power pack (the kind that acts as a car jump starter and battery bank) that I would leave plugged in so it would get topped off while going on trips (since replaced with one of the newer, smaller jump starter packs that charges via USB-C, so no need for the inverter for that anymore). A popular application for FJ owners is to use them to wire Christmas lights to their roof rack and spare tire around Christmas, lol, but now 12v LED string lights are popular.
I'd say your best bet for the compressor is to switch to a 12v one. Otherwise you'll need a beefier inverter (1500 peak probably) and it's usually recommended those be connected directly to the battery (via clips) with when used (with car running) as I believe they can pull about 13 amps at peak, which can be more than your cigarette lighter can handle (about 10 amps), but your alternator puts out much more.
I've been thinking about installing a cigarette lighter port wired directly to the battery and mounted somewhere under the hood (a marine grade one with a waterproof cover like this), to quick connect high draw stuff or an inverter.

If the error comes and goes, get an OBDII code reader and app on your phone. It will really help the dealership diagnose the problem. I just had a weird "Emission System Problem" notice show up and practically shut my truck down (put it in limp mode) but when they got it in the shop and looked at it, they said it didn't have the code any more. Fortunately I had saved the code information and showed them from my phone.

Smartliner Mats - I bought these and I've been very happy with them; however, the dirtiest I get is doing something stupid on the golf course, or kids after baseball. I'm not sure how the weather tech fit is in comparison, but if they're tighter around the edges in the back, might be better in your case. There's a small amount of exposed carpet around the backseat bump and on the edges in the back. If you rest your left foot on the footrest in the driver seat, they only cover the lower half (heel to midfoot) of your foot, so more exposed carpet to a potentially dirty boot.
That’s same one I got a year ago. It’s trash. I did find a very solid replacement tho. The 4 screws in the back will make the thing last.

They make the night look like day and are great for county driving with deer. Look up the tail light for the right size, they are easy. The fog light are a major pain as they are 6 volt not 12. I replaced mine 5 years ago and had to get a special wired transformer. It was cheap and craps out now. Had to remove the whole front bumper. They probably have new versions of the LEDs now that fit the special Honda voltage. Make sure you confirm the fog light bulbs work with the Ridgeline without having to rewire. You can also replace all the interior bulbs with LEDs that are nice bright white. I highly recommend! Look on eBay for a cheap kit that contains all the bulbs for the Ridgeline.
Congrats. I've already put 14k miles on my 2017 BE since 3/20 and still couldn't be happier.
Couple of things I'd recommend though:
the only thing that i'm unsure of on this one is there's no bracket that holds the metal key blade in place as it's torqued, just one screw. is there any play at all when you turn the key either way? i also got a cheap shell, but it had the little bracket insert that you put the key through before assembling anything else. Like on this one for example
I bought this one for an Accord. It feels super solid and has held up for a couple years now.

It's actually kinda tricky to find a pad narrow enough for a Gen-1 tailgate. This one has been great though. It has thick, cupped padding where the downtube rests on the tailgate and the bikes don't budge on the interstate or tight turns. It's also been on the tailgate for about 4 months straight, rain or shine, and still looks and works great.
I will say though, it seems to only work well for modern bikes that have fatter oval tubing. I once hauled a 90's mountain bike with small round tubing and it didn't want to stay upright.
Don't go to the dealer for a new key unless you have to, it'll be expensive. Key housings can be replaced for $10 and the battery should be just a few bucks more. Something like this will do: amazon.com/Shell-Accord-Insight-Odyssey-Ridgeline/dp/B0873YZP45/ BUT make sure you read the instructions and don't lose the RF chip or throw it away with the old one, when you're transferring the electronic guts of the key -- it looks like a little plastic nub inside the key housing, but the car won't start if it's not within a few inches of the ignition when you turn the key.
"The sunroof isn't working" comes in many forms: If you mean it doens't make any noise or move at all, that's probably the best scenario, maybe a blown fuse ($) or a dead motor ($$). If it moves but grinds gears or skips a tooth while opening, misaligns, or leaks, that entails removing the headliner to get to the mechanism and possibly removing the whole track+glass ($$$). Keep in mind that it might be something simple -- sometimes they just get stuck shut because of disuse and the gasket gets crusty and stuck to the opening. Kind of a crapshoot, but you can get a good clue with a little investigation.
Good luck, tho, looks pretty clean!
I have an OPT 7 Triple LED Lightbar. It uses a four pin connector. You will need a convertor to the factor 7 pin connector if you don't want to mess with splicing the wires.

Any high flow ATF filter will help though.
*Edit : I'm not affiliated or sponsored by Magnefine in any way, in fact I don't have any sponsors.
I picked up a 21 Sport. One thing I can say is that the radio in the sport is trash. Audio quality is pretty terrible and the screen is running Android 4.4. Beyond that (with all things that matter), it drives like a dream. Shifts are buttery smooth and the engine performance is good enough. Obviously the truck bed is amazing.
If you're going for something higher than a sport with a better stereo, I'm sure you're going to love it. I had a 2008 RTS which was a nice truck then I went to a Ram 1500 Warlock which was an insane truck. I could tell the RAM though had a lot of trouble finding gears. I I ended up selling it to vroom to get the Ridgeline because I knew it was the smart choice.
You could also get the sport and take the money that you saved and just put in your own stereo and speakers. That's what I might do in a couple years.

If you do your own brakes and rotors, the age of the rotor (mine was 10yrs old when I did it) may seize on the hub. Use one of these guys to take some of the set screws out. Hammer drill won't do it... Sadly from experience.

I haven't gotten my kayak up on mine yet. Others have recommended these hood tie down straps. Open the hood, close the tube in where you need it and tie to the strap. I might be going with them. How long are your kayaks?

There are actually several of these kinds of things out there and I found that it kept my phone out of the way of all the other systems, below the line of the front window and still high enough that I can look at it without taking my eyes completely off the road.
End sarc
A cheaper one from Amazon. It does the job, but I'm sure there are better ones out there.
https://www.amazon.com/WeatherTech-441791-Custom-Front-FloorLiner/dp/B001GRMX06
Custom Floorliner is 42.91 inches long.
12 inches = 1 foot
1 mile = 5280 feet
32 miles = 168,960 feet
So 168,960 feet = 2,027,520 inches
32 miles = 2,027,520 inches
2,027,520/42.91 = 47,250.52 floor mats
Close enough.

If you want a less blue tone the Philips 4K LED lights are good. Expensive but you can find them on eBay for cheaper.
I installed the same controller and have pulled a 4400lb travel trailer with it, without issue. If you look on Amazon, you can order the Tekonsha P3 with a Ridgeline compatible pigtail that will plug in below the dash on the left side of the driver side lower dash. Link Install took about 15 minutes, 10 of which was anchoring/screwing in the mounting bracket, 4 of which was figuring out where the plug was, and 1 of which was actually connecting the cable and testing the controller.
I have a 2020 and I installed this one about two weeks ago, I ordered a longer cable thing and it works amazingly!! Tekonsha 90195 P3 Electronic Brake Control https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000P17NXQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_X516Z9HR2WR32PDYFKW7?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I ordered this one from Amazon and couldn't be happier: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08C9S198M?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details
I read a lot of complaints about the velcro failing on the Yakima but I liked how it was designed. This mat has a similar padded 'cup' to hold the frame and protect it and it's also far cheaper. I've left it on the tailgate for almost a month now through rain and shine and the its holding up great. I don't use an ebike with it, but it holds my 29er MTB great.
My absolute favorite RL accessory, bar none, since I own a dog that used to like to jump in the front seat when I wasn't in the car.
that is great!
I use these which are cheap and fold flat for times when you don't need them

What do you keep in there? I keep: cheap seat covers for front seats (only used in very muddy or snowy times), tie down stuff, blanket and pillows for backseat passengers, jumpstarter, a few basic tools

I’ve got this one, and it is awesome. Fits like a glove and has a ton of volume.
Get this prep pen to scrape the rust area clean and then use OEM touch up paint.
So many times I've seen cars with huge rust spots on the doors and fenders that I know started as door ding and went untreated for years. I little effort up front can save thousands down the road.
I’ve got a 75 pound Ridgeback. We bought a Dog Hammock for the back seat and he loves to ride in it.
He doesn’t like to jump in the truck, but once’s he’s in he’s happy for long car rides too. The hammock has storage for leash and toy, and has been durable for past 3 years. It also has protected seats well, when we put humans back there and take the cover out, the seats look practically brand new.
It's good quality! Best part is it has spring loaded clamps where the tailgate is at to keep the cover locked to the bed once you install the rails. I always thought there wouldn't be such a thing! Haha! Here is the link! https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00M80BQ5S/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_VBT4Fb8W3MA9X?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

It plugs into the Sirius/XM port in the back of the radio and gives you Bluetooth integration that is factory quality. For wired aux input, I removed one 12v in the front and added this in its place:

I got the large seat cover from pets mart and then these https://aax-us-east.amazon-adsystem.com/x/c/QsyR9DUx-hL-55QWd53pjQ0AAAF1dIMiOAEAAAH2ATivcCg/https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01AE6GG0W?pd_rd_i=B01AE6GG0W&pd_rd_w=eJkmE&pf_rd_p=b40599b4-ffb2-4eff-810f-3b3d5ae0f9f2&pd_rd_wg=ExKFR&pf_rd_r=J...
There are two places to hook up near the hitch of the Ridgeline and then the other end was wrapped around the other truck’s frame. I used this strap from amazon; Presa 21079 Heavy Duty 10000 lb.... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B011ARI3FK?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
I saw them struggling and the front wheels spinning so I’d assume it’s a 4x4 if the front wheels had power?
