just get a universal one.
Search amazon, or bikebandit. Here's one, though I didn't specifically check if it'll work with that bike - but it should, since 'universal' and all.
I already replaced mine since I had to anyway to account for LED bulbs. It doesn't hurt to go all LED and just get an LED capable relay.
People do seem to be desensitized to alarms now. They sell GPS trackers now that you subscribe to cheaply. You can use one of those, and tell the cops exactly where to go :P https://www.amazon.com/LandAirSea-Waterproof-Magnetic-Personal-Location/dp/B06XVZ6Y4T/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=gps+tracker&qid=1599814476&refinements=p_72%3A2661618011&rnid=2661617011&sr=8-3
I'm having good luck with this cover
My first bike so first cover so I don't exactly have any experience. But it seems to do what I need and was a good price. I bought it as a recommendation from one of Motojitsu's videos. I've only had it for 2 months so I can't speak for longevity. But it keeps the water off my bike.
I ride daily and only leave my bike outside. This is the cover I got.
https://www.amazon.com/Favoto-Motorcycle-Waterproof-Protection-Motorcycles/dp/B07D741PVK/
I bought a brake lock with it as a package. I only use the lock about half the time but the cover is on every night. Knocks the mirrors around, but I think that would happen with any cover. Other than that it has been grand.
I just ordered these for my 2015 Phantom. $100 and the reviews seemed all positive and most people seemed surprised at their quality for the price. Have not received them yet, though.
I bought these for my 1100. They look real sleek and are about 9.5 inches, so a few inches off stock.
The older vlx 600s(pre 2000) don't have a gear reduction starter so need all the voltage and amps you can give it. I have a black 91' that looks just like yours. I'd recommend this one on Amazon. It's $29.99 and has high reviews. It's the right size too, the (pre2000) vlx 600 uses a short battery. Just make sure and get a battery tender/maintainer if you don't ride often.

I live in in a busy apartment neighborhood so I'm a little paranoid about someone taking my Shadow. I got the Xena XX15 mostly because if someone tries messing with the bike, I may have a chance of hearing it. I can hear the alarm from about ~60 ft away inside my apartment. My bedroom does face the parking lot so that may help.
The alarm is pretty sensitive, it has gone off when kids have touched my bike (leaning against it or slightly moving the handle bars). Once activated, the alarm only goes off for about 15 seconds and then stops unless it continues to sense movement, then it continues. This could be a good or bad thing, because you don't have to fear it going off all night, but also, you only have 15 seconds to hear it unless someone is avidly messing with the bike.
It comes with 3 keys. It fits through the holes in the stock brake rotor just fine.
If you're uncomfortable with testing the spark plugs when pulled from the cylinder, they make an inline spark tester that can help verify that the sparkplugs is firing.

This (https://www.amazon.com/VIVOHOME-Hydraulic-Motorcycle-Lift-1500Lb/dp/B0732WP8D9?ref_=ast_slp_dp) exact lift is sold under many different names all around the world. I have full red one branded by Motonet. My friend has the exact same in black, branded 24mx. That Amazon one I found is little bit expensive, I paid around 100€ for mine.
It has been great, it is little bit tight to fit under my 600 Shadow, but that bike is lowered way too low anyways. It can go high enough to also be used with dirt bikes.
I hate it too.
I just bought a AirHawk seat cushion. Like I just got it today as I post this. Haven't even had a chance to try it out yet. If you want give me a holler in a couple days and I can give my opinion.
I just did a search on Amazon. I used this one. It's only been on for a couple of weeks, so it's a little early to judge. Works so far.
I went with this pump from Amazon and I've been very pleased, no issues whatsoever. I was able to replace mine from underneath and with the side covers off. It wasn't easy and took a bit or time, but it's better than pulling the swing arm off. Caltric Fuel Pump compatible with... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B014DWMPG2?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
The lights always have power - they pull power from the green wire, which does not route through the signal switch - it's from a different part of the bike's wiring harness.
You just need to switch the ground -- make a path to ground, the lights for that side blink.
For simplicity I'd say just leave the running light circuit disconnected, and then just switch the signal circuits. A SPDT switch like this should work.
https://www.amazon.com/Heavy-Rocker-Toggle-Switch-Waterproof/dp/B0824NWRLC
Should be able to wire ground to the middle terminal, left circuit to one side, right circuit to the other and then be able to turn your blinkers on and off that way.
The original light housing might also have all of the bilker wiring inside of it, a lot of Honda do. You might want to consider where to hide all of that if you go with aftermarket light.
The original light is usually pretty tight packet, you might run out of space to do led bulb conversion.
Have you consider keeping the original light as it is, and getting separate led fog lights on the side of the forks. Something like this could actually look pretty good on 500 vtc.
https://www.amazon.com/BlingLights-Compatible-Goldwing-Chrome-Auxiliary/dp/B07BN1V2PB
(That was just first product I found, better do some research what light kit to buy.)
You may need to purchase a blinker relay if it's not built into the lights already. https://www.amazon.ca/2-Pin-Electronic-Flasher-Motorcycle-Signal/dp/B073J82PNF
Thanks, it was!

Unfortunately I don't know, the previous owner installed it himself, as he was a mechanic, sorry!
Rivco used to make what you need. You might find them on eBay. Chances are some of their other frame mount pegs will work...but they are pricey. You might just find some used crash bars and go with cheap pegs.
I gave an 03 Shadow Ace 750. I installed an airhorn called the Nautilus Stebel. It’s and awesome horn. I’ve had it for 4 years now. It’s louder than a car horn. Here’s the Amazon link.

I bought these for my Shadow Aero and 1100F.
Mikuni Chokes. Threaded in and seem like the right fit and alot like what TJ sells. Still gotta get bike running and will update you as i know but if you k ow anyone else doing shit save em a dime
Amazon, $89 when I got them. They're the same Z-bars everyone sells (for like $150+). Found them for cheaper on Amazon. They're not pinned for controls or slotted for internal wires or anything, just basic bars. I think they're fairly solid, powder coat on them is fairly nice.

I recently purchased this for my 2002 shadow. I'm very happy with it as it has an on-off power switch so it won't drain battery and if they wireless charger or a wired charger depending on what you are looking for. Not sure if you use a phone holder when on your bike but I do as I use Bluetooth music so when in car mode and hook to Spotify it is very easy to change songs while going down the road. Handlebars look similar to the ones I have although I'm sure they aren't exactly the same. All stock cables just pulled a little slack from under the tank. Throttle has to be put on before mounting the bars unless you want to take the cables loose and readjust them. Oh and you have to either drill the bars for the controls alignment pins or file them off. We drilled the bars.

You won't believe the bags! $33 on Amazon for both bags. I didn't expect they would be anything worth keeping and I would return them instantly. The reviews were kind of mixed. Mine are great. The best $33 I've ever spent. Genuine leather. The green canvas liner is awesome. I immediately rubbed them with beeswax. They seem to be real good quality. Straight from India, lol. Like some of the other reviewers noted, the glue was still wet! They must make them on demand. The metal parts of the buckles feel a little lightweight and we'll probably rust but maybe I can swap them out somehow.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001AMZCOG/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Those are the bags I ordered. I hope it looks good, as I said I do think I prefer the slim look without them but It's a pain having to carry everything on my back. figured at least these are matching colors to my bike with the grey/black lol. I prefer the look of the hard cases that more fit the contour of the fender but they were really expensive everywhere I looked, and ones I found that were cheaper had pretty bad reviews as being real cheap material. These are fairly cheap and most the reviews said they were surprised with the quality for the price so gonna try them out. I don't know much about the mounts that are already there or how they work. I'm assuming I'll have to take them off to put these on, idk. Kinda learning as I go. I did hear from the people posting here that the Viking bags were a pain so I stopped looking at them. They were pretty expensive as well.
Has the added benefit of charging your iPhone wirelessly.
Grips four corners, won't drop your phone.
Couple this with a bluetooth helmet, and you'll never get lost.
You're welcome even if it wasn't very helpful. I have my current bags attached to the chrome bar you have. Mine is made a little different but if you go to a hardware store you can get little u brackets with rubber isolators in them. Fit the bag and mark out where you want it to sit and then drill the bag. Use a bolt, fender washer and a nylon locking nut to attach the bag to the bracket after you wrap the u bracket around the metal bracket on the bike.
Here is the type of bracket so you know what I'm talking about. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01IT43WVM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glc_fabc_SADTX6048E55QK68WH32?psc=1
I guess you're just looking for a bulb. But I just ordered this whole headlight and I really like it. It is black shell so it matches my bike instead of that big ol Chrome looking thing. I haven't had time to figure out a mount yet, but that probably won't be a big problem. But I did hook it up and it works great. Feels really solid and nice. Not sure how it will work in the long run but seems real quality.
I was able to find the carb kit on Amazon

When I wipe it away it weeps out again so I’m pretty sure it’s gonna be the seal. Gotta wait 2 weeks for the part tho. At least it’s just the start of the season.

This is everything you need. The bucket is solid and installs easily. The light is a Chinese copy of a JW Speaker and is pretty decent.
It's normal that incandescent lightbulb goes a little dim based on idle speed.
No you don't need to change the bucket at all. Just change the bulb.

You have to use the one specific for motorcycles. LED uses a lot less power, which lightens the load of your electrical system and engine.
I bought this for my 2005 Spirit, it fit with minimal fuss.

Do you have any idea what the key looks like using pics off the internet? You can use a 1 inch cobalt drill bit to drill both locks out and then replace them with the same type of barrel cylinder lock that your ignition key uses. Then you don't have to worry about it anymore. It's pretty easy to rekey them to work with your ignition key. You don't need to use all the pins. You only need at least 1 to 3 pins for a barrel cylinder to work properly. The honda ignition key can fit into most cam locks like this set https://www.amazon.com/Kohree-Cylinder-Replacement-Chrome-Finish-Thickness/dp/B085T55FWW/ref=sr_1_2?dchild=1&keywords=dual+sided+cam+lock&qid=1599756614&sr=8-2
If you don't need a ton of space, I had great luck with one of these:
https://www.amazon.com/Chase-Harper-USA-Water-Resistant-Tear-Resistant/dp/B000GROZJE
It's a bag, little smaller than a backpack. It has zippers on the sides, and inside are 4 bungee cords that can be adjusted to reach your fenders or frame. It sits on the passenger seat.
Also, it has 2 straps and can be worn like a backpack (and the bungees tucked back away), so you can take it with you when you're off the bike.
It'll fit a 13" laptop, I believe. I've loaded it up with some pretty heavy shit and never once had any of the straps come loose while riding.
Oh shit, sorry, didnt see that you're the only owner, yeah man, just tuck it away so it's not in the way and then use it during the winter. I'd grab one off Amazon if you don't already have one https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B000CITK8S/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_-vwtFb5FEQCNK

Great mesh jacket with decent padding in all the important places. It's not the full shell stuff, but it's a heck of a lot better than fake leather ;)
Also has a removeable liner for colder or rainy days. Our summers are too hot for leather here, and I've had some other mesh jackets that are cooler but they also seem to usually lose shape and sag a lot. This one stays in a good shape and has held up for over a year for super cheap price.
Yo! I got mine for similar reasons..older bike so it upgrades the look a bit and most aftermarket lights won’t fit the stock housing. I actually went the amazon route and got HOZAN Black 5.75inch Motorcycle... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B071D3TPQ5?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share with a Wisamic LED headlight. Both pretty affordable and fit great. No complaints as of yet
