Surprisingly these don't seem to hold much if any premium compared to the other versions. The median sale price on Discogs is $8, the same as the reissue price https://www.discogs.com/Hum-Electra-2000/release/1547301
Plus this first edition doesn't have Diffuse, so you'll be missing out on a great song.
Tim Lash is an amazing guitarist and it is a crime against humanity that he hasn't done more music. As for Glifted it was a decent band, a bit on the weird side but good, my main complaint is that it doesn't show case Tim's highly melodic rhythm/lead hybrid guitar style like Hum does. BTW Tim does also have another band that recorded an album called Sick Spider, it's basically a pop version of Glifted. http://www.allmusic.com/album/sick-spider-mw0002138669
I found these guys on the old mp3.com back in 2000 or 2001. At that point the band was pretty much over with. I ordered a cd and it came with a handwritten note from Jeremy thanking me for buying the record. To me it is the best I ever found on that website.
You type in a band name "Hum" and clicked similar artists. The results varied from studio quality to boom box microphone recordings.
The sound quality is a nice mix that fits right in the middle of YPAA and DIH. Just like the Hum albums I think this song is one of the weaker ones it will give a renewed interest with a replay and it is like rediscovering it all over again.
For the guitarists I have tabs for bleary eyed me and King Valley 55. Here is a link of me butchering bleary eyed me http://www.soundclick.com/player/single_player.cfm?songid=9372452&q=hi&newref=1
I remember there being a thing on matts record labels website. They were sold out of course. This randomly popped up on amazon. Here is the link looks like they have 11 left so jump on it! https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01DD5N280/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_fPwFybHDHN2PW
Amazon. I actually spent more on the frame than the record, but I think it's worth it.
Now I need to find a clear blue Downward vinyl and hang it beside Astronaut.
Amazon was my first go to, and the only versions I found of Electra 2000 on there were used CD copies. Knowing there is a direct link was damn helpful. Thank you!
Fillet Show will just have to be a white whale for a while, I suppose.
Electra 2000 is on Amazon too. I personally just found that out a few weeks ago.
