Good question...
I know that you can do for the URL (?:idol|chan).sankakucomplex.com/
Maybe you can do the same with images like (images1|2|3|4).
Good way to test regex commands out is the regex builder tool at https://www.onworks.net/software/windows/app-regular-expression-builder?amp=0
Are you using a VPN?

I use NordVPN, and when it's connected, the image zooming fails for me on eBay too. But when I disconnect, wait a few minutes, and refresh the page, Imagus does its magic again.

+edit+ this is in Firefox

Since Opera is same as Chrome, that would be basically mirroring, and I don't really see the point uploading/updating the exact same file, and filling descriptions/forms multiple times on multiple places. You can use this.
I update the Firefox version regularly, but none of the versions I've sent were reviewed since Jun 16 (almost six months, which also makes me think if there is a reason for me to continue sending updates there).
In Chrome you have to use an extra extension to manage referrers URLs to specific sites, in Firefox you can flip the network.http.referer.spoofSource
to true
in about:config
, which could solve the problem for many similar sites.
I use Referer Modifier on firefox, and have it remove
on sankakucomplex.com
. If you're on brave, a chrome extension like this should work in a similar fashion.
sankakucomplex is a different issue.
An earlier private message of mine about Referer Control:
> I've simply checked Block
and 3rd
at the default referer for all other sites
:, and it works fine. Not guaranteed that this setup won't break some other sites.
I wanted this one too, but I didn't have the motivation, since I rarely encounter such cases, but probably because I have referer info disabled.
For Firefox in about:config
network.http.sendRefererHeader
to 1
, for Chrome use this extension (there are extension for Firefox too, if you want to fake referer urls).
Re: Hover extensions no longer working New postby longhairfish on Wed Dec 04, 2019 11:11 am
This extension stopped working because we had to move all of the pictures to a new domain.
The Author of this extension gives you the ability to report a bug if you want to.
You will need a github.com account to report the issue. But someone has already done that.
You can report the bug if you wish.
https://github.com/extesy/hoverzoom/issues
Tell him imagefap changed domains.
OLD : imagefapusercontent.com and x.fap.to
NEW : cdn.imagefap.com
If this guy still maintains the extension he will know the changes we made pretty quickly because imagefap is indeed on his list of sites. User avatar longhairfish Site Admin

Oh wow, I wrote Hover Zoom off years ago when the adware kerfuffle happened. I am glad to see that it was resolved. Thanks for posting.
Edit since there has been some interest in this post: I am now using Hover Zoom+ since its code is way more easily available on GitHub and it is definitely active to boot.
FetLife updated their image links to fetX.fetlife.com (0, 1, 2, etc).
I'm not familiar with Imagus (dug into it to see if they had working FetLife support). Ended up making this patch for Hover Zoom to fix their support, which might help someone familiar with Imagus add something to the Sieve: https://github.com/extesy/hoverzoom/compare/master...iambic9:patch-1
There are direct links to extension files at every release (you need the crx one for Chrome, also I guess that you have to use beta or dev version to be able to install them from outside of the Chrome Store).
The url is http://tiny.cc/Imagus most probably you typed it with small "i" which is not the same. This URL is case sensitive. the full URL is https://97e572bee9692acbd88571f49c074e24ffd9c03b.googledrive.com/host/0Bx8fnUCX4W2IUTNPT0s2eUFDQms/
> https://github.com/gorhill/uMatrix/releases/tag/0.9.9b12
Nope. Never even heard of it. The only two extensions that seem to me to even potentially be relevant are RES 5.4.3 and Stop Animations 1.12. I've disabled both and see no difference.
As an additional data point - That same URL in my original post works perfectly fine with Imagus on Firefox 51.0.1 on the same Mac.
Do you have uMatrix(beta) installed? The latest version moves videos into a new column/category and it may be blocked by default. You can re-grant the permissions for those sites.
https://github.com/gorhill/uMatrix/releases/tag/0.9.9b12
p.s. In case you ask, Imagus tries to load the video version on Imgur, gfycat and such before falling back to gifs, which should still be categorised as "image" in uMatrix.
I had the same problem and stumbled upon this post. Updating the sieve didn't help me either (but good to know about it anyway). Turns out the trouble maker was Privacy Badger.
[](/rscootacheer) Visit a page with a gfycat link and have imagus fail on it. Then open the Privacy Badger settings and allow zippy.gfycat.com.
You could add this rule, so it will zoom down-scaled images that are embedded with background-image
:
{"gab":{"img":"^(ipr\.gab.ai/[\da-f]{40}/[\da-f]+|gab\.com/media/image/bz-[\da-f]{13})","to":"$&"}}
But this won't load the larger images, because there are larger images, but their URLs don't seem to be predictable. Smaller -> Larger.
