08 G35x, HDD based dealer-only map upgrade. ~$500 and the screen is woefully outdated as well. Haven't updated and using better choice of Google Maps. I'd spend a fraction of the $129 tops on a proper dash phone holder and google maps as its updated all the time WITH traffic.
Go with the wma1000 on amazon. You would only need an additional power source via cig port, but will stream using the iPod connector over Bluetooth.

on my Amazon list for when I do need to replace mine. Color-wise they should do and they don't claim to be super, extra bright which in my experience means they burn hotter than normal and can't last as long.
Something like this should work: https://smile.amazon.com/QOFOWIN-Bluetooth-Receiver-Wireless-receiver-new/dp/B074WQRPFG/ref=sr_1_5?dchild=1&keywords=bluetooth+audio+dongle+car&qid=1624219751&sr=8-5
That's just an example of one I found so research and pick one that you are confident about. With this one, if you look at images # 4 and 5, it shows plugging this USB device directly into an audio-capable USB port (like your car).
It's the PerformancePackage mount and hardwire kit - about $45 on Amazon.

You have to pry the Molex connector apart a bit to fit the leads, but the install is straightforward.
You get what you pay for with led bulbs. $0.40 Chinese led bulbs will be typically be pretty blue and dim, with short life expectancy and limited warranty/support. I went through three cheap sets in my first year of owning the G37 actually.
The ones in your eBay link have 5050 led chips which are older and don't output as light as newer led chips like 5630, 2835, 5730.
I would suggest Diode Dynamics HP5 bulbs in 6000k for maximum brightness and reliability. $20/pair of bulbs (you'll need three for doors, dome, and license plate, maybe four if you want to do the trunk too). Pricey but I can vouch that these are bright, true to color, and won't flicker within a few months. Plus 3 yr warranty with solid customer support. They also have some cool easy diy tail light and fog light mods. https://www.diodedynamics.com/store/listed-by-vehicle/infiniti/q50.html
On the lower budget spectrum, these Amazon sets have newer 2835 led chips which are a lot brighter than 5050s. The build quality is good but I'm unsure on longevity since I only tried them for a week or two now on our Honda Accord. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01DE7UC6C/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_-qThzb33S7D57
It's a splashguard to limit water, scraping, and debris hitting the engine. it should just bolt and clip on, whenever you get an oil change shops will remove it each time unless it has the hatch for draining (mine doesn't).
I just took it to the shop where I normally get my oil changed and asked if they had time to hurry and bolt it in for me. I got it done for free, but it shouldn't take a shop more than ten minutes.
The Z1 version is nice and comes with everything, but the generic one I got only cost 50, but you'll need to buy the bolts and clips so It's up to you. good luck!
THis is what I used
Would highly recommend it. Then just get an aux adapter. Works like a charm.
I have a 2008 G35x, I bought a generic Bluetooth adapter with aux from amazon and I have that connected to my car via a rca cable, its been working really well. this is the one I bought
Just got an email back from invery and they confirmed that is the right adapter for the Infiniti models you just have to buy this power adapter on Amazon to connect to the 30pin to power the Bluetooth adapter. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0026AG38K/
If the car already has the double-din dashboard then you can just buy a carplay headunit and drop it in with like an hour of effort.
If you have the stock head unit then you'll need to buy one of these (I am not endorsing this seller, look around for the best price.)
If you want your steering wheel audio controls to still work then you'll need to get a chip that can send signals to the new headunit. (This is an example)[https://www.amazon.com/Axxess-ASWC-1-Universal-Steering-Interface/dp/B00B4PJC9K/] but you'll need to get one that matches your headunit's input.

So my setup is sorta like u/Banksta926 but hella cheaper, and it super clear and works great!
I have the (https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01N016UWA/ref=cm_cr_arp_mb_bdcrb_top?ie=UTF8) it’s an insignia Bluetooth receiver, It was an open box when I got it from bestbuy for like $6 Lol You can find it on ebay for like $6-$10 (model- insignia ns-mbtk35)
So I have a 12v connector in the center console, I power the insignia receiver thru micro usb, even tho it has a 6 hour battery so you can take it out too if you ever wanted to, but why do that, right?. In the box you get a 2.5mm to 3.5mm adapter too, just use a 3.5mm to rca stereo audio aka the red and white cable to the aux port (https://www.amazon.com/3-5mm-Stereo-Audio-Cable-Adapter/dp/B01JEBLEIC)
Auto turns on every time I start the car and my phone auto connects to it! The only con is that the receiver has the mic built-in so not too great on talking thru the center console Lmao but when it comes to music, you can’t beat it!
Hope this helps!
There is an Bluetooth usb dongle that you can connect to a cig lighter and aux to the red and white connectors in ur center console and it turns on when u turn on the car and will automatically connect to ur phone. The link is below and never had any problems with. There are cheaper but this brand has never broken on me once.

I use a Nulaxy KM28 which has full skip button control. The screen is separated from the adapter plug (wired) which allows mounting on the dash or vent, basically the next closest thing to steering controls. The LED screen is the only car bluetooth adapter I’ve found that will display what you are playing, including streaming radio, Spotify, etc.
I wish. I tried the GROM audio thing, but did not have luck even after much fooling with it. Their newer stuff might work, dunno.
I ended up buying ~$20 bluetooth speaker off amazon and hanging it from the mount I use to hold my phone (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07239JFZT) Can't comment on it's music quality, but it works great for audio books and navigation audio.
Feels like a micky mouse solution, and every now and then I try to think of a better way, but no luck yet.
Got an 06 with 38k on it, but now I feel as though I paid WAY too much. I guess it was a supply and demand thing. I searched for a month or so and they were all in the same price range... seemed to be a good deal. (The pool was small, I was looking at cars with <45k miles).
I've kept mine pretty clean and did stealth mods (I like the 100% factory look). Added a rear cam to stock navi and even get a live video stream from my quadcopter on it ~$1000 including the quadcopter.

Pretty fucked they make people pay for this.
They make stickers for these, i have these on mine. Imo looks better than blank, you can just use clear brake paint over it to protect it.
Short answer is you are very unlikely to recoup the cost of the extended warranty if your vehicle is in good condition now. Consumer Reports did a survey and found out that 55% of the people who bought a warranty did not use it at all. Among those who used it the average amount they saved in repair costs was less than the cost of the warranty itself. Also make sure that you are purchasing the warranty from Infiniti and not a third party scam.
Looks sharp! Do yourself a favor and get some new door lock knob pins. Such an inexpensive upgrade but major improvement over the plastic ones where you can feel the seam from the mold.

Okay, that's an impact wrench. This is a torque wrench: https://www.amazon.com/GEARWRENCH-85066-Micrometer-Torque-Wrench/dp/B00HQGI4CC
Your impact wrench should definitely be able to bust those loose, you just might need a combination of extensions and "wobbly" bits to reach the bolts.
Have you tried needle nose pliers or Modeling tweezers? Just put some masking tape on the paint to protect it and give that a try.
I wouldn't hesitate to change it at that mileage. Ideally it would have been changed earlier (every 30k miles, for example) and 1-2 times for really "good" maintenance but it's not terrible at this mileage. Only downside is a special ($20 on Amazon) tool is needed to fill it.
In your center console you should have the older iPod connection, I bought a Bluetooth adapter and have had music ever since.
This is the one I bought, if you buy it and send them a message they will also give you the power adapter free. The Bluetooth connects automatically and you retain all of your native controls, and steering wheel controls

Update: Found you can get a portable multimedia Apple car play monitor. You can use Aux to hook up through your audio system. It has a dash mount. A little pricey but less than $400 but way more cost effective than getting a whole new head unit, installation. I got mine off of Amazon called IYING but Coral Vision or Intellidash+ are good options. Just have to deal with wires but easy to hookup Coral Vision And easy to put into other cars as well that are older

Contrary to opinions on "the forums", Nissan transmissions are pretty reliable and are not picky about the ATF they use. You can obviously use Nissan Matic-S as well as Castrol full synthetic ATF, Valvoline MaxLife ATF, and so on. Just do a single drain (around 3.5 quarts will drain out so buy 4 quarts) and refill it with the same amount. It is tricky to refill on these though. You can buy an adapter that threads into the pan and it's fairly inexpensive.
For the transfer case (since this is an AWD model), use the same fluid you put in the transmission. For the front and rear differential, any quality 80W-90 gear oil is fine. You can use non-synthetic or synthetic.
Here's the adapter: https://smile.amazon.com/CTA-Tools-7425-Adapter-Infiniti/dp/B019MN7OEU/ref=sr\_1\_6?dchild=1&keywords=nissan+atf+adapter&qid=1621361509&sr=8-6

Absolutely, it does feel lighter then OEM but fits fine, i put about 10k miles on it and i still dont have any visible rock chips or any severe scratches
I've personally never found or heard of a touch up paint for the oem wheel finishes.
The dealership can send it to "their" refinisher for around $175 per wheel. Some places ask that you give them another wheel for reference while they strip and color match the repair wheel.
Duplicolor Graphite wheel paint looks like it could work for you to touch up small blemishes without looking bad. Experiment on plastic spoons (dollar store) and try different base colors under the graphite paint to see how much translucence there is after a few LIGHT coats. Hold up each spoon to a clean rim, and go with the combo that best matches.
08 G35X. Super reliable engine as others with similar model and year have pointed out. Make sure to have as complete a history as can get (fluids have been changed, hoses, belts). Check for rust (especially if northern states car). Depending on how hard you drive it and how many miles you put on it (city/highway), it will def last the next couple of years (assuming commuter and ~10k per year). Echoing the full synthetic oil change and premium fuel as a must.
I would also invest in a bluetooth OBD reader. I purchased and use this to diagnose any check engine light. Only works with Android and the app Torque Lite works great with it.
https://www.amazon.com/BAFX-Products-Wireless-Bluetooth-Diagnostic/dp/B005NLQAHS
Castrol Full Synthetic ATF is suitable for this. While there are some hardcore people who will scream that anything other than OEM-spec'd fluid will immediately cause destruction, the rest of the world realizes that Nissan doesn't even build these transmissions - Aisin does and they make transmissions for multiple automakers so any auto-brand specific fluid is just marketing.
The hardest part is Soccer4555 refers to. You can use this adapter though.

This was the scanner used.
After I tried cleaning the sensor and resetting the abs module the U1000 code went away and didn't come back. But the C1101 was still there. I'll rescan again since I didn't really take a short drive after resetting it.
But the TCM modules I have no idea, hopefully it's related to the ABS sensor and it clears after I change it.
Edit. I did add a remote starter by Start-X
I have no clue what kind of inputs your car has, but I have an 09 g37 with no nav and this works flawlessly with excellent audio quality. You can probably find whatever cable/adapter you need for your car at any electronics section.

Matic-S - $11/quart, free shipping - at Amazon
Definitely haven't seen any mentions of Matic-S going away. I have heard that dealerships will use "universal" ATFs and I'm not surprised. I've read plenty of things saying that Nissan ATF is a perfectly good fluid, but it's not anything proprietary (like Honda DW-1). There is also circumstantial evidence that Matic-J is in fact Castrol Import Multi-Vehicle ATF and Matic-S is Castrol Full Synthetic ATF.
Well I will post them but if you look it up on amazon you can put your make and model in to see if they’re compatible on the page you make the purchase on. Again I know it’s for the vq35 and vq37 engine. If your vehicle is compatible you will need to purchase 2 as they only ship in singles.
I’m assuming m35 signifies the vq35 motor for your vehicle? Should be good to go with that. They went in like a dream and I’m really enjoying the increased throttle response.

I'm in the same boat as you are, but with an EX37 2013. No NAV, no bluetooth streaming, no AUX ports. Something I never thought I'd have to look into when I shopped for a 2013 Infiniti. :( My mistake, I took it as granted since most reviews online showed these cars with similar years with an AUX port.
Most of the solutions are expensive (and also hard to find) if you insist on keeping the steering controls. I thought about replacing the whole screen with an OEM touch screen, but that would probably mean to replace the whole head unit as well. Probably around 500$. The other solution is the one you mentioned, the GROM VLINE2, but it comes up to about a 1000$ with fees, shipping and taxes for a Canadian like myself.
For now, I use an FM transmitter but I do lose steering controls. I've tried 2 so far, both from VICTSING on Amazon. The first one kept disconnecting, the second one is better so far, but I get hickups and also a hissing sound through the speakers. We are far from a perfect solution. I decided to combine this with a bluetooth media control button but haven't had the chance to try it yet. Here's the link: https://www.amazon.com/Bluetooth-Tsumbay-Assistant-HandsFree-Navigation/dp/B07MLZ3B7W/
Let me know if you ever find something that works better without costing a thousand dollars, it's been driving me crazy for the past weeks.
I bought a "kit" like that for my '08 sedan. The Amazon listing spec'd it was for my model and it included replacements for ALL of the interior lights. They all work fine except for the license plate bulbs. Strangely I have failing bulbs for my wife's Fusion's license plate bulbs too. Maybe the light assembly/socket is just too unsecured and they shake or rattle enough to damage the bulbs. I replaced them with standard, incandescent bulbs and they're fine (meaning the bulb sockets aren't damaged).
These are the ones I bought. Looks like these should fit your car.
$13, update Google Maps, problem solved
Roads, routes, POI's, restaurants open up daily and factory nav's literally cannot update fast enough. Not to mention traffic is an extra subscription (at least in my 08 G sedan). Google maps takes care of it all

If you want a simple and easy way to clean then I’d suggest taking a look at the Sylvania headlight restoration kit which can be had for around 20ish bucks on Amazon. The kit comes with everything you need to sand and polish the headlights, all you need is a spray bottle of water or a garden hose. Here are the results that I got from using the kit on my G.
Go on eBay, Amazon, etc and buy a replacement cable.
Then go to Coolstream and buy their CarPro adapter (BMW version, trust me - their online selector will choose this one anyway). Then go to Amazon and buy this. You'll need a USB charger and a short USB cable to power the extender bit. Get it all hooked up and you'll be streaming from Spotify, Apple Music, Pandora, etc (I've used/tested those three personally), ALL track details will display on the center screen, and your steering wheel controls will work for changing tracks.

I used this kit from Amazon (Not an affiliate link). Expect to spend about an hour and a half on it but it's more than worth it. I will let you know that the kit I linked does not come with a UV sealant which is definitely something you will need. If you don't seal your headlights, they will go back to the yellow fogged look after a few months.
I had the same issue with my '09 G37. I purchased this item on Amazon and it injects power into the 30pin and allows the connector to work. I hope this helps.

I bought the Fortin Evo off of Amazon and have been using it for years. Pretty straightforward installation instructions, too.
Top picture is after I installed the passenger side fog lamp that went out. Bottom is after both were replaced.
If your clutch packs are worn out replacing the fluid can make slipping worse, but your transmission was probably almost dead by that point anyway.
I replaced trans fluid in mine recently. Here is a tool to add fluid to your transmission:
CTA Tools 7425 ATF Filler Adapter... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B019MN7OEU?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
You don't absolutely need this and every video I've seen uses a homemade adapter but I would rather spend $20 for a proper tool than risk having my fabricated tool coming out and dumping transmission fluid all over the place.
Buy them yourself on Amazon (ouch, just checked and they've jumped up in price !) and have DT or Walmart install them and program them. Walmart will do it very inexpensively.
Here's a single sensor for $31. They sell a 2-pack that was cheaper by buying two at a time but that price advantage is gone now.
Absolute sex machine!! Looks amazing dude. Put this stuff on your tires https://www.amazon.com/Meguiars-Hot-Shine-Tire-Foam/dp/B000EOVLR8/ref=sr_1_16?keywords=tire+detailer&qid=1560979041&s=gateway&sr=8-16
This is the bluetooth unit https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00YPATOEE/ref=ppx_od_dt_b_asin_title_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 You will also need one of these because when you are powering the bluetooth dongle with that rear cig lighter it will add a ton of static to the sound unless you have this installed. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B019393MV2/ref=ppx_od_dt_b_asin_title_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Ill look for pics on my phone
It's not one of the FM transmitters, but I used a Nulaxy BR01 in my old 2007 Maxima. The jack comes right out and can be replaced by a standard 3/8" to 3/8" extension cable (like if you wanted to hide it in your center console). It worked great for streaming music and handling calls.
The only issue with these things that I could see is they lose the connection once your phone is out of range and don't pick it up again until you turn it off and back on (the transmitter, not the phone).
As far as using the steering controls, probably the volume will work as it's just like using any aux device (mine worked in the Maxima). For track back/forward, stuff like that, you probably need something more complex that can be integrated. At which point you're looking at the more expensive stuff and (likely) pro installation.
Sorry, wish I had more to offer. Just saw your post with no replies and wanted to offer what I could. Good luck finding what you need!
This might be a solution if you're just looking for bluetooth audio. It goes from usb (probably have to get the old thunderbolt to usb a) and plug it into the usb in the center console. Connect your phone via bluetooth to it.
So i got this phone mount for my car that bolts in behind your radio. It comes with instructions, really simple like 8 steps max and 4 screws. i highly recommend this to anyone who drives the same car as me.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004BVKW2K/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Then i got this magnetic mount and only used the magnet (excluding the ball and lower base) so just the part that says "Ailun" and double sided tape it to the phone mount. It holds my phone in spot, angled towards me. The phone doesnt ever fall, wiggle or move. I love it, my dad saw it and had me install it in his g37 and my friends is bringing his g35 over for me to install in his.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B075GHG47M/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1
One thing to note though is that this only works for the G35/G37 07-13 or the Q40.
I use this
https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B01HDO66NK/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1
and it's plugged into the power port in the center console (don't know what your vehicle has, sorry). The 3.5mm connects to this
https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00B2HP1FY/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1
(these are common and fairly 'generic', so any 3.5mm-to-RCA-audio will work). ALL audio control must be done via the phone though but the phone is outputting via Bluetooth and can be located wherever you want.
I tried using the built-in iPod connector to a 30-pin-to-Lightning adapter and I didn't like having the cord connected to the phone. I have an iOttie mount that holds my phone and it's located at the far-left side of the windshield so a cord connection would be ugly.
Surprising, yeah. I might have to order the parts and have the shops install them. I did a google search for the part (infiniti rk622549) and came up with most between $400-$500 as well. Do you have the link to the swaybar kit as well? Found even cheaper on amazon
https://www.amazon.com/Moog-K750209-Stabilizer-Bar-Link/dp/B003YMDN5A
Heat shields I'll have removed and see if I can spray the pieces like mentioned.
I was able to swap out all the lights using THIS
The reading lights up front are not replaceable. Already LED. I didn't bother with vanity mirror's up front cause' who cares.
This will work on the two front doors but I couldn't get the plastic cover off so I gave up.
This works in the trunk as well. Very bright and clean.
I had the USA SPEC PA15-INFI for my 06 g35x. I tried to find it again on amazon, but could only find the new version here that does what you are asking for. The sound quality was great on my stock bose system. Idk how the Bluetooth streaming will be for this unit though.
Yes. its an OEM replica. But black.
You can also purchase the midnight black grille, its an actual infiniti grille with black fins in the front. Its pricey however because its an OEM product and infiniti is not cheap.
https://www.amazon.com/Infiniti-Genuine-Factory-Original-MIDNIGHT/dp/B008B7LAXU
Thats the legitimate way to get a black grille. Plastidip if you want. But we drive midluxury cars, not old beater honda civics.
Want a cleaner setup ? Get this Bluetooth receiver that connects to the AUX inputs (with an add'l 3.5mm-to-RCA cable).
Sorry for not replying sooner. Here's the LEDs that I bought. I purposely chose the color - I wanted something "cool", i.e. blueish-white.
You can get bulbs in different colors. I saw yellow, red, and so on !
So like the installation is definitely a bit spotty since this is meant more so for the Z's. The area where the mounts are supposed to bolt into don't reach far into into the underside on a G compared to a Z, which makes finding a good spot difficult, but not impossible.
Basically I bolted properly onto one spot on the edge, and used 2 sets of these bendable brackets hold the backside of the diffuser from the exhaust as a hanger, and used zipties to keep the front hanging up.
If this sounds wierd it's because it is, so if you'd like I'll send some pictures later of what I exactly did to keep it up. It took me a couple of hours to install only cause I didn't really know exactly where I was going to mount this, but it shouldnt take more than an hour or so knowing what you're doing.
No modding per se of the car or the part itself, but I do have a muffler delete which helps for the hangers for reaching around stuff. I don't think it's necessary though.
thanks, it wasn't the fog lights I was having trouble finding, it was the clearance lights. but now that you mention I need H8, my manual says H1 and I ordered these off amazon, but they look different than the one in that video, so are they the wrong ones? https://www.amazon.com/OPT7-CREE-XLamp-Light-Bulbs/dp/B00SZK1VXC/ref=sr_1_4?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1523384701&vehicle=2009-68-6616-144--7-6-6-8968--1-1-2931--3-0&sr=1-4&ymm=2009%3Ainfiniti%3Ag37&keywords=h8+led+fog+light+...
You can get a Grom BT kit and replace your SAT input.

Embarrassed that I own a luxury car and this is all I can come up with. PLEASE let me know if you can find a better option
JETech Wireless FM Transmitter Radio Car Kit for Smart Phones bundle with 3.5mm Audio Plug and Car Charger https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00URUJWPW/ref=cm_sw_r_em_apa_WPO.zbHX0T17S
Are you handy with a soldering iron? (Video explanation) Or would you rather a pre-made adapter?
Personally I prefer the adapter. It uses the Satelite input button if I recall correctly.
>> which has very little visible in the windows so it doesn't ruin the look of the car
we are on the same track. 3 of the cars in my family are currently running blackvue 650 dualview. The image resolution and bitrate are not the best, nor their price. But I found it has high quality and slim body design. And I don't need a display on it as there is no need for it in my opinion.
For my current car, I have two VIOFO A119S one in front and one in back. First, their resolution and bitrate is very high, yet not the best. Second, they are only $100 a piece. Third, I didn't go single system dual setup is that all dual camera system sucks on the rear one. I found it equally important on the rear as the front. Forth, no longer need to run the power cable and video cable from the rear windshield all the way to the front. Last, it is designed so that to can still hide behind the rear view mirror even though it has a display.
If you choose one, don't forget to get the polarizing lens that designed for this camera.
amazon links (the price went up to $120 but still good)
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MFAK888/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MEI10I4/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
btw, the difference between 119 and 119s is that 119 has wider view, but 119s has better low light image quality. I think both of them has already good enough viewing angle, so I went for 119s for better night image.
That is the dash kit for the 03-04. You need the dash kit for the 05-07.
You then need the stereo adapter harness.
This is the stereo harness for the Bose equipped model.
https://www.amazon.com/Stereo-Harness-Infiniti-wiring-installation/dp/B008FT3K14
Here is the 2005 dash kit
If you want steering wheel controls then you need an adapter for that as well.
I have this one from Amazon and it works great. I'm no audiophile by any means, but I am quality conscious and I've never noticed any issues.
Edit: Just found this one which looks similar, is cheaper, and also has great reviews.
I got my 2011 G37xS Coupe for $15k +tax in Toronto (130k km tho). Did I get a good deal?
In terms of the audio issue I went through so many solutions. This is the product you want. A little pricy but it works perfectly. Just like the factory Bluetooth.
https://www.amazon.com/USA-BT45-INFI-Bluetooth-2003-2012-Infiniti/dp/B00XUPP4TY
Yes. The layers are aluminum, primer (you'll see it when you're sanding), paint, then clear coat. Duplicolor sells kits and has a variety of colors at your car parts store. I got this Dupli-Color Paint Hsk100 Hyper Slvr Whl Kit https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00G762SB0/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_1XCgzbJD84QN8 for my lighter wheels and ended up not using the clear coat.
The color can be hard to match so if you "do it right" you strip and paint the entire wheel. My damage wasn't that bad so I just spot treated by taping, sanding, smoothing, and painting a few areas without taking wheels or tires off.
Not perfect but it doesn't stand out when looking at the wheels. I didn't bother with Bondo.
First thing I did was switch out the interior lights to LED. Small and cheap change but noticeable and matches the lights on the outside. https://www.amazon.com/LEDpartsNow-Infiniti-2014-2015-Premium-Interior/dp/B00LP67B46
Not so bad. Depending on how perfect you want it, you might just paint it without sanding. Problem is you CAN'T test the colors they have in stores without buying. You can get an idea from the cap color, but they do have that dark Al / gunmetal color.
If you sand, I like these: https://www.amazon.com/Dremel-511E-Coarse-Finishing-Abrasive/dp/B000FBF3OM/ref=sr_1_10?ie=UTF8&qid=1494880198&sr=8-10&keywords=dremel+sanding
Use blue painters tape to tape off any area you don't want to sand and also to keep the tire clean. I apply the paint with a fine brush, not spray.
I found this on Amazon.ca and the price is pretty good compared to Stillen. Also, no cutting is required :)
I did 6 coats, about 15 minutes of drying between coats. Brand wise, i just brought the first one that came up on amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Performix-11203-Multi-Purpose-Coating-Aerosol/dp/B0006SU3QW/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1480126309&sr=8-1&keywords=plasti+dip
Before I got rid of my G35, I had two of these:
The first one wore out after about 6-7 years of use. I tried a cheaper Dynex version and it broke within a few days. Went back to the Sony and it lasted the two years until I sold it (and is probably still going).
