Hey everyone!! Hope you all enjoying the game!
Wanted to give a heads up that the game has NO explicit content (no sex, genitalia or nudity).
We marked it as nsfw, due to the representation of our characters being inspired by fictional pornographic works and the discussions/references to it in the dialogs.
The current version of the game was created in one month (with a few more patches since) for Strawberry Jam 3 and got #1 place on Itch.io. Now we want to see and share the game with a few more communities to know what they think. Let us know if you have any thoughts about it!
Web browser mini-sandbox RPG made in RMMV for Game Jam #129.
We're a married couple making short games, and we'd love to work on this one more, so feedback's appreciated!

If you'd like to customize both your pages beyond what the theme editor allows, you can simply get in touch with us and ask for custom CSS to be enabled for your account. In your message please include the list of changes you intend to make.
If we see many people making the same custom CSS customizations then we may make the option available in our theme editor.
[I wrote this assuming you're a beginner or something idk]
I wouldn't really recommend using scratch for making games lol
Using a proper game engine makes it a lot easier and faster to make games, like unity, godot, or something really simple and easy to use like Gdevelop. We made our first games in school with Gdevelop and it was really fucking simple and easy to learn, as I already knew the scratch language wery fucking well. It's a 2D game engine and I really recommend trying it out if you want something more powerful that scratch and isn't confusing.
The editor can even run in your browser, just like scratch. And you don't need to know any programming language to use it, just like scratch. Very fucking beginner friendly.
I see. No, don't write the story anywhere, that will be like spoiler, just write the overview of the story without giving away any spoilers. If you want an example you can see my game listing on Google play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=niara.rotkdemo.origin
Please note that I am not telling you to play my game. :P Just wanted to show you an example of how you can tell a little bit about your story to get the people excited. Looking forward to see what you write and of course, looking forward to your game. ^_^
Hi soccer fans!
My boiler tried hard to prevent this but failed: Update #1 is out and it's a biggie! It includes the coveted 3-4p mode, which really makes the game shine. I also added a couple of new levels and a new ball: Boomerang, which has some strange physics if you kick it hard enough. I hope you have fun testing out the new features and please send me some feedback as I make my body ready for Update #2.
P.S. I also wasn't supposed to do this, but I added a linux build too. Unfortunately I have very few means of testing it and I know linux fragmentation is a real thing, so sorry in advance for poor support. I know the button bindings might be off at least. But now you can check if it works for you :) I will fix all the bugs I reasonably can so just send me a message if you encounter something strange with your configuration.
Please check the official changelist if you want more details.
Sincerely, Antti
Hey everyone
here's our cute puzzle platformer just released on itch.io! You control both characters simultaneously and try to gather the heart pieces and end up together at the completion of each level. It's also $1 off for the first week so don't hesitate for too long!
I am the designer of Who's Better Than Us?!, one of the games in the bundle, and the facilitator of the Test Kitchen Jam that inspired these games. Huge thanks to all the designers who submitted games to the jam and to all the players who check them out.
I'm going to be really honest. The store page doesn't sell me on the game.
The red text on black background is difficult on the eyes. Look at dark mode on other websites. The background is never pure black.
I watched the trailer. I would pick a font other than Arial because it's the default everywhere. There is a PowerDirector watermark which looks really unprofessional. You could use OBS to record gameplay for your future releases. There is too much motion blur in my opinion.
The description doesn't tell me much about the game. The first thing I see is version notes. The first think I expect to see is a description of the game.
I'm also confused what the difference is between the 2 listings on itch.io. You say the game has a story mode, which the free one doesn't have. But both versions appear to be paid games to me. I don't know if that's a mistake or on purpose.
I hope I'm not being too harsh. I don't know if the game is good or not but I'm not compelled to buy it based on the marketing material.
We just wrapped up a game jam based on Octo. Check it out:
The Octojam will be back again next October. Until then, I return to my grindstone to keep improving the tool. My current focus is improving the experience of playing games on mobile devices and giving people more options for HTML exports.
If there's something you'd like to see in Octo, let me know- I'd be happy to take it under consideration!
Hi guys, Minesweeper Reborn is a game I made a few years ago and recently updated.I'm curious to know what you think about the "Reborn" gamemode.
The game has two gamemodes:
- Classic: guess free version of the classic game (you can solve every game using only logic)- Reborn: similar to classic, but in one cell there could be up to 3 mines! This increases the difficulty level and the fun of the game.
It also has a minimal UI and is highly customizable, both in graphics and in controls.
You can try it for free on Itch.io or download it for mobile on the Play Store. (IOS version coming soon)
As one of the people who made the game, I'm really stoked to have it out on itch.io. The game was deeply inspired by classic RPGs like Earthbound, Super Mario RPG, but mixed with our real world experience of being programmers in an office.
Also, we've got a Halloween theme going on right now with some bonus skins inside the game, plus a seasonal sale. Hope you dig it!

itch.io has a dark mode theme-button in the menu since yesterday(*). Perhaps this is the reason some other things have changed as well?
I've been working on this for many years already, and a lot of people have created games (on my own website).
I thought the itch.io community might be a good fit for making, sharing and playing RPG's. That's why I released it here. So I hope you like it!
Any questions or remarks, let me know :).
As far as I know nothing has changed. Itch.io isn't Humble Bundle. Of course, if the seller decides to set a minimum price of $0 then you have complete freedom to choose your own price in the way you're thinking. But that's up to the seller, and the economy really wouldn't work otherwise.
So I made this tiny retro virtual handheld game for LCD jam. The code itself is just 140 lines but everything other took me 2 days to finish. I didn't even make the graphics myself. I used icons made by Olly Holovchenko (Creative Commons) that are called Tasty Icons and they are really tasty. Most of the time took the packaging, creating screenshots, videos, music, itch.io page etc etc. I made my own 6s long soundtrack :) and after finishing the game I extended it to a full song (which still sucks, but I'm learning :) The game is written in lua (Love2d).
Thanks! I know you have already played the game, but if you want you can download the mobile version. It runs smother there and i will be updating the game everytime i finish a level. Anyway, i will also upload levels here on itch.
