Rough way would be:
1. Find out in which way you can start the ExpressVPN via commands and let it switch the location this way.
If that's not possible or too complicated, check if you can use ExpressVPN servers with OpenVPN and use this OpenVPN Reconnect solution.
So you basically want to download these links to another location somewhere on the internet then FTP them from that remote location to your local PC.
And you want to be able to queue up and control the downloads to that remote location using My Jdownloader?
seems to have a headless install of Jdownloader for their Seedboxes, you setup the My Jdownloader App on your phone and add the Seedboxes Jdownloader instance.
Then when the downloads are complete you would connect to the seedbox over FTP and download from there.
If you have questions about that you should probably contact their support....I have a Seedbox but my provider doesn't have this feature, so I know nothing else about it.
No, problem, just keep an out on RD's hoster status as RG has been a little intermittently problematic recently. They always bring it back online on a daily basis.
Yes that is correct, it will work, just add the RD credentials under "Settings" and "Account Manager" in JD2 and when you add any RG links in JD2, it will automatically generate them via RD and download them at full speed. You can also view all the JD2 generated links in RD at https://real-debrid.com/downloads.
Sorry - too much work/time. Especially with youtube they will often block you if you try to download big channels: https://board.jdownloader.org/showthread.php?t=86395 Here are my recommendations: - Add URLs slowly or manually to JD - Get a new IP whenever Google decides to block you - And/or use tools specifically designed to download youtube videos such as e.g. youtube-dl: https://youtube-dl.org/
It may be a gatekeeper problem. What happens if you right click on the file and select open instead of double clicking. A window should pop up and ask you to acknowledge it's ok to open the file. Then a window will open showing an installer app that you double click on. If the app won't open, go through the right click>open process on it as well.
Btw, did you download the file from here (https://jdownloader.org/download/index) or somewhere else?
Where are you guys from?
Works fine here (Germany).
So you get a 404 for /download/blabla ?
Does this direct-URL (Windows installer) work fine for you?
https://jdownloader.org/dl?v=101
All of their other versions are hosted on MEGA but I won't post the URLs here because if you can't reach their website, you will not be able to verify that these URLs are legit and not some kind of fraud uploaded by me.
I can download it via browser just fine, but as soon as I copy the link it shows as "iWEd5w1g", file size unknown in the Linkgrabber; and trying to download it just gives an endless "Disconnect? (pixeldrain.com)" message. It's a clean install of JD2, and since browser access is fine it's got to be a problem with the program.
Can you download the same file fine via browser?
I've uploaded a testfile and it is downloadable just fine via browser and JD:
