I think this question was asked many times. The Sprint 5G network has already been shutdown awhile ago. Yes, the V50 will work fine on 4G LTE for many, many years until 4G LTE gets shut down but I don't think 4G LTE will get shut down anytime soon. As long as the Sprint V50 phone is unlocked, then it will work great on any network that has 4G LTE.
The Sprint LG V50 will work exactly the same as a 4G LTE smartphone. I think people have a big misunderstanding with what's going on with Sprint and T-Mobile. T-Mobile is shutting down the Sprint 5G network, so all Sprint 5G phones will no longer be able to get 5G because the technology that was used is different... However, people totally forget that it is also a 4G LTE phone too, the LG V50 has nearly all the SAME 4G LTE network frequency bands as T-Mobile and AT&T.
Here you can see the 4G LTE frequency bands for the LG V50, it is only missing 3 frequency bands but the rest it has which should be good enough for 4G LTE coverage:
https://www.kimovil.com/en/frequency-checker/US/lg-v50-thinq
And if you want to compare, here is the T-Mobile LG V40:
https://www.kimovil.com/en/frequency-checker/US/lg-v40-thinq
I have T-Mobile as my network carrier and the Sprint V50 works fine on it.. it's only 4G LTE and that's totally fine with me.
One last thing, you need to keep in mind that your carrier features will not work (just like how they won't work on a factory unlocked variant either). Things like WiFi calling, caller ID, visual voicemail, etc. You need to buy a carrier branded phone in order to get those features, the software from the carrier is on those phones.
Any chance you could try GPSTest (other sources) and see if it shows any Galileo or Beidou satellites in Kenya? (Please try it in a location with a clear sky view, not with tall buildings/trees or indoor.)
Any chance you could try GPSTest (other sources) and see if it shows any Galileo or Beidou satellites in Italy? (Please try it in a location with a clear sky view, not with tall buildings/trees or indoor.)
Try wide mode app, I have it setup as notification shade toggle, works pretty well.. You don't need Whale browser Chrome natively supports dual screen etc

Just want to know if you use all those apps simultaneously or each on their own?
I only use SoundID by SonarWorks and it makes my audio sounds really good (based on my own sound profile). Android 12 (Sept security patch) is really stable and bug free in my case. It is really smooth and fast, same response as my wife's Galaxy S22.
I'm personally using SoundID, which can fine-tune the audio based on your preference. Try it Google Play Store.
A good deal. I love mine so much. I installed Niagara Launcher because it works better for my workflow. If you want a notch hider this is the best one I found. I also use this good oled theme because LG's dark mode is just gray. Using Gcam in this phone is also perfect.
Try using this app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.xsquarestudio.forcelte
And then check to see if VoLTE Provisioned is enabled. You need it enabled to make calls/texts correctly, especially with US carriers. Also, check the "set preferred network type" and try to set it to "LTE/UMTS Auto (PRL)". If that doesn't work, try using other network types. If none of it works, then it's likely the Korean V50 is just not compatible (probably because VoLTE is not enabled).
Try this app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.xsquarestudio.forcelte
There should be a VoLTE provision switch, see if you can turn it on.
And then download this app called "shortcut master lite" and type in "voice" in the search, then look for settings and look for com.android.settings.Settings$VoiceNetworksActivity and then launch it, it should take you to the VoLTE settings in the Android settings.
Not a guarantee but worth a shot on you V50 variant, didn't work with my Sprint V50 however
Too thick. I have this one, which is decent. My only real complaint is that it's a tiny bit thicker than I'd like, and the tpu they used is white, so when the top black coating rubs off... You get ugly white plastic underneath. They should have made it black so at least it's hard to notice.
I use the google camera too but sometimes it is annoying to use it because it does not have all the functions that the phone camera application does, and the interface is very ugly

Does GPSTest show any Galileo or BeiDou satellites? (It's only showing GPS/Navstar and GLONASS and QZSS for those I've seen. Please try in an open area with good sky view.)
Within Developer options (if enabled), is there a setting for Wi-Fi scan throttling? (I don't see it in 10.)

When I first saw these last year, I thought they only sold them within Europe, but now it looks like you can find them on Amazon US and Amazon Canada. They probably send them straight out of Germany, so shipping may take at least a couple of weeks.
It's the dual-screen case that came with the mobile. It is available on amazon.sg not sure of Lazada or Shoppee.
Any chance you could please try GPSTest (other sources) and see what it displays? Does it show any Galileo or Beidou satellites? (Please try it in a location with a clear sky view, not with tall buildings/trees or indoor.)
I'd like to update to fix my Bluetooth issues, but lack of navigation would be a showstopper.

It worked on my Sprint v50 as of a couple weeks ago (I'm on a free month of US Mobile). I'm guessing the IMEI lookup failed due to a lack of VoLTE support You can get a 7 day trial of Mint Mobile for $0.99 on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Mint-Mobile-Starter-Verify-Compatibility/dp/B0786RD524/ref=mp_s_a_1_4?dchild=1&keywords=mint+mobile+sim+card&qid=1622673340&sprefix=mint+mobile&sr=8-4
Somewhat offtopic, by any chance, is your device able to see Galileo satellites? (are you in a location in Europe other than Cyprus?)
If you're using wireless so that the Quad DAC can't help you, then install a 3rd party equalizer app that allows you to turn down the master volume independently of the phone's general media volume. E.g RE Equalizer, which is by far the best one I've ever found out about.

Welp. This is what I use to remove those persistent notifications.
Use the notification blocking feature and block the notification with the corresponding text.
Wavelet app lets you make custom EQ for the speakers, and load custom EQ profiles for different headphones. It will switch back and forth when you plug the phones in.

Question for you: are you able to see Galileo satellites in Europe when using GPSTest? Or only GPS and GLONASS (with maybe a sprinkling of QZSS)?
i'm not believed. cause 1st. show on this function with overried crack sound. as not fixed but not good
just make NORMAL with used 3rd party app. used free version and then you know that Equalizer FX Pro!
Offline Music Player used Poweramp(Hi-Resolution convert by codec engine)
i did addtional function gesture try to did it foodview, FNG, also i changed theme with addtional function with volume app!(link) used.
I haven't done much with my V50 yet since it's not my daily driver, but I do have the Poetic Guardian case and also plan on removing the built-in plastic screen protector and replacing with tempered glass (something which I used to do for Otterbox Defenders on older phones like the LG V20 and Samsung Galaxy S5). Built-in ones always leave a tiny gap in between, resulting in Newton's rings / the "rainbow effect"
I haven't tried to put on a tempered glass protector yet, but I think one would fit with the case if the sides don't reach too far towards the curved edges. This V40 tempered glass screen protector seems to be the closest match I can find as the V40 and V50 have the same screen area size.
In addition to the security patch changing from 2020-06-01 to 2020-08-01, here's how the Kernel value changed:
"KernelFull": "Linux localhost 4.14.117-perf #1 SMP PREEMPT Mon Jun 22 20:49:36 KST 2020 aarch64", "KernelFull": "Linux localhost 4.14.117-perf #1 SMP PREEMPT Fri Jul 24 17:35:11 KST 2020 aarch64",
I'm still not seeing Galileo or BeiDou (only been in the US while having this phone), anyone see them?
I came across this one. Hopefully it'll help you! LG V50-G8 Debloating Guide 1. Install USB 4.4.2 drivers tool.lime.gdms.lge.com/dn/downloader.dev?fileKey=UW00120120425 2. Enable Developer Options and USB Debugging and connect the phone to PC by original USB-C 3.1 cable 3. Download FX File Explorer app from Play Store https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=nextapp.fx&hl=ro 4. Open FX File Explorer go to Apps, then All Apps. Under each app you will see it's name. Beware it's case sensitive! Example: com.facebook.system 5. Download ADB Binaries https://anonfiles.com/H0ad53F6ne/adb_binaries_zip 6. Extract ADB Binaries zip and open a Power Shell or CMD prompt from the inside folder (SHIFT + right mouse) 7. Type cmd and hit ENTER 8. Type adb devices and hit ENTER. In your phone will appear an message to allow access. Allow it and select remember this computer. 9. Type adb shell and hit ENTER 10. With this command you will uninstall every app (until next factory reset) pm uninstall -k --user 0 nameofapp (example: pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.facebook.system) Important: I recommend do not install lg apps because you'll loose functionality like call recording. Just uninstall ALL Carrier apps from KT, SKT, U+ and any Google, Facebook app you want like sheets, docs etc. There are some LG apps that can be uninstalled, more than 15 like white theme, lg keyboard etc You can play uninstalling LG apps if you don't care about Call Recording function. If functionality is lost, you must factory reset the phone and start debloating all over again.
It's not that useful other than the force widescreen app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.refy.android.g8x.widemode
I find myself not using my phone as much as I'm worried about dropping it so I've just stuck the screen in my drawer for now until something massively improves... Luckily I've got 5G to look forward to next month so I crack out Geforce Now and my Flydigi controller :D
