Yes, he was on MTV a few years ago, and Nursehella was with him. She really shouldn't have been. If you haven't seen Nerdcore for Life, watch it. It's available on Hulu for free (with ads). They talk about the roots of Nerdcore, including the Nursehella controversy.
The gist of it is:
High-C got an article about Nerdcore in Wired magazine, getting a bunch of Nerdcore artists to do write ups. The article, from what I can tell, was half a page and sucked. In it, they mentioned that Nerdcore was mostly guys "with a few girls". At the time there was one female Nerdcore rapper: MC Router (according to her, anyway, and she has a point, even though I don't really like her music). Anyway, that was part of the beginning of a beef between MC Router, who'd worked her butt off recording and doing shows, and Nursehella, who at the time had like 1 song, but was getting all this (undeserved, apparently) recognition. Then fast forward to the MTV interview, and the MTV hosts called Nursehella the only female Nerdcore rapper, which of course is wrong on so many levels. (They ask her about her start, and you can actually see a deer-in-headlights look as she struggles for an answer; yet another sign she didn't deserve to be there). All this is in the movie.
