For those curious, the book does indeed exist. It's Precalculus: A Prelude to Calculus by Axler. Here it is on Amazon, and you can even look inside it there.
It's almost as if kids are multifaceted people who come in all skill levels and not these insentient slabs of meat r/thatHappened seem to think they are
Also, Krita is a great free alternative if you don't want to pay for an art program

It's an ad for a shitty "prank" product that is normally white but turns red when it gets wet, so the person freaks out and thinks that it's blood
Holy fuck that link is egregious
I'm not really a teacher nor really a kid person
But I was part of a program that had me teaching 5th grade students cool science stuff while I was in college.
Seeing their faces when we would shoot off rockets or teach them a little bit of programming (Scratch) was fantastic
Even better in the programming side of things to come back again after a few weeks to find a few that it had hooked so hard that they couldn't wait to show me the storyboard projects that they'd been working on
I'm not a kid person ^^^^^^^I'm ^^^^^^^a ^^^^^^^normal ^^^^^^^person
....but maybe they've grown on me just a bit
Holy shit. Those Power Rangers figures are from the S.H. Figuarts line and go for about 200 dollars each. This nephew is a HARDCORE collector: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00I2KAVB8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_Y3TTEA83EXZ75E75A0KJ

Aaaaand, no. You’ve been living under a rock, and you’re assuming everyone else has as well.
Ruth Bader Ginsburg has become a pop culture sensation for liberals. She’s been extremely and vocally beloved by the center-to-left, especially women, since at least 2015. Once Trump got into office and the Women’s Marches became a thing, the hero worship of RBG got even louder.
In summation: you’re totally wrong here, and it’s not far-fetched at all that a girl this age would admire RBG.
I don’t know why everybody here is assuming he actually had to know what the stock market is or how it functions to make this comment. It is much more likely that he just hears people talk about Amazon stocks Every day on the news and is thinking of something totally different. I remember asking my parents about the stock market when I was nine after reading about it in one of those choose your own adventure books (this one if you’re curious) I frankly thought it had something to do with socks just because the words are similar, but still occasionally mentioned it as if I had the vaguest idea what I was talking about.
If this could be of anyone's interest, there's this little minimalistic app called Bring! that will help you in a fast way to memorize your shopping list, by just pressing squares. The experience gets better with time since the app memorizes your priorities, and you can even sync it with anyone you wish.
You can even sync it across your devices, once you set your list, all your devices will update.
I found it after tons of weed and hours of experimenting shopping list apps, but most of them are just boring/hard to use/full of ads, etc.
bruh i self published a book at the age of 10: here it is on amazon
it’s garbage but i totally remember doing stuff like this
They even have these little minis that are pretty cool and could keep a significant amount of cheese warm. Side note, now I want to buy one for on the go nachos
