Hey, kinda... I haven't had a chance to play along and see if it's good but there is that website that transposes you tube clips into chords, someone had already done it for this song link! From my past experiences with that site, it does a great job of getting most of the notes but you will still need to adjust them and listen for missed changes. Not too hard though. If you (or I) can be bothered to write it down, please feel free to share it.
Interesting post!
Personally I've never understood the first line on Danny Callahan: "Sweet world, lovely chloroform".
I don't get what chloroform has to do with a "Sweet world". Maybe Conor meant chlorophyll, which would make sense since that makes plants green and the world "sweet" I guess.
Genius.com has an interesting interpretation:
"The world is so lovely it has a sedating effect upon us, like Chloroform"
It makes sense I guess but I have always thought Conor really meant chlorophyll.
It seems like it definitely could be. I searched it when I was translating in case it was a specific phrase that I didn't know. I found this page that had it translated each way in different instances.
I searched for all of these on SoulSeek just now and found each one. I'd prefer not to upload them myself but if you have trouble finding them on SoulSeek let me know.
SoulSeek is like old school Napster, if you haven't heard of it.
