as a fat guy with huge thighs i cant recommend this stuff enough Body Glide
this is the version for males and they also make a female version.
Hopefully the no day-pass policy will minimize that! And sure, come to the meetup and we can all hang out afterwards! If there is decent reception might be a good idea to use an app like Map Marker to post locations of cool camps and chill spots :)
I just bought a 12 x 6 x 12 backpack on amazon with 1 day shipping for 12.99. Should be able to fit my water bottle, jacket, sunscreen, and all the stuff I'd normally bring https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B074ZJ7PBB/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
For the iPhone, have they tried using the Find my iPhone feature? I think it's enabled by default these days, but all they should have to do is log into their associated iCloud account to get GPS on the phone.
The app is getting terrible reviews in the Play Store. Most say they can't even sign up. Others say it automatically enables bluetooth and wifi, and it's a battery drain.
It seems look a good idea that's poorly implemented. Maybe the next update will get better reviews.
Yes I recommend the halo jump starter/ portable batteries too! They last a good while!
I gotchu fam. It'd be a damn shame to miss out on all that booty shaking
P.s.s. Highly advise getting a very warm sleeping bag and warm hat to sleep. Nights can get very cold! also highly advise on getting ear plugs that you LEAVE at your bedside in your tent. I recommend the 3M plastic ones that have a little stretchy plastic to connect them

If you have any power tools or something similar with high capacity batteries, you can probably get an adapter for your needs. For example for our DeWalt batteries I bought this USB adapter off Amazon which works perfectly for many festival needs.
I have a car tent, it sets up over the back of your car. Super easy to set up and comes with a canopy.

Telescoping flagpoles, like this one.
I remember reading that metal poles weren't allowed in the grove, but I feel like this is discreet enough that you could sneak it through security, or small enough that they won't care.
If you want to be real stylish you’ll get harem pants

I got [these](www.amazon.com/dp/B07RP5C7QK/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_api_glt_i_BVQMN6G0BZN5S6Y319P9?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1). they have a little foam block inside the bottom that acts as a pump for air, so you basically pump them up with your foot. They’re surprisingly comfortable!
are you camping with a car?
if so you can buy a power inverter that plugs into your cars cigarette lighter port and blow up your mattress that way
I have used these in 4 okee and 1 bonnarooo. They are great to put it around your ez tent and campsite. Remote controlled to make it easier to turn it off while you at in bed. Also you can adjust the colors.
These are good for in your tent. Sucks crawling in at night, not being able to see anything or just having a bright headlamp or flashlight. Look for other string lights, battery or solar. Battery is usually better, but plan on changing out the batteries 2-3 times throughout the weekend
I got these they run on 3AAA batteries each and are small enough that you can attach them to your bag when you leave camp and easily hang them back up when you get back. They get really bright too so it’s a solid deal
The best way to keep a canopy down is with something like this - https://www.amazon.com/MASTERCANOPY-Weights-Portable-Folding-Canopy/dp/B01FD43RUC/.
Fill em with gardening rocks or sand and then velcro them around each leg of your popup. If the wind is projected to be really high then lower the canopy when not in use. Have done a ton of events and these weight bags have always kept our canopy from flying away.

Something like this works to charge phones, blow up air beds, etc
if you enjoy the vicks inhalers i highly recommend checking out Hong Thai inhaler
one of my rave family from Thailand introduced me to these. its like vicks cranked up to the max.
According to weatherunderground tree and grass pollen counts are high. It doesn't specify what trees, but from what I remember of the venue itself, palm and pine were dominant species. At a nature preserve not far there were quite a number of live oaks, but I'm not sure how broad/specific oak allergies are.
I will definitely suggest the vacuum storage bags. I was able to pack a tent, clothes, and bed sheets in one suitcase. If you've never used them, it is amazing how much room you will save. Just a heads up though - coming back will be a bitch (unless you find someone with a vacuum to help reseal the bags).
The shuttles from the airport will stop by walmart so you can buy extra supplies. I would suggest getting some extra beer or liquor to offer as a trade for some of the things you couldn't bring. (i.e. offer your neighbor some beer in return for sitting under their pop up canopy)

I loved using the Coleman gas stove at hulaween. it doesn't take up much room, and is easy to use

Amazon has a lot of good ones. I bought 4 back in 2018 and I still use them to these days.

I've had this guy for like 3 years. The cheaper ones I had are basically disposable.
Interesting, the 8x8 you found is straight leg which I’ve never seen. I personally would still do the 10x10 because that size is super common and I camp with a lot of other people so putting them together is important to me, but if you’re just camping alone then it shouldn’t matter. I found this one for $80: Smartxchoices Pop Up Canopy Tent - 10 x 10 FT Blue Foldable and Height Adjustable Outdoor Tent Sun Protection Canopy Beach Shelter with Wheeled Carry Bag Steel Frame Waterproof Oxford Fabric… (Blue) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B085C1QDGH/
Can't really fixed the spot that bled but use RIT Dye Fixative to try and lock the color on the rest of the shirt. This is a cheapo dye job and they don't use a fixative after it's tie-dyed. The RIT Fixative is a couple bucks on amazon or at a craft store.
I just got these in the mail from amazon today, they’re fucking legit and since they are 40 ft they will wrap around your whole 10x10 canopy, so many modes and colors, they even brighten and dim as well. They take 3 double A batteriesliitty
Did they look like these? They're not really blue at first glance but they are a dark blue gradient. I let my friend borrow them and she said that she lost them when walking to the grove:( she was pretty drunk so it very well could have been her lol https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0096M7R4A/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_ceyOAb4RC9V2S
Just don't bring glass and you will be fine. From a risk management perspective it makes sense. Okee doesn't want to encourage anyone to overdo it by saying each person should bring/drink this much during the event.
LPT: small reusable flasks like these are great to have on hand. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00VAPZ62Q/
These survived TW15- good buy and I know there are more colors. (http://www.amazon.com/Christmas-Outdoor-Gardens-Wedding-Waterproof/dp/B016MDHO66/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1456417095&sr=8-4&keywords=solar+christmas+lights+72ft+22m)
Besides a headlamp and some sort of lantern, something similar to these bad boys has been the best. The battery lasts forever and the timer means they automatically turn on more or less as it gets dark if you time it right. Great to find your camp at night.
