There are two sizes and some are still available on Amazon Regular Size Smoots & Jumbo Size Smoots (though I'd advise checking other places too like Mercari and Ebay before jumping on buying him from Amazon - I'm not a funko plush collector, so idk if those are their normal asking prices for that particular plush or not)

There is a Bearington tabby cat stuffed animal on Amazon, that is one of the best tabby stuffed animals I’ve been able to find ever. It has stripes all the way down, and It’s about 15 inches long in length, so a decent size for a stuffed animal. The specific name is Bearington Tabby Louie

If you want one that is a lot more accurate, there are websites such as “Cuddle clones” that make custom plush clones of your pets. Although I’ve never used this personally, and you’d be looking at a higher price tag.

Your usual detergent, cold water and delicate in the washer and let air dry in a well ventilated area, sun is helpful but not necessary, just make sure you have good air flow

For the nose/muzzle, the original fabric looks like a soft minky material. To get the best colour-match, I’d take it to a local fabric shop and see if you can’t find a shade that is similar.
To brush the “fur” out again, you can very gently use a metal pet brush, like this:
When repairing the doll, you may want to first:
- Empty the cotton and turn the head outside-in.
- Check for damaged stitches and repair.
- Check the safety eyes and ensure they don’t need replacing/gluing.
Then, when head repairs are to your satisfaction and you’ve sewn arms/body:
- Using fresh stuffing can ensure your friend lasts a little longer and doesn’t contain debris - like dust mites or something gross.
- Be sure to attach the head with upholstery thread. Other threads may break or prove weak.

We have had the most luck getting plushies fluffy again by using one of these brushes. Lots of tiny, flexible wire tines. Brushing back against the way the fuzz lays (against the grain) and then again with the grain works best for us. Sometimes it takes a lot of brushing and we go back and forth against and with the grain repeatedly. Make sure you are getting all the way into the fluff and take your time. It can help to work in small sections as well.

When it comes to plushie displays I will always recommend the plastic/wire cubes you build. They're cheaper than bookshelves, easier to move, and customizable.
EX: if you have a really tall plush just combine two of the cubes so you don't have to squish the plush in or leave it out.
I know they're not for everyone cause they're not ✨pretty✨ but they are sooo practical
Typically the older stuff is. There's been a Leosco plush that literally took me 10 years to find. The National Geographic / Lelly ones are decently easy to still come by nowadays and it's the same factory.

I have the larger sized, and can definitely say it's really really good. The round shape is perfect for wrapping an arm around while sleeping.
If you get this, just know that it will be delivered vacuum sealed, and it takes a few days for full fluffness. It will basically have some "wrinkles", but the ones on mine completely disappeared after a week. You can also leave it in sunlight near a window to speed up that process.

The weighted plush I have is a purple dinosaur from the Warmies brand, you can heat them in a microwave and they smell like lavender! I agree with everyone who mentioned Squishmallows! :) I have a pastel rainbow llamacorn one in a sort of Tsum Tsum-shape (best way I know how to describe it xD) who's great for snuggling! Her name is Lucinda. :)
Other plushies that I think are great for cuddling are the retro classic Pound Puppies plushies that were released in 2019 - they're about 17 inches long and they're really soft and floppy. I have the white and brown-spotted one, and I remember that when my Pound Puppy arrived and I removed him from his doghouse box to hug him to my chest, I instantly felt relaxed and comforted. The pups are available in several different varieties - even a poodle! :)
