<strong>Roughened Rails</strong>
This is a flag for Newton, KS. Black and gold was chosen as the colors because they are the colors of Newton High School, which is the closest we have to town colors. Our town was founded because of the Santa Fe railway, which explains the railroad switch. The railroad switch is taken from https://icons8.com/icon/7356/train-track.
Not jailbreak related, he says he found on pinterst and the other guy found the website. So you need to manually set icons with snowboard or filza.
It seems you're new to design, and I think you need to do some research on logo design best practices and minimalism. It looks like you're using this for an app, and when things get used on small screens they need to be simple and legible when scaled down. This goes for all logo work. As it stands all the details in the illustration and all the linework in the text is going to be lost and unreadable.
Check out Cartoon Network for example. Big chunky letters, and lots of space. Pair this with a simplified icon for something bold and fun!
<strong>Rudston, East Riding of Yorkshire Flag.</strong>
The blue and green are taken from the flag of the East Riding of Yorkshire, giving reference to the location of Rudston.
The white cross is present to give reference to the village's name as 'Rud' has it's origins from the word 'Rood' which is a type of cross, hence it's inclusion.
The grey charge in the center represents Rudston Monolith (the tallest standing stone in the UK at a height of 7.6 metres (25 feet)), as it is a major landmark of the village.
The Monolith icon is a free icon that has been altered for my design and can be found here https://icons8.com/icon/4710/obelisk
Here's some for social icons: http://zocial.smcllns.com/sample.html
If you click through this (massive) set of (free) icons, many glyphs have colorful variants: https://icons8.com/icon/new-icons/all and you can assemble the set you need and apply custom coloration and effects to them. The defaults are good in some cases (like watermelon) or you can change colors in others. There are mono- and poly-chromatic variants for most things from what I can tell.
Just a little background…the dratini badge was a redraw from an existing icon created by icons8. Link here: https://icons8.com/icon/45480/dratini for credit.
I really liked the style, but the dragon was more air than tini so I redrew the snout, ears, added a few more personal touches and changed the colours to make it more dratiniesque.
As for the other badges the bulbasaur and mareep are my own illustrations. I kept the same 2D vector style to keep the aesthetics consistent with the series.
Sorry for the rant. Happy Community Day and enjoy!
UX Designer here. Yeah, web designers these days. They seem to ruin the real User Experience a lot by making more complicated, 'look-good' designs that actually are more confusing.
Four of the icons (Settings, App Store, Google Maps, and Phone) were from this icon pack: https://www.samuelbeckman.com/shop/pastel-icon-pack
For all the others I just searched on https://icons8.com and downloaded the ones I liked.
icons8.com has a good selection you can also add your plugin icon by right clicking the app then clicking show package contents, resources and the icon file should be right there in .icns format
> did you just make that?
yes
> can you keep the cursor as the standard arrow?
sure, it's been updated to a cursor from icons8
> even at 0ms, I can still feel a bit of 'soupiness'. Can you make it more efficient?
Not as efficient as actually directly moving it around.
if you were making this into a site, I'd recommend when trying to do 0ms latency to either:
- remove cursor:none
and hide the artificial cursor, as this gives you the truest '0ms' feeling
- directly set the position from the mousemove callback (although this can also feel 'soupy') (just added this check to my pen)
at low milliseconds (<100) it'll probably feel soupy compared to the real deal, as setInterval
doesn't do great with small intervals.
I spent a while just using google search with terms like: "Spotify black logo transparent". And most of them I got from this site: https://icons8.com/windows-icons/ and for the converting I used this site: https://www.icoconverter.com/
I taught myself by trial/error. Here is a screen cap of my preferences. You can add additional actions to things if it takes more than one step. To open Netflix for instance, I have a custom keyboard shortcut of ⌘+Space to bring up Alfred, then a copy paste of text for www.netflix.com, then another custom keyboard shortcut of Return. Then I named the action 'Netflix' and found the icon here.
The predefined Action settings are pretty robust and you can do quite a lot from there. I suggest playing around with what suits you. You can have global settings or app specific ones too, and you can change the button size/color and other options under the advanced configuration.
I sometimes use an "AI Image Upscaler" and the results can be pretty good! I thinkthis is the one I've used before.
E: Here it is, upscaled 4x.
There are some AI projects that can upscale images, but the results are often hit or miss.
Try this one. https://icons8.com/upscaler
However, make sure you use the original image. The one you posted seems like it was scaled up by 4-6x.
thanks! UI took a lot of my time as it was not intuitive at all for me in the beginning. What I did here is to start from a Bootstrap template, you find plenty on Google, and then improving it with illustrations. For icons and illustrations, I used icons8 which is super useful as you can color them according to your website.
Not really, it's like alcohol. It's cool when you do it with moderation the problem is everybody does it anywhere anytime. Personally I favor Icons8, especially when you can get the client to buy a year subscription as "a vital component of the project" 😁 😁

I had an email exchange with freepik a few months back, at the time they told me that their work cannot be used as the 'main element' of a design, I wasn't able to use them as I intended to use a lot of icons from them. Though, reading their terms now, they might have changed this. Icons8.com is another good source.
+Yeah I get your frustration with the icon status I think until SC has full API support for that sort of thing we're stuck with toggling them ourselves I had gotten used to it though from my experience setting it up and testing today...
I used https://icons8.com - They're pretty good and you can change the colour, and choose a size and custom padding for the icon (I don't like when the icons are too big and fill the whole block) I also decided to get rid of all the text, it can look good but I didn't want it too look too busy more like you'd expect in the dash of a car or something...
Most of them show the flat Earth map as something like the United Nations logo. Like this https://icons8.com/icon/58058/united-nations
The fact that the UN has this logo also encourages them greatly in their beliefs they "They" who control the world know the Earth is flat. Just to add also, these idiots wind me up more than pretty much any other type of conspiracy theorist. It's not like "There was a second shooter in the JFK assassination", it's a fundamental denial of proven reality and they drive me fucking nuts with it.
I would suggest take a time to read Mozilla MDN Learn Section, it gives a solid view of the basic structure of a website https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Learn Also see W3schools it has some good easy to search parameters elements functions https://www.w3schools.com/ W3.css is a stylesheet they provide with good start ready to use classes to use too If you need free icons a good cloud can be https://icons8.com/ For a server language I would recommend PHP, because JS is more like client-side
This is gold! We will definitely deal with that.
I'm surprised they're not pixel perfect. I've dragged some of the icons from Icons8 App and have a look, they're great. Can you record a screencast or something to help us reproduce it?
Could you give us an example? An original icon and the resulting one.
As to the filled version, I think I know how to fix it. Great you told us. Btw, here's all the hell each icon goes through.
Sorry for the mess; we definitely should test our icons better. And thank you for bringing it up.
No problem! Actually, they say that if you use their icons, you need to link back to them. You can just put that in the settings panel as a thing which says that you got the icons from their website and link to their website.
Here’s some more info:
:)
I don't think there is an option or an registry hack YET to have live previews on folders, but i could tell you a kinda small solution for the time being, so if you have a work folder or a school folder or whatever and you want to easily recognize them, go to some ICON DOWNLOADING websites and download an (for example lets say "Work") Work icon (like an picture of a office or something) and then go to file explorer and change the work folder icon to that nicer looking easily identifiable work icon. i know its not an replacement and it takes some time and hassle to do it, but like just for the time being it would be useful. (Also make sure to transfer the downloaded icons to the .ICO format before changing the default icon cause windows icons use the .ICO format, you can use GIMP (which is free) or Photoshop to do that)

I used this one, and upscaled it 8x. It's the first time I have upscaled anything, and I'm still looking around for what other tools are out there.

On mobile I use a link on my phone home screen that takes me straight to the tasks DB itself, instead of this dashboard, with a couple DB views I only use on mobile (One for Today, and one for Inbox.) When mobile I'm generally just checking the days task or inputting a task, never doing much planning, so this method works well for me.
Icons are from Icons8.com , they are the iOS Glyph style.
We largely have Apple to thank for the recent trend in flat-as-hell icons and logos. But yes, this is something predicted in some prophetic documentaries

Not entirely true. While Brave does actually have a randomized fingerprint, Firefox can be no worse. I use both Brave and Firefox and can share an experience.
You see, Firefox is very customizable. Features and modules can be custom-tailored via configs and addons. This is exactly what I did. I created a privacy-focused Firefox profile with Firefox Profilemaker by disabling certain annoyances and fingerprint-inducing features. Then I went ahead and installed and customized CanvasBlocker and uBlock Origin, which'll help in blocking trackers and altering how your browser shows itself up on websites (which is also what Brave does).
Took me some time, but I got Firefox to the same state as Brave. Cover Your Tracks does not provide 100% correct results. For me it sometimes said "partial protection" and sometimes "unique fingerprint". Idk what unique were there since not even a single browser setting was my own for a website. That leads to an assumption that Cover Your Tracks can't 100% provide the right answer.
I went ahead and tested the protection myself on a website I know collects fingerprints, in order to maintain a "free trial", and, sure enough, each new session appeared for the site as new one and I was able to continue my free trial for unlimited time.
So that really just comes to time. Firefox can be customized, but that requires time. Brave, on the other hand, comes with great protection out of the box, and yeah, that's what I like about it.
Tho in defense of Firefox, once you customize your profile and addons, you can save a copy of settings for the process to be quicker afterwards.

Hello!
This is my 2021 setup, my 2020 was very minimal because I only used notion to keep tracks of the things I do.
The template is from This Girl
The images is from This Incredible Artist
and the icons is from This Page
and I don't remember where I took the Woody Allen image/quote
hope you like it!
I have not seen this around specifically, but I do like icons8 https://icons8.com/ which has a pretty good selection of devices and some basic applications. Maybe not what you are looking for specifically, but perhaps could be useful.
not sure if you are asking how it works or just simply how to do it but I'm bored so will just answer both lol..
it's software: quick google search comes up with this as a functional free one. Really quality ones will not be free though as each one has its own algorithm that upscales the photo. not knowledgeable on what's out there but I'm guessing a more expensive one will have a much more complicated algorithm that does a better job upscaling - which essentially is the software just making an assumption on what should be in a new pixel of the new photo. by the algorithm adding all these pixels, you end up with a higher resolution photo. when you take that photo and compare it to the old one, at the same size, the new one will look more "crisp" thanks to its new higher resolution
I don't know if vinithkumar is the one who made the hundreds of icons in this style and posted them on icons8.com a long time ago, and only very recently decided to share them on deviantart, or if they are someone who took a few of the icons from the above mentioned website and posted them as their own, but for anyone else who'd like more icons in that style, you can find them on icons8 as Gradient Line Icons.
Or maybe icons8 are the ones in the wrong? All I know is that I first found the icons on there many, many months ago.
I found links in your comment that were not hyperlinked:

If imperfect would satisfy you, this site upscaled it somewhat neatly: https://icons8.com/upscaler
I can't link to it but you could do the same.
If not this one, then there should be lying around an AI upscaler demo that's well trained for manga panels.
Use an AI image upscaler to enhance the image resolution, like this one: https://icons8.com/upscaler
Start with a higher res image of that shot, like this one.
I'm working on a new animation tool for Arduino. You choose an animation, customize it, and then get Arduino code that you can copy into your project. It will be free and available online, so you don't need to download or install anything.
I'm looking for people who want to get early access to the new tool, and give feedback. You need to have an Arduino supported board (ESP8266 and ESP32 are also good), and an SSD1306 OLED Display. ✨
You can register here to get early access:
https://pages.wokwi.com/animation-tool
Also, if you want to see other display types supported, please let me know the specific model that you have so I can dig into it.
Thanks icons8.com for the graphics, and Volos Rakic for the idea!
No problem, dude. I download most of my icons from icons8 in PNG format, preferably 64px or smaller. Then I move the PNG files to the resources folder in the dock files, and edit the list file for the dock to include the paths to the icon image files in the resources folder to their respective app paths and info. Should be simple from there! Hope I helped, and apologies if my explanation is a bit wonky and complicated.
How well do you know JavaScript? With very limited knowledge, you can really create something awesome. Here is an article I wrote a while back.

Here is a library of some you can download: https://icons8.com/c/animated-icons
Thanks for these! I just got one of these stream decks recently and it's awesome. I'm actually trying to justify a second one...
I mostly got icons from https://icons8.com/ but these are better for most of the functions, so i'll be integrating them into my SC profile.
I also thought about using some of your hotkeys, but found that none of them are titled. While most of the icons are self explanatory, some of them are hard to identify without context, and since my keyboard layout has been modified extensively, I can't use the key assigned to them to figure it out.
I'll still be using a ton of these icons, so i really appreciate it, but you might wanna title the hotkeys (you can then unclick "show title" in the font dropdown) to make them more accessible to more users.
Thanks so much!
The intended use is for streamers. It has a LOT of built-in API's for streaming programs and services. But it can also be used to launch programs and for hotkeys, which is how I'm using it here.
It is very easy to customize, I watched one short video about using it for gaming/hotkeys and that was enough for me to know what I need for how I wanted to use it.
It'd does have a icon creator, but I wasn't caring for the type of icons it had. Luckily u/loversama pointed me to this website https://icons8.com/ which I've found extremely helpful in getting the kinds of icons I want. It's what I used for ALL the icons you see on mine, that site is perfect for this thing!
I found the icon on https://icons8.com/ then downloaded it then used https://www.icoconverter.com/ to convert it to an icon, then made a folder called Icon where i would put the icons and I changed the folder icon to the background so it'll match and I made a shortcut for the program and changed the icon
This is a lot better than I expected. savvier for heavy scifi or spaceinvader for your Hotline Miami ripoff.
I tried one download and it was a WAV. I guess so you can encode to mp3, m4a, ogg, or whatever?
The search isn't great (you can't combine tags, filter by bpm, doesn't focus search box when you click search), but they have a decent set of categories, bpm values, and multiple tags for every track.
Seems great for (at the least) placeholder music for your, but beware the effects of temp.
Found this on Product Hunt. They offer around 1000 free music tracks to use for free and sorted into categories. However, they ask you to put a link to their website in the credit section of your game (license page).
iOS doesn't support SVGs directly. You'll want to export the SVG as multiple PNG images or possibly a PDF.
For PNGs, you have a few choices:
Put 3 nearly identically named images in your app - MyImage.png, , . If MyImage.png is 100x100, then the other ones should be 200x200 and 300x300 respectively. (I think the 1x sized images are only needed for older devices and system versions)
Create an image asset in Xcode and drop all three images (1x, 2x, and 3x) on it. Instructions here.
Put only a single 2x or 3x sized image into the app and let the system scale it for you. This is the quick/dirty solution, but the images won't look quite as nice as with #1 and #2. It'll still look much better than a low-res 1x image, though.
If you go with a PDF, Xcode can automatically create the sizes you need. See instructions here.
Using Sketch will save you an absurd amount of time(unless you happen to be proficient in Illustrator already).
Try this or you can always go the apple store and use one of their demo machines to do your graphic design XD
I used gimp to isolate the center part of the wallpaper, then removed the skull from it so I kept the square border, then I grabbed some icons from here and replaced the default icons in Documents\Rainmeter\Skins\Honeycomb\@Resources\Images with the ones that I created.
Basically, I just replaced the defaults with some ones that I Frankensteined together from the wallpaper and a website.
for the the taskbar I just changed the icons (from https://icons8.com/) and covert them to .ico and used classic shell to make the taskbar transparent. also I'm new here and I don't know how to save rainmeter skins (they're just modified skins) If you could help me I'd be happy to upload them.
I've used icons8 in the past, nucleo looks similar though.
I mostly just like the way icons8 breaks down the same icon into android/windows/ios style:
Nice work!
Grays are more on the right track, but the header is still very WP7. And that's all because of the poppy-bright tiles and all lowercase and large titles. Take a look at the notification center. Or the Settings. Text hierarchy is key. Emphasize the accent color.
You can get by with Segoe UI Symbol for the icons, or try these icons. https://icons8.com/2015/06/24/unofficial-style-guide-to-windows10icons/
We had a meeting today.
We've found some icons that where broken in Sketch 3.3, but are fine in Sketch 3.4. Good job, Sketch!
We center the stroke usually, so we decided to do it more often :)
Sometimes, rarely, for really complicated icons: we have stokes like 1.8 and the shapes instead of lines. They should look great, and it's hard to do it otherwise, but let us know and we'll give it a try.
Decided to make a feature allowing the community to report the icons that look broken somewhere. Although we work in Illustrator and Sketch, we have little experience with Corel, for example. Interesting.
The groupings — we know how to remove them. Easy.
Thanks for buying, for using, and for suggesting the improvements! You're our hero.
This is more proof of concept and something to wow the friends than an actual theme. I should add that all the apps open their android equivalents, too.
^^Also ^^its ^^a ^^oneplus ^^one ^^pls ^^no ^^hate

There are some good AI upscalers out there. Here's one that I think I've used before.
Here's your map run through it. A lot of the names didn't work well, but hopefully it's an improvement anyway.
Nice. If I may make a suggestion... Next up you could add custom toolbar buttons, instead of default white ones which stand out a bit with a darker theme.
Head on over to Icons8 and grab some media control icons (scroll down for more styles), use the recolor option on the site to match your color scheme, and download each one as PNG which should have a transparent background. Since Columns UI supports PNG images you can import them directly (right-click toolbar > Button Options), or if you have a favorite image editor you can further tweak them.
Welcome to the endless modifying of foobar! 😄
If you cant find the original file you can go online and download an icon and assign that.

A map is one of the official Flip-Mats, the Docks. The images in the pdfs are (from the ones I have myself at least) 4505x3605 pixels vs the 1326x1065 pixels from the Quest pdf. You could also try an image upsampler such as https://icons8.com/upscaler , though the results often have a bit of an odd look to them.
Thank you, but I just used icons from https://icons8.com I take no credit for that apart from trying to choose the right icons. But thank you anyway. As for Teams vs Skype: Teams reminds me of school, exams and that kind of awfulness. :D Whereas Skype kind of reminds me of my childhood, online gaming etc.
During my bike trip last Friday I thought what should I make this weekend? A router table for my Makita cordless router would be a great addition to my tiny workshop. So that's what happened 😎🪚🏁.
I started this project a bit unprepared, I only had a idea in my head. Just the way I like it I guess. I had a nice piece of 9 mm plywood with a scratch resistant top layer, which I used for the table top and the fence. The rest is made of 12mm birch plywood, glue and a lot of fantasy 😇.
The table is not permently attached to the back plate, so you can use it anywhere you want. To fixate the position of the fence I used two Festool clamps and a rafter square for allignment. The first tests worked out beautifuly. I'm sure I will use it a lot in my future projects.
Thanks for watching, have a great evening and I will see you next time 👊🍻

I used Icons8 Image Upscaler and Super Resolution API by DeepAI to actually upscale the image.
Before and after the upscale I did some sharpening, denoising and merging in GIMP (GNU Image Manipulation Program) - a free and open-source Photoshop alternative.
LottieFiles is indeed great for things like this, there's also other sites like https://icons8.com/animated-icons which offer simple animated icons in unified styles (LottieFiles is more people rightfully showing off in a lot of cases, there's some really nice stuff on it)

I use this website to get my notion icons as they usually have packs that have similar themes! you do have to sign up for an account though, hope that's okay!
Goodluck!
Strappy Sunday 🙏🏻
Aren’t I clever? Haha I thought so when I came up with that 😅
In all seriousness this is the first time I’ve used my strap in a practice in quite sometime and it sure did the body good. It aided in my heart, chest and shoulder openers a lot and was a good reminder at just how beneficial props can be to your practice.
Throughout my ytt I have learned about so many different modifications you can do through using blocks, a blanket, a chair, bolster or pillow and it feels refreshing learning about the basic foundations to each asana.
I myself have been applying more modifications in my poses than ever before as I have become more aware of my bodies limits. I no longer push my body to places it is not ready for just because I want to mirror the teacher instead I embrace and honor where I am.
This is a huge reason I love yoga so much. It truly is for everyone. Any asana can be performed in s wrap different ways to best suit YOU. 🙏🏻
What are your favorite poses to do using the strap? . .

People with psoriasis may be more likely to have celiac disease as well as psoriasis. The body of a person with celiac disease is not able to tolerate gluten, a protein found in wheat, barley, and rye. If the person consumes foods that contain gluten, they are at risk of developing gastrointestinal symptoms, fatigue, anemia, and many other symptoms. In a study that involved 218 people with psoriasis and 264 people without psoriasis, 4.1 percent of those with psoriasis had celiac disease, compared with only 1 percent among those without psoriasis. The findings were published in 2015. I have an easy answer - Icons8. The icons are so easy to use with Notion. I just copy the image URL and paste into the icon "link" field in Notion. I'm a big fan of minimal black and white, but the icons can be customized with color and other effects.
I made dis. (Not my original art, ~~I'll find the artist's page and link them here in a bit~~)
If you have wallpaper engine and want to download this, there's a link here.
If you want to know how I made this, I enhanced the original image using an AI here, then cut out the hair to a PNG using photoshop (Holy god, this took me a solid hour to do right, even with the auto-cut-out function). In adobe premiere, I layered the hair over the original image and used the Color HSL tool to make it so the Hue shifts 360 degrees around the spectrum over the course of the video (It's a perfect loop!).
Edit: I've found the artist's Twitter and WOW do they have some good stuff

not sure if this is OP's, but i found this site that looks like em. search "phone app" or whatever and you can also change the colors around! have to make the background white so it's not transparent when you download it fyi
All the icons are from this site. They are transparent so you can use the color on the shortcuts app to pick the grey color. I didn’t create the icons myself. Work less think smarter 😎

Not OP but if you go to the desktop version of https://icons8.com/icons you can find app icons and recolour them as you wish! I've spent an embarrassing amount of time this week checking out what folks have done with ios shortcuts and messing around with my own homescreen lol

Yeah, you have to pick the gradient icon to start with.
This is all the gradients: https://icons8.com/icons/nolan
BUT - not all the gradient icons are in those little discrete tiles, but if you're already in that page (the gradient page) and use the search up the top, it'll give you all the gradients that are just for that search term.
I have a 'personal' log, which tracks certain marital aspects of my life and I wanted to find a suitable icon, couldn't find anything, so while I was in the gradient page (the one I've linked above), I searched for the 's' word (I can't write it in case it gets flagged under the Notion Rules no 3. But lets just say it starts with 's' and ends with 'x') and there were loads that came up that weren't in any of the little collections!
I don't quite know what you mean, but I've just searched for circle (just in gradient) and this is what I got https://icons8.com/icon/set/circle/nolan
I've found that within the 'Collections' there are a LOT of icons, but there are more if you actually search for them, presumably because they don't fit into a discrete category?
