This is not about Kustom but in general around TTF icon packs, the glyphs you want are some specific chars in the font so you have 2 options:

• Use a tool like icomoon, upload your font and then map the icons you want to some readable char (like "a", "b"), please note that the font will be visible only in the preview area of kustom not in the editor

Here is a little bit about the theme...

This theme was made with a mate 20 pro device and you may need to make some tweaks, I will include 3 screen sizes (19.5/9, 18.5/9 s8+, 18/9, more to come) but may have graphical off sets on some devices.

You navigate the device like a real console, buttons and all!

There is special effects when playing music such as a sliding game cartridge with album art and song title that slides down when paused or song skipped etc. Coins and shrooms fall down on all screens when music is playing.

I made a battery graph, it's showing hours and days, but that can be changed by altering the formula a bit. You can break the komponent down.

Kustom points are basically pixels. If you have a 720p screen 1kp=1px, 1440p: 1kp=2px.

I believe the problem you have is connected to the bg shape you're using below the number, you'll have a much easier time having the square built of 4 right triangles.

I found a temporary stand in called Wearable Widgets. It can put your KWGT widgets onto your smartwatch. I've used it to make pseudo - watches. And since Frank added the ability for KWGT to update each second, you can have a functional second hand. I'm not sure what impact it has on battery though. So proceed with caution.

You can find those values by going to the play store. There are probably other ways, but it's what I do.

Theoretically yeah, I mean, that's how android games work, they know if you started your swipe on top of an interactive object. I'm just not sure how you'd do that with tasker/KLWP . Maybe with a plugin like this?

After many long hours after work, I finally finished something I'm really proud of: drone outpost for KLWP. Made with dozens of layers in drawn in gimp and pasted in KLWP, I wanted to improve on my previous theme by coming up with crazy animations while keeping it all on one screen.

I'd like to thank Kustom and the community for all the great tutorials and inspiration, and how you helped me get from this https://gfycat.com/CriminalImpracticalJay to what I can make today in a period of 3 months. It has legitimately became on of my favorite hobbies and even gave me motivation to learn how to draw.

For the "5 secs" delay you need to email Action Launcher dev and ask him to implement what's described in this post, Nova and Lightning Launcher already support that feature.

Empty desktops are also supported only by Nova and LL, if you want to stick with Action other than emailing the author asking also this you can either use an empty KWGT (just download the free version and add a transparent KWGT as a place holder, this will not use any battery), or use "empty widget" (search it on the store) which does the same.

I think it depends on the music player you want to use. It has to provide a hook to do it. Had a quick look and found this thread.

You don't need to add them, as that's already built-in Kustom. Just tap on choose font, then tap the G icon in top right corner and select a font.

Wallpaper Engine is the closest thing to KLWP for Windows PCs. Otherwise you can look into Rainmeter, which is the equivalent of KWGT. There may be other programs, but these two are the most popular.

Japanese doesn't really work that way. Like, "a" is ア, so that works, but in a name like ポケモン (Pokemon) the first character ポ is actually two characters in English "po". Also, since there are two phonetic syllabaries called "katakana" and "hiragana," the sound "a" can also be あ. And then you have kanji, which are Chinese characters used in Japanese, and that confuses things even more.

If you like Japanese enough to want to put it on your phone's wallpaper, why not learn some? I recommend the app LingoDeer and the textbook series called Genki.

Regular expressions are really useful, but hard to master. If your interested in learning it, try this website. I recommend looking at the cheatsheet, and also substitution and Groups & Lookaround under the reference section.

here's a quick explanation of what my code is doing:

"(.)" creates a capture group with the parentheses. The '.' within represents almost any character (does not represent newlines and tabs). "$1 " says to keep the (1st) capture group (in this case there's only one), and add a space behind it. Those two fields work together to convert "Foobar one" to "F o o b a r o n e "

I've used it do do pretty much exactly this before. It's a little work cause it's not just a pre-existing folder (and it can be a little convoluted to get it to do exactly what you want sometimes), but you can define exactly how you want it to look since you can make it display a kwgt

In klwp's editor go to 'Items' /'Favorites Center'/'whatsapp'. Tap the 'image' item and change it. In this theme I used Nexa icon pack, but you can use whatever icon pack (or image) you like. Then go to the 'touch' tab and link it to your Instagram app.

Below the image item there's an overlap group with 2 circles. That's the notification badge. So if you need a notification badge for Instagram, you need to recode that as well. To do so: tap the overlap group and go to the layer tab and change 'visible' to something like $if(ni(pcount, com.instagram.android)>0,always,remove)$ (I don't use Instagram so I could not test if the package name is correct) If you don't need a notification badge, just delete the overlap group.

The speed dial images, type and type images can easily be changed in the globals (at the bottom).

You need to set a proper touch action though by going to 'items'/'favorites center +1' and then the speed dial of your choice....

I'd imagine the only way to do something like that would be to use a third-party app to serve as an intermediary between the two disparate Kindle & KWGT apps…

One such app that I'd suggest you check out in order to accomplish this would be Tasker…

As I've never actually used that particular app before (PyDroid), I don't know for certain whether it's possible to use it directly with KLWP, but there's probably a good chance that you could get it to work if you incorporate the use of Tasker and the wg (Web Get) function inside KLWP…

But, even then, that's only just a guess… cuz Tasker isn't exactly the easiest app to use, so it might also require you to do some additional research if you're unfamiliar with it…

Gradjent Dev here. The outline icons inside the circle are from my icon pack Reev Pro. I can't think of a gradient icon pack like this but Gladient is the closest i could find.

You can customise the circle gradients in Gradjent btw. Scroll down to app icon globals and you'll find them. You can use any other outline icon pack with it.
