I use a similar solution myself! Though I cast it to a tv on the wall and the players tell me where they want to move their characters instead.
I can recommend a module called Display Mode.
I make the PF2e Expansion Pack module for Foundry and have thought about where I set the bar on PF Infinite content. Obviously I only add things to the module that have the author's permission but I can't keep up with a firehose. So I would like to have some way to have the community nominate the best content. So I'd be absolutely in on getting something going where we can highlight and promote great content on the platform.
I have finished up making my own versions of the Belly of the Black Whale maps for AoE Book 5.
You can download all of these, plus the maps I have made for books 1-4 from Google Drive here.
The module for Foundry VTT can he found here! It includes pre-made walls/doors for all maps.
Probably due to LetsEncrpyt root cert expiring recently. If I'm at home and my browser is able to update off the internet, everything still works. Where I work we have a more locked down proxy and the browser updates have to be manually vetted by security, so I'm getting errors due to this on all kinds of common websites.
It wouldn't, because the XP doesn't scale linearly. PL is 40 xp, PL+1 is 60 xp, total 100 xp. Your conversion would be 0+1=1, for 60 xp. PL-1 is 30 xp, which is "-1", but "-1+-1" does not equal "1", which is what you're supposed to get if you put two creatures PL-1 for.
If you're having serious difficulty with the math, try using a tool such as Goblin Fight Club or Monster Lair on Android. Just input your party's numbers and level, and then add monsters until you reach the budget you're looking for.
Character sheet builder with tons of help and tools embedded
https://pathbuilder2e.com/ usable in browser by desktop Or https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.redrazors.pathbuilder2e for Android
You can share the character sheet between the browser and the app
This is one of the developers of the PF2e module, not FoundryVTT itself. If you want to make requests for VTT features, you can use their contact form (https://foundryvtt.com/contact-us/) or tune in to the FoundryVTT v9 stream that they mentioned.
I can’t find the post now, but they confirmed it when the playtest was first starting. However, have you met Pathbuilder? It’s been keeping up pretty well with the playtest and 2e content, and I believe the dev is active here. Doesn’t have the DM tools but my players have found it indispensable for their characters.
Install the https://foundryvtt.com/packages/pf2e-persistent-damage module if you haven't already. It handles most everything related to persistent damage. It will eventually be absorbed by the system, but for now it's the best way to handle persistent damage. If you already have it installed the problem might instead be that the creatures you are using are not up to current standards. Try reimporting the creature and see if it has been fixed in the most recent version.
Your specific question has already been answered by others, but I'll just add that if you run published adventures, then the PDF to Foundry module is a godsend - it automatically imports official watermarked PDFs of Pathfinder adventures into Foundry, complete with all maps (with walls drawn in), artwork, and adventure text!
Also, check out Recall Knowledge's channel for videos on running PF2e on Foundry.
If it helps, if you're using a premade adventure, making your own in a program like Dungeondraft or one the maps in a Foundry module, all will already have walls and doors set for dynamic lighting for you, including light sources (assuming you add walls/lights if you're making your own).
Adding this kind of stuff is actually what I spend the least amount of time on when I'm planning a session.
> My group use it for a map, tokens, chat log, die rolling, images for handouts.
Chat improvements you might be interested in is the Polyglot module, it lets you "speak" in a language the token knows (Will display in English if the player knows the language, or in runes if they don't). I love it, great for roleplay.
Images for handouts I love in Foundry, Theres just a button to bring it up on every players screen. You can combine this with text notes and Polyglot to bring up a note written in another language that only some players can read.
Map and tokens are the same if you're only using them as basic (no advanced VTT features). Grid alignment is my biggest problem with Foundry as its default method is awful (Defining the grid offset in pixels). There is a plugin that lets you align it by highlighting a square on the grid which fixes this issue for me.
As for cost, are you the only DM? As per the licensing agreement:
> You may share the software and its license key with a friend or family member provided the other terms of the license are upheld.
So you could look at splitting the cost with a friend if they'd also use it.
They shouldn't have any issues, as the player interface is pretty simple.
As a GM it's a great idea to familiarize yourself first, since there's a larger learning curve and an unending list of cool tricks (like C to open character sheet). I suggest the Foundry Tips module, which gives you a tip like that each time you open the world.
Just a heads-up: the certificate on your main site makes it appear to be a security risk. You can get a free one from Let's Encrypt that will resolve this. If you need help with it just PM me. I don't mind donating my time to help you out.
If you have an android device, download Pathbuilder 2e:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.redrazors.pathbuilder2e&hl=en_US
This is very helpful in understanding how to build your character, letting you know what you've missed. Plus its just really fun to play around with.
Pathbuilder 2 for android has been great so far. There is also Second Edition Character Sheet.
If you're up to learning a different piece of software, then the volunteer-made Pathfinder 2e system for the Foundry Virtual Tabletop is what many consider to be the ideal way to play PF2e online. And unlike FGU, Foundry is a one-time payment, with no additional cost for any of the materials. All content is included with the PF2e system free of charge, under the Community Use Policy.
The FoundryVTT Discord has a dedicated PF2e channel for users to ask questions and answers are typically quite quick. Additionally, if you intend to run a published Adventure Path, there is a module for Foundry which can import the walls, maps, and other scene info from a legally obtained watermarked PDF purchased through paizo.com.
If you don't intend to run a publish Adventure Path, then the upfront payment for Foundry is the only cost associated with this.
Foundry VTT is the best for Pathfinder by far. The bestiary includes all the NPCs and monsters, which by itself makes it a thousand times better than Roll20. The PDFtoFoundry module saves you a lot of time.
Added bonus, there's also a module that includes remakes of the Abomination Vaults maps - https://foundryvtt.com/packages/av-maps-remake-by-narchy - I may be the author of that one.
No, no one can distribute the art unfortunately however there is Compendium Image Mapper that will let you map things quickly once you get the images yourself (either by scraping them from AoN with a script or by downloading the images you need manually.
Brawler is a Pathfinder 1e class for which you'd want Pathbuilder 1e. Pathbuilder 2e is for 2e classes and builds

RPG Workshop's Pathfinder Second Edition Character Builder

Pathbuilder 2e is an app that does some of this already and is being worked on. It is a continuation of Pathbuilder for pathfinder 1e.
You might want to take a look at both of those apps (Pathbuilder for 1e and for 2e) to get a sense of what they already have and see what you can change and improve to make something that will compete or fill a different niche. . . OR just functionally work better and be easier to use and understand for people who process character creation in a different way.
The Party Resources Module could work for this. I got it already for help with games that have Meta Currencies but your post made me think it could work for the Alchemist since there isn't anything built in for them.
I use this module for persistent damage, note that it doesnt automatically apply the damage, however it rolls the damage dice and recovery check automatically and removes the condition on a success (this is configurable however if you dont want that much automation). You then just press the "apply damage Button " as usually to reduce the hp.
Glad you like it! I passed the enhancement ideas on to our developer.
On the last item, you can format text in most of the boxes using Markdown.
As to missing spells, if you message me those you've noticed I missed, I can add them.
EDIT
Also, most of my players tend to use Trackables for spell slots. I'd be curious to hear your thoughts on that route.
There are two compendium mappers right now that allow you to quickly set up everything from a folder.
Compendium Image Mapper is for any compendium. You have to re-run it after updating though.
PF2E Toolbox. This one is PF2e specific and once set up it doesn't care if the compendium is refreshed. Plus it sets up everything with wildcards so you can use multiple tokens.
Hi, I havnt actually used it yet, but there is a module called Multilevel tokens taht i think does what you want.
https://foundryvtt.com/packages/multilevel-tokens/
This allows a token and its movement to be replicated on another part of the map, so someone can look over a balcony and see another token moving.
It has a module repository of sorts, but no paid access. https://foundryvtt.com/packages/modules Though some authors put a lite version on the mod list and a patreon or dmsguild (if 5e) link in the description for the full content. GMs can load their own maps quite easily, and foundry has good tools for adding in Los and lighting.
Another option is to get an Android emulator like Bluestacks for your computer, if you end up wanting the full version of Pathbuilder before it's available for web. That's what I do (another iOS person).
Unfortunately im not super familair with drizzt type builds so i cant really help you there.
As for the app, its just called Pathbuilder.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.redrazors.pathbuilder2e
Heres the google play link. Its quite excellent for making builds and clicking through the various tabs shows you what actions you can do, what your gear and spells allows you to do, what your class and dedicationss and feats allow you to do, etc. Its quite fantastic.
My suggestion is to use the Pathbuilder app or the Wanderer's Guide site to build the characters yourself fitting with the quirks you want them to have. Those apps will make sure you don't miss any steps and you can have a character built in a few minutes. But if you want it a very Golarion-esque group look at the characterization or Goblins and Kobolds (See the We Be Goblins 1e free module series, or the 2e Big Trouble In Little Absolom free module for some idea about how to present either of these ancestries).
This has always been a though one for casters (especially prepared spellcasters). Usually there is some dedicated smartphone app that lets you make spell lists. Other times there are sites dedicated to that. Sadly, so far I know none such sites that let you print your spellbook.
What I tend to do is save a document with all spells and have the spell names hyperlinked to the Archives of Nethys site spell.
If they use a computer Wanderer's Guide could help. If they use an android phone Pathbuilder could help.
You might try the commoner DnD mini from the 3.5 era. Here is one on Amazon. Might be too expensive but they were mass produced so maybe there are more out there.
https://www.amazon.com/Minis-Human-Commoner-Harbinger/dp/B005MUAV70
With my friends we always used d20pfsrd for 1e. Another great reference tool for 2e is pf2.easytool.es/tree
Last but not least, don't forget to use Pathbuilder Google Store link for your players. It's an incredible tool.
There is this app on android play store.
Note that it does not currently (as far as I can find) have support for the optional flaws rule or for some obscure pieces of gear/rules (again, as far as I can tell), which means no Large weapons for giant barbs, no custom magic item tracking, no homebrew equipment etc. Though it is still good for the vast majority of campaigns and things like adding custom equipment and armors should be coming eventually (it is also a good way to double check your character sheet math, also the adventurer's pack option is kind of broken in both the CRB and app, since all the individual items both weigh less than the 2B (1B from my calcs) specified and is rounded to the nearest silver, but there is an option to separate the adventurer's pack into separate items in the options part of the menu when in the character view). The spell list tracking on the app is excellent though, I'm using it for my storm druid atm.
For character making Pathbuilder is an amazing tool for your players.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.redrazors.pathbuilder2e&hl=
The PF1e edition even let you upload your pj to a web.
> As diagonal movement does not cost extra in 5e, 3D distances can be calculated by ignoring the shortest dimension (be it height, length, or width), and simply adding together the other two.
I agree that is easier to calculate, but think the important part not stated is that it is not accurate. This might be fine for short distances, but the error will grow larger the greater the distance.
Something I like from wargamers is using a ruler to judge distance faster than calculating it. If you are playing in person on maps something like this can speed the game up drastically.
That is indeed a good question. The power of such a spell is indeed very GM-dependent on whether they expose this information to the players.
I personally use the bloodied condition from 4e. I always tell them exactly when an enemy reaches below half their max hit points. I also keep track publicly on a board how much damage each creature has taken, so the players know the exact hp threshold when a monster turns bloodied.
For example, they know at 28 damage monster X isn’t yet bloodied, but at 36 hit points it becomes bloodied. That means the monster probably has between 60-70 hit points, and can judge on their own when it’s worth to start switching to nonlethal attacks.
It’s not perfect information, but it’s good enough for daze to have a useful niche at my table. Your mileage can indeed vary. If a player wishes to use daze, I’d advise a conversation be brought up with the GM on how enemy hp numbers can be communicated to players in a way that allows the choice of making nonlethal attacks be a meaningful decision.
This is the same makers as the one I have. I got mine a few years ago. But this has a few newer things that I don't have.
Cheapest option, get the players to help you. Someone catches something you forgot, give them a hero point. Now you have players ready to help you when you forget.
Cheap option, notecards. I keep so many on me, big ones, gridded ones, small ones. I can make notes that I just put down to remind everyone or I can keep them for myself and track HP/conditions/or anything on them.
Another accessory that I use from time to time are Rings of Power. These are good ways of indicating something is going on with a target, and if you get a system down they can remind you of what condition the target has.
And my flexible way of recording (though it works best on an erasable map) just note things on the map you drew. Inspire Courage is going on, just write it for all to see. Mook 1 is frightened 1, write it next to him and erase it when it is done. You can note dim light and various environmental conditions, so all are aware.
https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B01A885HVA/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o21_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
They're pretty versatile rubbery rings. Because they are flexible I don't worry about damaging models or their paint.
I started using https://www.notion.so/ with the Lazy DM template. It's amazing, and somehow makes prep more fun for me than usual. Realistically I don't need 80% of the stuff I wrote down, but it's just fun to keep filling stuff out and connecting it to each other.
These are a ton of great responses and full of wonderful information. I have been the forever GM of my pathfinder group for like 9 years. We moved to 2e this year.
The thing that really really helped and still helps me on the fly in the middle of a session is the advanced GM screen. It has info on all of the conditions, DC tables and adjustments, encounter adjustments and a ton more. I can’t recommend it highly enough
I had a game in another TTRPG with a group of software devs where we used Obsidian.md and the GM used git to add content from their local repository as we discovered it. Also allowed us to merge in our own notes. But that won't be worth it for most people to figure out. (I do still recommend Obsidian for private worldbuilding / character notes though!)
If you already use Foundry, there are a couple of tools for managing permissions there that can make it a bit less obnoxious to do everything in the library, and if you get used to the linking style that can help a lot, but it's not perfect by any means.
I use Monster Lair https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.enduni.monsterlair&hl=en_US&gl=US
Let's you budget and build your encounter, links to monster stats on the SRD.
I have it on Android. Not sure it's availability on other devices.
Yes the physical books are my jam. Also I'd like to read the rules non-digitally too. I think I need some time away from the PC.
Thanks for the KM info. I just checked the lost omens, they look very cool.
I'm taking the advanced guide, core rule book, gamemastery, bestiary 1 2 3, and 6 lost omens, ~500$ which can be managed. Do you know what the (P2) on some of the books means? Like this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1640783121/ref=ox\_sc\_act\_title\_3?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1
Paizo is incredibly good about working eith third party developers who make stuff to argument or improve their games. Thus, Archives if Nethys and Pathbuilder get content updates early in many cases, so the new content can go live the moment it is officially released.
I use Obsidian (no relation to Obsidian Portal as far as I know) but it's literally just a bare-bones knowledge base app that organizes markdown files. No features specifically related to TTRPGs.
If you know Scrivener well and use it to its extent though, it will almost certainly be a downgrade. However, I like how much it gets out of my way compared to OneNote etc, and the linking behavior and graph features are exactly what I want.
One of the best litRPG series I've ever read has to be Dungeon Crawler Carl. They aren't just good books for litRPG books, they are good for sci fi and fantasy in general. Also, they're hilarious.
They are lighter on the actual RPG mechanics than other litRPG's I've read, focusing much more on plot, humor, satire, and action, but they are definitely part of the litRPG genre.
Think Sword Art Online except the dungeon isn't virtual, is made by aliens, and take out 99% of the angsty teenage aspects and replace them with Futurama and Rick and Morty, and you basically have the Dungeon Crawler Carl series =).
Gave up and bought this https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B0001IWATK/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
1 Box fits 1 Pawn box and you can fit them nicely into an IKEA Pax. For the bestiary 1 Pawns I just made some inserts out of cardboard but Paizo for some reason abandoned boxes for bestiary 2 and 3.
Something I would love is a Pathfinder 2e character notebook, something like this. Even a digital format that I could put in an arc notebook would be great(been thinking about making my own but just never have the time).
I adore Monster Lair, you can build an encounter with level appropriate values in the app and pull the website up for the monster. It also has hazards and a random loot generator per level.
I highly recommend The Monsters Know What They’re Doing. It’s geared towards 5th edition but it’s still a great starting point as most of what it covers is behavioral.
Ive been using the generator from monster lair app - does a levels worth but I normally pick and choose what I want from that, looks like they're stopping updating from bestiary 3 but still has a lot in the treasure generator
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.enduni.monsterlair&hl=en_AU&gl=US
Curious, are none of mine showing up?
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.rekijan.initiativetrackersecondedition
or
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.rekijan.initiativetracker
/u/rekijan wrote a basic initiative tracker app that covers the bare bones.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.rekijan.initiativetracker
There's a 2E version that's in "Early Access" that you could possibly get, also, although I'm not entirely sure how that works.
I like the app Monster Lair on my phone, which lets me easily throw together encounters with a correct budget. It also includes traps and the option to apply weak or elite templates, all complete with XP calculations :)
what you said was true last month... But eventually someone would figure out how to bypass the core security just as was done in 5e. Here you go atk/dmg automation
https://foundryvtt.com/packages/xdy-pf2e-workbench
"Optional setting to automatically roll damage for Strikes on a hit..."
Same as in person: with difficulty.
There's no way for it to move like the rules let it without a token for each square. Maybe try something tileable to make it look good? Token Attacher might be able to help with the movement.
For the health, either
There's a few things that fall into sort of a Second Party category with PF devs working on third party or personal content. Battlezoo is a big one, Luis Loza's blog has some. There's a Foundry module, PF2e Expansion pack, that has a good amount of stuff. Them agreeing to let it be hosted on Foundry is a good indicator of faith in product and good will, so that's definitely where I'd suggest starting :D
I love the advice already posted in this thread. One technical thing you can do is install the Not Your Turn module which has options to limit when a player can actually move their token.
Heck yeah! Hope it is fun! If you use FoundryVTT I highly recommend using the book of homebrew module to have all of reaper ready to drag and drop on to your sheet! ;3
The Zerocheckpodcast is running Agents of Edgewatch and its really good imo. The audio quality is 75-80% of the gcp and they have good synergy. There's more people involved, but I highly recommend it.
I don't understand what you mean, there are toggle buttons is that what you mean by slider? Because they will apply to the next roll.
But if you want to permanently add a toggle button or add a permanent bonus that isn't an item bonus for atk/ac/saves then yeah you need to copy/paste a small bit of code.
Or use this module.
https://foundryvtt.com/packages/rule-element-generator
While r20 may let you do it, it kinda sucks for more indepth pf2e support so win some lose others. But yeah, just a choice the ruleset developers made somewhere down the line.
Purchase? None.
Get https://foundryvtt.com/packages/pdftofoundry/. One inttalled the button for it is in the settings menu.
Select an AP book that you own (and it must be owned, pirated/non-watermarked don't work) and it'll create everything from the book for you.
I was under the impression you could use this: A/V Chat Integration, with something like this:
Feel free to correct me if folks have tried that and know it doesn’t work, as I haven’t done it myself.
Another path, which is what I’ve done in Forge, but is clunkier:
The downside here, of course, is you don’t get the dynamic controls of Syrinscape, and the looping is going to be rough. IMO, getting a clean loop is more trouble than it’s worth – in the heat of the game, my experience is a simple quick fade-out/fade-in on the track is Good Eniugh (TM).
Hope that helps!
I don't have kids, but I have run for 6+ year olds at conventions and from my experience they can be a lot smarter than their parents give them credit for. Now don't get me wrong, you know her far better than anyone on here will. But at her age she is developing so fast and that is something to keep in mind.
There is a set of dice that are larger and flash when they roll on the max number(here is one of them). That can make it easier for you to read the dice when she rolls and tell her what she got and it will give her the excitement of roll a nat20. That combined with keeping a copy of her character can help you narrate what happens. Honestly at her age I would make it more story driven and as she gets used to what numbers on the dice do to the story you can introduce more concepts. And in no time she will be running games for you!
Little Trouble in Big Absalom is immediately what I think of when you mention children and Pathfinder.
Xiran Jay Zhao has some videos discussing Chinese legends and stories, and relating them to western media about China, on their YouTube channel: https://m.youtube.com/c/XiranJayZhao/videos
Tao Wong has a great series, Ten Thousand Li that is a more grounded example of cultivation fiction, with a lot of footnotes about Chinese culture and legend: https://www.amazon.com/Thousand-Li-First-Cultivation-Novel-ebook/dp/B07PKGSDDQ
Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon is probably the most famous wuxia movie here in the states.
There's a small but growing community of English language creators taking Chinese style stories and separating that from historical China, which is also pretty neat.
I mostly built modules for the characters that were in our campaign, and, of course, I'm not actively working on this any more. But feel free copy it to your drive and use/modify it however you want!
I designed this system to work with a particular smead classification file folder, so that's why the sheets have 2 white spaces at the top, so they can be placed into the folio.
Basically you have the primary character sheet as normal, but then beyond that you select modules that slot into a secondary sheet builder, so you can customize your other pages however you want. Here's a gallery of my character folio at the time we stopped using PF2.
In-person it can qork great as a map if you lay a TV flat. But if you play with good minis, it can be a downgrade. There was also a module to keep track of minis in the map but that's probably overkill to add condition tracking.
Dungeondraft, Dungeonfog, and Arkenforge. This is based solely on the fact that there's a module that makes importing maps easy.
I've played around with Dungeondraft before and it's pretty easy to use. I can't say anything informed about the other two.
For another free option there is MapTool. It's powerful, has dynamic lighting and a strong community behind it. There are frameworks for a multitude of systems for it as well. That being said, its interface is rather outdated and its a resource hog.
I've moved onto Foundry, A onetime fee, it's got a giant community supporting it, ESPECIALLY the PF2 content. Plain core foundry and the PF2 system does a LOT but optional modules for handy dandy things like multilevel buildings, fancy animated effects, and more are readily available and easy to use with a mostly intuitive interface.
Oh, the map was a physical grid map that I can use dry erase markers to draw the map on. I used Foundry purely for tracking monsters and initiative. I think there's an addon for running sessions with a single screen, Hotseat, but I've never used it before.
> R20 has that as an option I think called "Fudged Rolls"
Do you mean Fudge dice? Those are dice with values -1, 0, 1, used for the FUDGE system. The name comes from an acronym and is unrelated from fudging rolls. As far as I know, actually faking rolls is impossible in Roll20.
> I just want a universal dice input so people can roll actual physical dice with the benefits of the automation
I'm not sure I understand what you're saying. Do you mean clicking to roll a 3D die on the screen? Foundry can do that in the Dice So Nice module. Otherwise I'm really not sure what you mean by having both physical dice and automation.
https://foundryvtt.com/packages/pdftofoundry/
Requires watermarked PDF as it is solely for content translation per the community license, Foundry does not have Paizo license for these adventures and AP (though Paizo has officially supported it with Bounty to test the market) If there is a flip-map then it will also import it for hi-rez rather than using the PDF maps.

Lore book art and text cannot be made available, but all the mechanics from the lore books are.
I also use Foundry for our in person games. When we first started using it we used a battle mat with tokens, just like normal, except my "DM screen" was a laptop with Foundry running.
My maps were typically just pages of tokens, and I'd track hit points and initiative within Foundry, as well as putting in note links so I could easily find story or scenario notes. Players kept track of their own characters (typically with Pathbuilder on phones or physical sheets, depending on player preference).
Lately we've been using a TV set up on our gaming table instead as it speeds things up a huge amount. The TV is connected to a second laptop with a wireless mouse running Chrome set to full screen as with a player view where the players have control over every PC. Then they have a mouse to control the laptop while I run a a GM version. When they want to move their characters they just drag and drop them.
It's still interactive since we're sitting at the same table but it saves me a ton of time during gameplay because everyone doesn't have to sit around and wait for me to slowly draw walls of the dungeon room they just opened, especially when I'm off by a square and have to redraw half the damn thing. I can just preset the maps (including using official maps for modules, which is great, or build stuff using DungeonDraft) and gain all the LOS benefits, ability to show monster images, etc.
Eventually we plan to build a flat TV into our table so we can use the table as a battle map to really get the best of both worlds, but in the meantime the player TV, even set up vertically, has been working really well for us and makes visualizing the scene so much easier.
There are some modules that make this easier, like Display Mode, but I've found it works pretty well out of the box.
For darkvision:
For light, e.g. a torch
The amount of bright light and dim light should always be specified, but afaik dim light radius is always double of bright light radius
To make things easier, install https://foundryvtt.com/packages/torchlight
Hello! So, I tried using the dimensions you had on the image and I tried using the PDFoundry importer to import the Maps, then change the image to this one cause it had walls, doors, and all that etc. However, even adjusting for the new map, it still doesn't line up on the grid.
Screenshot from my Foundry Setup.
Any suggestions? Also, if I was able to DM you proof that I own the AP, would you be willing to export your version from Foundry using the Adventure Importer/Exporter Module: https://foundryvtt.com/packages/adventure-import-export/
I know about the asynchronous stuff, but I remember something else. Doesn't this help?
Seems like Uncial Antiqua. Free to use Web font.
https://fonts.google.com/specimen/Uncial+Antiqua

Edit: it's very similar but not the same.
Man, I feel ya on that. I'm certainly not going to try force you to do it, especially considering this seems to be a labour of love to you and I personally much prefer webapps over regular apps.
About kotlin on iOS though: https://kotlinlang.org/docs/mobile/create-first-app.html
Since you're using kotlin, I assume you're also using IntelliJ. You can dev your stuff on windows or linux and then use mac in cloud to actually build.
I'd still go for the webapps though ;)
There's lots of ways you can make Jinx. I would either...
Play a gunslinger, reflavor a scatter weapon as a gatling gun, and choose feats that use alchemical bombs
Play a magus with a firearm and flavor all her spells as her gadgets and traps and special ammo. Instead of a spellbook, she might have a book of schematics. This works more well than you think as Jinx is technically a mage of sorts.
Play an inventor with a weapon innovation, get gadget feats, get snare feats, and pick the feat that lets you change the configuration of your innovation between two weapons, thus letting you switch between Fishbones and her minigun.
Finally, if your GM is making a campaign based off of the setting in Arcane, I highly recommend he pick up a book called League of Legends: Realms of Runeterra. Arcane is based on a game called League of Legends, and this book is the official setting book for the world that both Arcane and League of Legends takes place in.
You could use these from first edition https://www.amazon.com/Pathfinder-Campaign-Cards-Social-Combat/dp/1601256108
(But really, as a GM for 14 years running all sorts of systems, letting players be organic and reacting to them organically usually is the best way forward.)
SRDs are great. I will say that pdf's suck a lot less if you use a decent PDF reader. Scrolling through an adventure/module sucks in Acrobat.
I recommend Sumatra, but honestly there are probably tons of good choices besides Acrobat or your web browser.
There are also options in I believe this module to do the on the fly creatures with integrations for the rolling furthur arguin for the basic. I personally use the basic along with the module in my game, although i use the physical screen more often.
As a follow up, I posted elsewhere but it is highly applicable to the OP, Foundry is going on sale for the first time ever. 25% off until Monday midnight EST: https://foundryvtt.com/purchase/
You can use a Module like Compendium Image Mapper to quickly assign token art.
https://foundryvtt.com/packages/imagemapper/
You need to name the art and the token close to the same, otherwise the module tells you to do it manually.

Supports a number of official paizo adventures, is still ongoing to get the rest. I gave it the first agents of edgewatch pdf and it created all of the maps, journal entries (and pinned them to maps), edgewatch specific npc, items, etc in one go.
I've heard a lot of good things about Foundry, but there are some things I'm not sure about.
Is dynamic lighting the only way to do fog of war? Or is simple fog of war also available, where the GM just selects an area to reveal?
How exactly do player logins work? From reading the getting started tutorial, it looks like each game world has separate player accounts. But the GM creates those accounts? Does "access key" just mean password? And, if the GM does not configure passwords for the players, do the players just select their name from a dropdown or something to login?
Is there a way to have the character sheet not auto-calculate things? As in, if I just want to enter information as it appears on my physical character sheet, is that an option? Or is the only way to use the character sheet to fully fill out all the character's feat selections, gear, etc.?
If a player doesn't want to use the character sheet, how feasible is it to ignore the sheet and just do all rolls by copying & pasting from a text document? In your experience, would a player doing that make doing secret skill checks as the GM too cumbersome?
This is the module. On install and on the gitlab it says which Paizo watermarked PDFs it currently supports: https://foundryvtt.com/packages/pdftofoundry/ Right now it currently will work with Age of Ashes 1-6, Fall of Plaguestone, PFS quests 2 and 3 and PFS scenarios 1,5,6,12,16 and 17
Firgof’s Patreon is https://www.patreon.com/join/Firgof The tokens will be available for Patreons about a month early. At least after we put the first batch into the core. He is thinking of doing a set coloured by an AI colouring program. First trials from that look cool too!
There doesn't seem to be a list of PF2-specific modules yet (probably because the system does so much of the heavy lifting already!). Generally, you can use what's in the Universal section of modules on the Community page, though you'll want to keep an eye out for modules that involve referencing/tinkering with stats, as those will more than likely require a specific system. There are also modules that aren't on the Community list, which you can find in the Modules page of Foundry's website, though you have to do more investigation, as they aren't grouped like the community page is.
I saw that but it's not compatible with what we want to offer. We want it to be 3D, very pretty, very intuitive and free. Foundry is an extremely versatile tool but it's far from what we consider a "pleasant experience".
Also there is people already working on a Pathfinder2e system for Foundry, check it out here: https://foundryvtt.com/packages/systems
We are running a very similar campaign and I just wanted to convey my experience and ask if you have some solutions to our problems.
Tips:
Issues:
1) ambient sound
2) map/scene changes
As the other commenters said, the target was about 33.5 feet away. In most other situations where rounding can occur, the rule is to always round down
I would argue, that RAW, you would round it down to 30 feet, therefore the target was in range.
EDIT: In the future, I agree with u/Sparticuse. Maybe use diagonal movement rules. But that's kind of complicated to do on the fly. So I personally would just find the hypotenuse (https://www.omnicalculator.com/math/hypotenuse) and round it down.
Yeah - right now it's free for me on heroku's free tier, but with higher traffic either the website would become sluggish/crash and I'd have to bump the tier up.
Pricing: https://www.heroku.com/pricing
Thinking about it a little bit more, I think the chances that it exceeds the hobby tier are very low, so share away!
Here is an image of a 4 circle Venn. Let
A= mind
B= matter
C= life
D= spirit
Overlap AB = arcane
Overlap BC = primal
Overlap CD = divine
Overlap AD = occult
The center, which gives you additional flexibility are the triple overlap regions and the single quadruple overlap region. Thematically one could almost view this as a prism, with the source of all magic being the center quadruple overlap ABCD, and it fracturing into the various essences and traditions. One would likely try to establish a link between this and say the history of Golarion.
